IF this is true, just book it to be Rollins, Murphy, AOP vs Owens, Taker, Sting, & Joe. That way Joe & Kevin can carry the load and everyone gets to see Sting & Taker share a ring.
Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.Perfect idea for Wrestlemania have Owens continue his feud with Rollins and company and they continue to take out his help like Joe,War Raiders..ect and finally these old legends step in to stick up for Owens. You could go the route of Rollins,Murphy,AOP Vs. Owens,Hogan,Sting & Big Show.Hell even break out the nWo colors for one night only(ties into the Hall of Fame and those three legends careers) obviously Owens does the bulk of the work and the other three get a few minutes to hit their trade mark stuff.Would be a nice way to also retire all three and give them a better send off then what they have had.

The matches aren’t good anymore but I still prefer to see Taker, Sting, Goldberg etc over people like Buddy Murphy, Mojo Riley, Humberto etc Call me crazy. I kinda am. I'm on the crazy train with you.... Although after seeing Goldbegy nearly cripple The Undertaker I don't know if its a great idea to have 2 guys of their age and the ring rust go at it in the Saudi heat. Make it a tag match so they get rests or a match with a smaller young guy that they can still do their power moves on or just rely on the part timers like Triple H and Brock Lesnar and now Edge maybe guys like Tuson Fury or Valesquez too but guys that wrestle a few times a year with less ring rust and a bit younger

Would love to get another Sting match, but would hate for him to eat another L. That said, any Sting appearance or chance of it will have my attention.

Time for Hogan to get that win back after losing his final match to Sting in TNA... Either that or get his win back from Judgement Day ‘02.

I don't want Sting to wrestle again and I don't want him to fight Undertaker. They are both tied for my favorite wrestler. IF Sting was going to wrestle again, I'd rather have him TEAM with Undertaker, rather than them fight each other.
But again, I don't think at 60 with the neck injury there is even a reason to risk it. If Sting is going to be on, just have him appear but not take any bumps.
Example: After Taker fights his match at Super Showdown, either the guy he beat starts attacking him or multiple people start attacking Taker....it looks like he's done for. The lights go out, and they go back on and Sting is in the ring, and Taker and Sting just kinda look at each other and start cleaning house.
Basically just do this EXACT same segment again, but with Taker instead of Orton:

It still annoys me how they had all the tools to do Sting/Taker when they could both reasonably go, and they literally just decided not to.

They can still be entertaining. That is something WWE needs to teach the new guys. I'm also crazy because I would rather see a Undertaker and Sting showdown over a so called five star match.

To me this is still a DREAM match.
Even if it’s just for the insane entrances, the stare down, the hyped crowd etc.
Quick 5 minute match of all their classic moves!
DONE. HAPPY.

I think Sting said Undertaker didn't want to do the match, or that was the prevailing rumor at the time. I'm guessing there was a fear, even at that time, of having two guys in there who really couldn't bump for each other. After Mania 28, Taker worked guys who could bump all over for him. Punk wrestled himself, Brock beat Taker, Bray bumped all over, Shane threw himself off the Cell, and Reigns bumped all over and got the "retirement" nod in a match Taker barely looked able to work. I think had Taker had hip replacement surgery prior to Mania 31, we would have gotten the match. Taker was hurt and then Sting got hurt with the neck. Just two old guys who couldn't get on the same page.

I believe he said he sort expressed that he wanted the match, but there was no interest on Taker's behalf. Sucks because a moment with both of them in the same ring would probably be one of the most iconic memories of all time.

Sting vs Shawn would be a greater match than with the Undertaker

Let Sting have a match with Undertaker and Shawn Michaels. He is always talking about them in interviews along with The Rock.
