Does anyone know if they still have the rights to make Crush figures? There were so many different attires he had, due to 5-6 gimmicks. I'd love a D.O.A. Crush or Kona Crush. Any info would be appreciated!

Any info would be appreciated! Not 100% sure but I think I heard they said no they don’t have rights to crush at the moment. Check the AFA thread it’s probably in the summary post somewhere * edit * never mind I got it Do you still have the license for Crush? Would like to see a Kona version. The way the Demolition Crush was made seemed like a clear indicator that the plan was to do a simple repaint using the some mold. Also, what is the status of never before released belts? Big green, WCW US, WCW tv, etc.? Although extremely unlikely right now, was the NWA domed globe ever close to seeing the light of day from Mattel? No Crush deal in place. Read back a bit for more convo on that. Titles that are available to us will continue to be released in time. We don’t have the rights to the NWA title.

According to on old Q&A with Bill, Crush was one of the last direct deals Mattel made. He was supposed to be in the Legends line before it was canceled.

I'm hoping he gets resigned and we can get at least one each of the Kona and evil Crush looks. I think Kona Crush could be in the regular elite line or collectors edition, either or, but the evil Crush should be the figure with the chase, have the regular elite in his classic purple attire then have the chase in the red/black/gold attire he started wearing in the summer of 1994.

I would LOVE a new Crush figure.
I've been watching 1993 Raws lately and Crush is a force. Wish we could get Evil Crush AND Kona Crush -- Shaka-Brah!

There are so many great looks that would make sense as a figure. I'm hoping he finds his way back into the line at some point. He's not involved with the concussion lawsuit, I don't know of any bad blood with WWE, and I'd imagine the estate would be interested. He would be somebody who they could definitely get mileage out of, with a number of looks that would be kid-friendly.
From what I recall, Mattel admitted they dropped the ball in the time between the Legends line getting killed and Flashbacks going into the main line. I believe there were a few guys whose deals were about to expire and they rushed them into the line. I think Bruno and Crush were both in that category. So it was probably a lot easier/faster to do a pretty bare bones Demolition figure than a more deco heavy figure like Kona or heel crush.

Man I need a Kona Crush. The Demolition one was great and needed but a shame they only got one out before his deal expired.

We all know, if Adams gets signed, Mattel will skip over those looks and make a Kronik figure first.

I scratch my head with other wrestlers too that arent involved with the concussion lawsuit and don't have any bad blood with WWE, and we still dont get figures of them.

I guess it speaks to the power of the Doink feud, because he was Demolition Crush for just under a year, Kona Crush for about 15 months and then Evil Crush for about 16 months.

I keep scrolling past this thread and thinking it’s about me LOL.
Anyway, I would love an 1994 Heel Crush... and WM10 Macho Man to go with him.

We all know, if Adams gets signed, Mattel will skip over those looks and make a Kronik figure first. Hard to decide. I was gonna reply and say I'd take both of Kronik over the alternatives, but Kona Crush, Evil Crush, & Adam Bomb sound pretty f'n good to me. I'd go w/the WWF characters.
