Anyone watching this season? I really liked the premier! I think the fire tokens are a pretty interesting new concept, curious to see if it helps or hinders the game at all. I do like that they threw Edge of Extinction and Fire Tokens at these contestants! Giving them all something none of them have dealt with before.

I'm watching this season. I'm alright with the tokens but I really hate that edge of extinction is included. Especially with the long awaited all winner season.
Really rooting for my girl Kim to win it.

Really rooting for my girl Kim to win it. I am really mixed on Extinction Island. Like, I don't think Chris deserved to win the Extinction season. But I do like this aspect of the people on extinction being able to sell stuff back to the players in the game. I think that is a unique twist. If you could somehow do that twist without someone from Extinction coming back, I think that would be neat but almost impossible to figure out how to do. lol Don't see too many people online rooting for Kim so that is a nice change of pace! It's weird for me, like, I know all these people but I still feel like I don't have a favorite yet if that makes sense. Like I liked Wendell on his season but I wouldn't say he is who I'm rooting for to win. I always seem to mentally restart every season and not consider past seasons. It's odd.

Loved this week's episode! Ben/Denise/Jeremy/Michelle showed Rob that he ain't running the game and they showed Adam that he ain't running the game! Such a good tribal to really shock the two people who were "running" the tribe! Hate that Ethan had to go because of it, but still.

Apparently Jeremy wanted Ethan gone because he wants to work with Rob. Jeremy's used this strategy before too, keeping big threats around to protect himself. I think it was very foolish for them to let Adam know they're going after him, which is what Adam did to Parvati/Rob. I do love seeing Rob eat some humble pie though.

I don't really know how smart it was and it might even make Rob/Adam work together. But as a viewer, it was an enjoyable move! I like game shaking moves, so while maybe not smart for the players, it was enjoyable to me as an audience.

Got backed up on Survivor but I caught up last night. Sad to see Tyson go. He's always entertaining. Loved that Rob went! Finally they took the shot! I feel like Rob plays "dictator" too much and that rubs people the wrong way. Forcing them all to stay at camp and not leave, stuff like that gets on people's nerves I think.

Those two tribals last night were different. Didn't like seeing Wendal being made to look like a total villian just because he was working with the girls. Sandra going was maybe the hardest I have laughed at a vote out ever. Seeing her smiling after Denise played her idols and then the look on her face when her name was on the one vote that counted was great.

I popped so hard at Sandra leaving last night.
Tyson still up to providing us with gold, even at EoE.
Sad to see Parvati go. Seems like a new schoolers game. Denise with a nice move.
Glad to see Kim getting more screen time.
This tribe swap couldn't have suited Yul better.

Will make a good move but always seems to balance it out with risky play. You're right in that when he feels cornered he resorts to quasi-bullying tactics. Really annoyed me two weeks ago when he made everyone dump out their bags. Tyson can be similar. I very much enjoy him but I don't think he can play any looser. Often underestimates everyone.

I'm looking forward to tonight but this season has been suspect to me. It has a generally overly friendly vibe. Judging by the deleted secret scenes CBS has been uploading to YouTube, the editing reflects that.
There's a lot of stuff cut from last week's episode I would've greatly enjoyed on the actual episode, rather than Jeff's million questions during the family visit.

^ Agreed. The episodes really should be 90 minutes.
CBS should have allowed at least this season to be 90 minute episodes every week considering the theme...
As for who was voted out I was sad to see Sophie go. I'm not a super big fan of Jeremy, Michele, or Tony so I would have rather one of them got voted out.
At least the teaser makes it seem like Sarah is not TeamTony anymore...

Tony won me over the last episode 100%. His reaction to the extortion then scrambling for tokens and winning immunity was great tv. Hated to see Sophie go, though.
Funny enough, I couldn’t stand Natalie on her season or in the first episode of this season. But she’s really won me over on the edge.

Tony was amazing this last episode! Being able to pull off every single thing he did was amazing to see!

Last episode was indeed the Tony show.
Michele, Nick and Ben and to a lesser extent Jeremy, seem to be fighting hard for second place.

I'm glad I got my brother into this season since he never watches.
He liked Tyson but now is rooting for Denise.
