I'd imagine he's done unless they offer him the main event win

I don’t think it’ll ever happen and honestly while I liked him I was never a huge fan of his and really wouldn’t care if he did come back. This is exactly how I feel. Exactly.

I'd imagine he's done unless they offer him the main event win That ship sailed. Wrestlemania main event doesn’t have significance to him as it did 7 years ago. He’d come back to be on pre show if paid a ton of money. Seems like Punk doesn’t care if he ever wrestled again. But He does care about $$$.

i was a huge punk mark when he left. i actually thought he'd go wrestle somewhere else, but he didn't. although i still like him, his return isn't something i NEED to see. i'm just happy for the guy being content with life. i will say this though, when he was wrestling, himself and daniel bryan set the standard for workrate in a wwe ring that very few wwe (meaning raw and smackdown) guys can touch. nxt on the otherhand, is capable of doing it on a weekly basis.

Punk might want to get back into the ring. I saw him over the past two days at C2E2 in Chicago and I crap you not, he is ALMOST at the Virgil level of people waiting to meet him. Saturday was INSANE at the McCormick Center and Punk had less than 5 people in his line every time I passed by. He was just in a regular booth sitting on a chair. Dude looks super skinny and almost looks like he is sick. Now I'm sure he isn't and I'm not saying he is. But he did not look good, him and his porno mustache. Granted Punk is almost always at these conventions around here, but yeah, not a lot of people wanting to see him. Down the ways a bit were the AEW guys and they had pretty decent lines. AEW gave away a lot of those canvas drawstring backpacks. I'll have mine on Ebay in a little bit for $100.00. lol just kidding, I'll charge $150

At this point, I think it's better if Punk didn't return. Not because I don't wanna see it, I always liked Punk so of course I wanna see it. But there is no way in hell, that in the age of quick flippy sh't wrestling he could hang. He stuck out back in 2011-2012 because he was a good wrestler amongst mediocre wrestlers. Now he would be a rusty wrestler with a semi-broken body going against incredible wrestlers. He would look severly out of place, his matches would be slow, some would say boring, and he wouldn't live up to the galactic hype people have built around his return.

I was hyped about the prospect of him in AEW because he’d get a chance to not be filtered and it’s his promos that always won me over. but yeah, in terms of where he’d place in the current wwe hemisphere, i don’t think there’s much hype for his return. I don’t think returning through a talk show after two ufc beatings did him much good. his badass days are most likely behind him.

You were the one who said punk would only come back If it’s a main event wrestlemania match & I replied NOT even that would matter. Punk doesn’t care anymore He isn’t coming back as a wrestler unless you over pay the hell out of him.

Not saying you said anything wrong. I just wish the people who make these threads would give it a break.

If he wasn't going to take the AEW deal with CRAZY money and the chance to have a promotion built around him, he's not going to come back at all.

With the four matches announced, the card is already stacked as it is. We already know AJ and Taker is happening too. A Punk return match would get lost in the shuffle. In the unlikely event that he were to come back, I’d save it for Summerslam where it has a higher chance of being the focus.

I have a feeling both sides are waiting on each other. WWE wants Punk to come crawling back, and Punk wants WWE to admit they need him. They're both stubborn. Bingo. I've always felt this is the case but I also feel Punk genuinely isn't that keen so an approach from WWE would likely have to be made to move things along.

I'd like to think that if WWE approached him with a proper retirement story, he'd listen. Maybe one last swan song to go out the right way. I think it's safe to assume a full time return if off the table.

If Im honest Id like to see him have one last dance with Samoa Joe....and him be the guy to send him away. So much history there.
