I do wonder about stuff like Jericho’s tights though, because he was there when they started monopolizing IP including logos (because they had in-house artists designing things) so I wonder if Jericho could use say his Wrestlemania 19 tights outside WWE I think it's entirely possible they own the logo of the silhouette posing and "Y2J" which could prevent him from wearing those tights again. His huge gut would be a factor, as well. I’m quite certain they own the silhouette, it was in everything he did from 2001-2008

Poor distribution is completely killing my interest in the Unrivaled series. I don’t mind paying extra to get certain harder to find characters to fill out a collection. I just can’t get into a line where you have to beat the odds to find any in stores or pay well above retail for every single character. I remember checking Wal-Mart and BrickSeek over and over when Series 1 was released only to never find them. After a while I realized it just wasn’t worth the hassle to me. It seems like things are only getting worse with Series 2.

My advice to anyone who hasn't already ordered the figures is to just wait it out or order from RSC when they re-stock. They should be pretty reasonably available in the long run.

We've been over this plenty of times already, but look at the Storm Hogans for a good example. Because they weren't licensed by WWE, they had to remove any WWE-owned IP, namely any references to the NWO or the NWO logo - but otherwise were able to make basically Hogan's entire career from the 80's through the 00's. The same will hold true for Jazwares. Any image, name, or other trademarked IP owned by another party, WWE or otherwise, will be off limits. But just because somebody "wore something on WWE tv" does not make it WWE's intellectual property. Have you read the contracts?

Youre not sure how Sting owning the gear he commissioned, designed (or had a hand in designing at the very least) and paid for works? When did that start for him?

I miss the way this site was before edgy gimmick posters became the norm.

I’d like a Penta figure but I have no desire to pay more than retail for one. I don’t plan on collecting most of this line but when a Butcher figure happens, I guess I’ll have to pre order instantly if I want a chance at one.

Imagine how much money they have left on the table not having figures available in any fashion for the holidays.

Hey everyone, I've been checking out this forum for a while now and decided to join. I'm just getting into collecting and I've decided to only stick with AEW figs. I had to get series 1 for almost double the price for each figure through eBay. I hope series 2 restocks on rsc because eBay prices for series 2 are ridiculous!

The availability of S2 is really going to decide whether or not I move forward collecting this line, save for any legends if they ever get made. I was really happy with S1 but never got around to preordering S2 when it went up.

Thinking about all the rings that have no figures to wrestle in them. Those damn basic rings and belts are everywhere but the actual thing that matters is nowhere to be seen

I went to 3 Walmarts that are all about 20 minutes from where I live and only one had the AEW title. No rings, no figs and barely any WWE products. I miss the good ole days when you had Toy R Us, KB Toys and KMart, etc. to get everything you wanted. Now it's either Walmart, Target or you're paying ridiculous prices online. Shouldn't all this new technology make production quicker?

I'm glad to see RSC has series 2 up for back-order. On the bright side, kids can open up envelopes for Christmas with the receipt that their favorite AEW stars will be coming in a month or so.

Did ya hear? A member on the Mattel board graciously gave permission to talk about the positive aspects of these figures on this board. So have it!

I joined a FaceBook group about AEW figures and alot of people are posting pictures of MJF & Moxley chase figures they're finding in stores. They're all on the West Coast, CA & Texas. Is this because of bad distribution? I live on Long Island NY, will I have any chance at finding a chase in NY?
This makes me wonder; just because Jazware says a figure is 1/500 or 1/1000, is that really true? Can they produce more than they claim? It seems like part of this line is designed to create scarcity for the secondary market. What's to stop them from straight up lying? It's not very likely the public would be able to prove 500+ or 1000+ of a figure were created.

No there have been chases found in PA/NJ areas.
