Please no. I can't afford to collect another scale. You wouldn’t have to buy it. I wouldn’t, and I won’t buy the AEW figures if they aren’t in scale with WWE elites

I hope it’s something really cool and/or legends based but I’m thinking it’s likely some other sideline thing that will disappear in a year or so - like the MOTU, zombies, retros etc etc

Ok.., let’s see......?! We’ve got zombies We’ve got monsters We’ve got ninja.. (freaking).. turtles We’ve got He-man We’ve got aliens We’ve got Ghost.. (damn).. Busters It’s gotta be.... Fraggles ftw If it’s not a full line of the Fisher Price Little People It’ll either be Transformers or like Playmates did with TMNT in the 90’s and it’ll be a subline of TMNT wrestlers dressed as Star Trek characters.

I hope it's a legends line. Or maybe an Nxt line. But it will probably be something in a different scale.

Then. Now. Forever. 3-pack of the same superstar. 1 of them young, 1 of them now, and 1 most iconic moment of theirs. I second this idea!

Don't get your hopes up. ShowcaseCollector posted a few weeks ago that FlexForce was making a return, and his info is usually spot on.
But to look at this with rose colored glasses...I'm almost certain at SDCC Bill said the Sting render we saw was part of a new line that wasn't announced yet. Greg Valentine still doesn't have an announced spot, and we know he won't be a store exclusive, and probably doesn't fit their current mold as a main line figure. And Steve has had semi-positive "we'd do it if it made sense" answers to questions about a dedicated Legends line. So maaaaaaybe there's a chance at seeing Legends make a comeback? They've struck out with just about every other idea over the last few years, and there has been constant demand among at least a vocal sub segment of their customer base literally since the day the line was axed. So why not? Not much to lose, given their current situation.
But I'm keeping expectations low.

It was called the Flashback line and lasted only 3 series.

It was called the Flashback line and lasted only 3 series. And by most indicators that set sold well, and the line cancellations seemed to have more to do with fickle retail partners than sales numbers. Not saying it will or should happen, but Mattel has failed time and time again over the last few years with new lines. They haven't had a home run in years, and are struggling to get retailers to pick up their product. And upcoming AEW figures could shrink their retail footprint and marketshare further. If there's a time for a hail mary, this is probably it.

The line Dave mentioned is a fun new kids focused line. He’s doing an amazing job with it. Although that line isn’t a collector focused line, we’ll definitely have some other exciting collector reveals at NYTF.

Nothing said beyond that. My mistake. That is what I was told. I think Hammer will end up in the Network Spotlight series if not the mainline.

He's talking about the new AEW figures. The poison he's going to inject into the WWE/Mattel contract

I’m all for diversity in a toyline but how is this going to increase sales?
If you can’t consistently deliver any of the mainlines to the store why would you reduce pegspace/shelf space for something different?

I'd guess it'd be a 3.75 line since Vonner is involved.

I’m guessing 3.75 and I’ll be all in for it. I miss collecting GI Joes
