So former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas is a douche when it comes to AEW. He has a video on his Facebook about how the crowd wasn't into the show last night and hardly cheered. I commented that they did cheer, the sang Jericho's theme song, they yelled at a ship, they even swore in their chants. He said back how the fans were tasteless and juvenile and classless to do that. I responded with how he must have forgot that when he worked for the WWE in the attitude era, fans would chant "@$$hole" to Vince and his crew. He then deleted all the comments..... what a moron. I love how some ex WWE employees still suck on Vince, and put down the competition, when they should be happy that there is another company out there for wrestlers to make a living. And from what I've read, the WWE talent is enjoying having a company around with national exposure. They're able to at least get some leverage over Vince with contracts and requesting a little downtime, stick it to him for a change. |

Princella is like AEW's version of paige only princella she is like 5x hotter. Britt is seriously one of the worst woman's wrestler on AEW, her wrestling is so average and her matches are always solely focused on her finisher, no other substance. Commentary always boasts about her being a dentist in real life, ok we get it, we know...at least she has a gimmick and because she sucks so much I wouldn't mind her becoming a heel as the AEW women's division needs to start assigning face/heel roles and start some actual story lines (unlike nightmare hair collective brandi cult group party gang?) but god damn, can't her boyfriend train her on the mic? Jesus, sounded like a whiny drunk college student at a party trying to insult her classmate. I laughed so hard that they cut off her crappy promo for a commercial. Yes turn her heel but teach her how to be one!
Tag titles dropping was kind of a surprise, kenny/page just seems like the most random tag team. Especially since the "elite" already has a tag team to represent themselves (bucks). It will make for some good stories to build them up as tag champs until page finally turns heel. Honestly I think the factions in AEW are just too big. We got inner circle (5 guys), Brani's cult (5?), Dark order (20+?), The elite (5?), MJF's group (5) That is at least half the roster right there that are all associated with being in a faction. Limits who can wrestle who and closes doors to more story lines.
The #1 contender match did nothing for me. At least we'll finally see mox vs. jericho
Give us luchasaouras vs. hagar already!

Presentation matters. I love some of the sets they've done, and it makes episodes feel more memorable. It was a solid show, but I was only half watching due to some work stuff that came up. Britt is a much better fit as a heel than a face, but it feels like she's going half speed in the ring and is still sloppy. Yet they continue to give her significant tv time.
