I've been wanting Taker/AJ for years. It should be Undertaker's best singles match in years

Would have preferred Taker vs Black. Heyman and other backstage officials are high on Black, and he's been heavily protected since he's debuted. There's a story that could work too.
- Undertaker shows up on Raw - Does his Mania talk thing - Lights go out - Taker laid out with Black standing over him - Black sits down, talks about how he's ran through everyone and no one wants to pick a fight with him. Ends with "Undertaker, I. PICK A FIGHT. WITH. YOU!" - Black and Taker have a nice match - Black kicks Taker's head off to win - Black moves on to feud with Drew for the WWE Title

Taker and HHH are two Styles matches I've wanted since his debut so I hope it's true.

I'm just desperate for Undertaker to hang up his boots at this point. I honestly believed he was the kind of wrestler who would care enough about his legacy to leave before it got painful to watch, and I thought his mis-steps in his WrestleMania XXXIII match against Roman were deliberate and part of the story of his retirement - that he could no longer hang with the Big Dog and he was handing over the keys to his yard - but I was sadly mistaken. It's time. Please end it. If he's came this far it would rather him stay until November for his 30th anniversary.

Sounds great until it's a one sided Takers greatest hits. Want to see something like HBK vs Taker, but AJ will be Takers Ziggler, that Goldberg had. You could have said AJ will be Takers Cena from WM 34. Cena got in one move and lost in under 5.

This will be awful. Taker really cant go anymore and he sure cant go with someone that has the pace of AJ. If Taker insists on continuing to wrestle then he needs to just have his brawling, kick-punch-chokeslam type matches.

You know it's crazy, like we were debating Taker retiring in 2012. And a lot of thought 2014 was the end, then 2017. After that one match with Dean Ambrose on SmackDown in 2013, he hasn't been the same IMO. And I think as each year passes it gets harder and harder to watch him. Especially watching his stuff with Cena and Roman, just seeing him bump. However, his one match in 2019 with Roman gave me lots of confidence. And I enjoyed that tag team match and Taker looked really good in the ring. But, I understand it was tag team match. I am still honored and privilege to see Taker perform and it's blessing for kids of this era to see Taker. And I do have some confidence he can put on respectable match with Styles. But I honestly never was like, praying for these two to face off. IDK, like I wouldn't Styles Vs. Edge (I enjoy Edge and Randy program). I think Styles is safe choice though and the two can make it fun somehow. However I am curious if Taker is going out at Survivor Series, this year. Just so he can hit 30.

I would rather see the Sting and Undertaker dream match at Wrestlemania.

Heavily considering going now. Never been to Mania and I’ve always said I’d go to Mania before Taker hung up the boots. I am for sure running out of opportunities

Strange opponents. So many other potential options... How about fiend Vs taker to hand the torch? because Bray isn’t the type of wrestler who could carry taker through a match. the reason for AJ is he’s agile, can oversell anything taker does legitimately, isn’t hard to lift, and is so talented that he’ll literally correct mistakes as he goes that are being made.

Weird pick. I hope Styles gets his working boots on because he's going to have a hell of a carry job on his hands.
I want Styles to get a big time marquee match at Mania that's also good. Jericho was a good start but since then we've gotten him against non wrestler Shane, dial-tone Orton and now old man Taker. Such a shame the Nakamura match didn't live up to the hype.
It's not a weird pick for Taker. If he's going to have a match then Styles is a good pick. It's at least a fresh matchup and Styles can make just about anyone look good. I think it's a weird pick for AJ though.
In all honesty, though I don't want to see it, Undertaker at Mania could still work. He needs to have more matches like his one with Cena. Revert back to Taker of old. Trying to live up to late 2000s Taker is a fool's game.

AJ goes for the forearm for the third time and gets caught, tombstone and 1.2.3 Taker wins. Eh. I'd rather have AJ VS Daniel Bryan or something.

If there is one person on the roster who can get a good match out of The Undertaker at this point in his career, it's AJ.

Man, no for me. I wish he'd just retire -- or stayed retired after the Reigns match. It's just about money at this point. Vince can't move on from Taker and do you blame Taker? I guess not -- as Vince probably just keeps shoving money at him.

LOL'd at "016 and 017" but yeah could still be good. AJ is small and light enough to do most of the work.

It's time. Please end it. Agreed, this 5hit has got to stop. I'm thinking the match will be in between WM26 vs. Shawn Michaels and WM34 vs. John Cena (if we can even say that) where they just hit their big moves and call it a day. Styles will run around Undertaker and will get caught with a tombstone. I'm hoping for a respectably long match - is 10 minutes too much to ask for? It's just weird to me that Undertaker no-showed WM last year for the first time in his career with no explanation but is prepared for a match this year.
