If I (us) dont buy WWE figures from the stores, then the stores don't buy from Mattel. If people start losing interest in the figures because of distribution issues (lack of figures), then Mattel loses its profit from the buyers. Which mean, all those figures are sitting in the stores, which makes the stores think not to buy more of these figures anymore. Sooo.. They profit from me! lol Understand honey And your suggestion was "how about Mattel sends more figures", which isn't going to happen unless the retailers purchase them first. By the time any figures land in your hand, Mattel's already made the money back. But nice job playing the dick anyway, honey. If they sent out more figures, there would be more check written out to Mattel (more profit). Even though Mattel does get their check now, it doesnt mean that they still cant lose money from people losing interest in the future. Have you not seen all those pictures of empty shelves, I've see it myself in my own area. Imagine people walking to the wrestling toy section; seeing nothing and saying, "F this" and losing interest in spending any more money on WWE toys. So yeah, sending out "more figures" is a benefit to us and Mattel. Speaking of Dic...Ah forget it, here it goes! (KEENAN & KEL theme starts playing) lol

They profit from me! lol Understand honey I know I am buying way less WWE product than in the past and it's not by choice, it's by circumstance. I'm also losing interest. I'm at the point if I find something great, if not I will put my money to better use elsewhere. There has to be a better method. Why doesn't Mattel sell these figures online? Why doesnt WWE shop carry figures with any regularity? The figures are being made and eventually sold off to discount stores at a fraction of their price because there is a disconnect somewhere between the company who makes them and the people who want to buy them. Mattel doesnt run an online shop anymore. They had to cut costs after Toys R Us went out of business and that was one of the things to go. Any figures sold on WWE Shop can also be found on Ringside and usually at a lower price.

Based on my time in retail, that is one that would be taken pretty seriously if it was reported to a District Manager or reporting it to corporate. I don't like stirring the pot like that but they are violating multiple company policies if they are denying a customer a sale without valid reason, in addition to selling merchandise they bought at their store, presumably with discount or not. The store I worked for years ago had all kinds of clauses about selling stuff employees bought there.

If anyone is the "new Harley Race" it's the Peyton Royce elite. Interesting where the story will end with her-I flipped mine for a DM Bret Hart, my #1 want from the day I started collecting again. If it does become the new Harley, and doesn't show up in stores again, I'll worry about the few $100 I missed out on. I am very happy with how it went down, and will be in the future, as that Bret is probably my favorite Mattel, along with my 1A favorite: RSC b&w nWo Macho Man.

In the long run the DM will be more valuable. Peyton isn't even on TV anymore. More will pop up somewhere this year. Hopefully Big Lots or a similar place.

I’m no Bret Hart fan, but I can’t imagine why someone would trade that for Peyton Royce.

I’m no Bret Hart fan, but I can’t imagine why someone would trade that for Peyton Royce. Maybe they have multiples? Those Brets were like $13 at Big Lots and there were plenty of them. It's not crazy that someone has a few of them on hand for trades. I'm not saying I would have done it, but at the time those Brets came out they weren't hard to find. I got all of those late DMs (Austin, Taker, Bret, Steamboat, Cena) at Big Lots for that price. So maybe someone just had extra from when those were available. Great figure, though. I swapped the head but I still think that's the best Bret Mattel has made by a landslide.

Peyton Royce will show up eventually. Elite 73 hasn't even hit any of the Targets around my area yet.

If anyone is the "new Harley Race" it's the Peyton Royce elite. Maybe right now - but that's just because of the crazy impatient women's collectors. It'll level out especially since this isn't her first Mattel figure and reportedly when they start hitting Targets, she'll be packed two a case. Not to mention, the Iconics have barely had any TV time in the last couple months. She'll end up like Sonya and be pretty easy to get if you want one.

If the manager purchased the figures with his own money, then he is a customer Person at the customer service desk .It was up there for hold for me .The manager bought it while on shift .Still being investigated by Target LP.Customer service lady told me he always does this and she told me to call corporate and gave me the number.

Found a full case near Pittsburgh this morning. Monroeville specifically. Two Paige’s in the case, one Ohno, no Cena. Left them all. Hope a collector finds them.

I didn’t start collecting until Shinsuke and Jericho came out. Only DM I’ve seen at a discount store is the one Cena at Five Below.

Only DM I’ve seen at a discount store is the one Cena at Five Below. The start of the line was just a different time. There was also a surplus of that DM 1 Macho Man at Kmart. I can't remember the cheapest I paid for one but they got very cheap and I saw at least a dozen of them on clearance on an end cap at Kmart at one point. I bought the HOF plaque versions of the Legends Series 1 guys for a couple of bucks each at Kmart. You could also buy the real scale ring for $30 from Big Lots around the time the DM stuff was there and Legends Series 2 and 3 got clearanced out at different places like Tuesday Morning for cheap. I think it just took a lot of time for CS collectors to finally jump over to Mattel. I know I had doubles and triples of some of that stuff but I sold most of it off over time.
