My FINAL WWE match took place on Monday Night RAW against my close friend and legend @619iamlucha A great way to close out that chapter. The end of my career looms larger every month. It's been one HELL of a ride! I'm not finished just yet. But soon. Very soon. Thank you wwe and the #wweuniverse for all the love!!! What an amazing week I've had."

highly doubt it. dustin rhodes, ddp, and y2j are the only older talent aew is using and they all have a specific role. 46 year old mvp doesn't hold a lot of promise.

That's fine. He really just wanted his son to be able to see him wrestle in WWE. I'm glad he was able to have that experience with his son and accomplish that goal.

I assumed it was just going to be a one-off and was surprised when he showed up on Raw.

He was a decent talent during his first run, when he got released everyone was good bye. He comes back at Royal Rumble and Raw now most become fans and want him to stay. At least his son got to see him in WWE

He’s also talked about wanting to see what he can do behind the scenes as his in-ring career is winding down now. Not sure where he could land on that, but seeing as these appearances came out of nowhere, I wonder if he’s already in talks with WWE.

Well if he did just want to let his son see him in a WWE ring, kudos for them letting him do that.

If the only reason he came back was for his son to see him That’s pretty cool. Seems like as long as you leave WWE on good terms they will use you or bring you in.

He looked pretty winded towards the end of his match with Rey.
I've always liked MVP, and if he's going out on his terms, good for him.
Also glad to see he's in the good graces of WWE.
I wouldn't say he's a first ballot, but he's had a decent enough career that he could be in the HOF one day...

He could probably do well as a road agent or producer for WWE if he decides to hang the boots up.

Seems like as long as you leave WWE on good terms they will use you or bring you in. even if it's bad terms, you're likely to return... there's a handful of people who never did - mostly because there was zero demand to bring them back. for example, i doubt kevin kelly will ever call a wwe broadcast again. but who knows.

that is a really great and nice way for him to end things with his in ring career.
I was always entertained by him when he was around in the WWE. His mid-card feud with Matt Hardy was a real favorite of mine and one of the last meaningful and interesting mid-card feuds I can actually remember in all honesty.

Then his last WWE match can be remembered for that odd 619 spot where people aren't sure if it was a botch or not.

Good for him. Didn't burn any bridges and got to have one last farewell tour. While he was never a favorite by any means, MVP had a decent WWE run and seems content with his career.
Better than the millionth guy who leaves bitter and broken.
