Im liking some of the match choices and agree with them but just to point out that the Nastys weren't leaving in 92. They stuck around and turned face in late 92 and didn't leave until spr/summer 93 I knew they didn't bail until 1993. Vince was pretty much finished with them in 1992 and they knew it..they said so in their shoot. They hated the face turn later on...said it didn't fit their gimmick(they were right) they were looking to go from early 92...Watts had made them an offer I believe.... Yeah, in late 1992, after Hawk bailed and LOD was out, the company was looking hard for a top babyface tag team so they turned the Nasty Boys - it's odd that the 2 top heel tag teams in 1991 were the 2 top babyface tag teams in 1992. But i think once the WWF signed the Steiner Brothers, they didn't want the Nasty Boys anymore as I would imagine they figured the Steiner Brothers would be the new top babyface tag team. Shame they didn't keep the Nasty Boys as a heel tag team, I would have liked to see the Steiner vs. the Nasty Boys in the WWF - after the Steiner beat Money Inc. for the titles. It still baffles me how the Steiner Brothers had such a short run in the WWF, especially when the WWF really needed top notch tag teams at the time.

I have heard on podcast's that Vince really liked Scott and wanted him to be a singles star, maybe Scott turned down that idea so Vince got mad and dumped them. Strange, because they were doing really well and were very popular with the WWF crowd.

They were supposed to beat the Quebecers at WMX to regain the taggers & celebrate with Bret in the ring at the end.....but they fell way outta favor

Yeah, I heard they were supposed to fight each other like Demolition did in the 89 Rumble but they chose not to. Shame they fell out of favor, the WWF really needed a top tier tag team during this time and the Steiner's would have been the ideal team.

Yeah Nasties as babyfaces=bad idea.
On topic of the WM VIII card they gave us, They easily could've squeezed Bulldog/Berzerker on the card. It's WRESTLEMANIA for crying out loud. Same goes for Bam Bam/Kamala the following year.

You could turn Owen Hart heel and put him against Koko B. Ware. They weren't a team yet and I'm not sure if Koko was actively with the WWF at the time. But that could have been a fun match to watch. He could have turned heel and had a match with his brother in law British Bulldog. That would have been even better. They were a great tag team a few years later.

Hogan, Sid, Flair, Savage in a fatal four way.
Sid is outside the ring after Savage hit him with a chair. Hogan is in the figure four, Savage goes to the top rope, looks like he is going to land the flying elbow on Flair, but gets down, runs to the other turnbuckle and hits Hogan with a flying elbow, then pins him.
Savage becomes champ. Hogan leaves the company. Sid leaves the company. Flair unsuccessfully challenges Savage once, is then beaten by Bret Hart for a number one contender match.
Hart goes on to feud with Savage for the belt.

This is the best fantasy lineup I've seen even with a more limited staff on the show. Amazing card and amazing to think that Duggan, Slaughter, Bossman, Virgil, Mountie, Repo, Skinner, Owen, Tito, Berzerker and Bulldog are left off.

Hulk Hogan defs Ric Flair (Via DQ) for the WWF Championship when Sid Justice interferes. Warrior makes the save. Hogan must pose.
Bret Hart def Roddy Piper for the WWF IC Championship
Legion of Doom def Money Inc for the WWF Tag Team Championship (like mentioned above, Money Inc would win the titles going into Mania at SNME or live event)
Shawn Michaels def Marty Jannetty
Owen Hart def The Mountie
Macho Man, Earthquake & Typhoon def Jake Roberts, The Undertaker & Papa Shango (afterwards Taker turns on Jake, tombstone him & Roberts leaves the WWF)
Pre Show/Dark match
Battle Royal Winner Rick Martel last eliminating British Bulldog
