Wonder when we will see the series 2 rare and chase figures Maybe SDCC in July but with everything going on, who knows? Even if SDCC doesn't happen (and I'm leaning toward it won't), I'd imagine companies will do some sort of livestream panel, reveals, etc. SDCC is a huge marketing/branding opportunity to build excitement for the coming year, so I'd be shocked if we don't see companies do something.

Obviously there was an audience, but I think you could easily to the presentation just for the cameras. I'd like to see Mattel do something like that for the Axxess reveals. More likely that we'll just get a slideshow dropped on WWE.com sometime this week, but it would be a much more engaging marketing opportunity.

These could be the game changers that push Mattel.
AEW is a better product then WWE. The figures might follow suit

Factories where all of these toys are made are in limbo right now keep in mind. With a world pandemic, production of the actual figures are not happening

With a world pandemic, production of the actual figures are not happening China has has already resumed production in most regions, though we have no way of knowing how much Mattel's factories were impacted. There will be continued disruption, but supply chains are still in tact. Regardless, SDCC is usually all digital renders, so physical protos aren't necessary.

I have a friend at super7 who told me the same thing, he manages super7 sports. But how do we know China has resumed ? I have not seen where they have. Just that there’s 21m people missing from their cell phone towers now. Who knows what’s going on in China- would love to read more on the factory subject

This article has a nice animated graphic: globalnews.ca/news/6704818/air-pollution-declined-china-coronavirus/Most economists seem to be estimating China's at 60-70% of capacity, so it's definitely a work in progress. From what I understand, manufacturing tends to be clustered by type with certain provinces specializing in certain kinds of factories. So we have no idea where the toy/plastics manufacturing factories might be in relation to regions that were more or less impacted. I think the bigger chance for disruption will be in the US supply lines, if we see this drag into June/July at a large scale.

Finally bit the bullet and preordered all of series one as well as the Bubbley Jericho. First time I’ve ordered a whole series on one swoop since Jakks Classic Series one all those years ago.

I know Matt stated that his figure is already underway, but unfortunately, he is mistaken. Not to say it isn't coming. Come on. We know it will. But just not yet.

So... about the AEW toyline, has it been mentioned anywhere if the ring-exclusive Omega is coming with entrance gear?
