Got to be frustrating for someone like Steve knowing that no matter what they do most people will never be satisfied.
Edit: Not I don’t undertand the frustration behind potentialy finding some of these in retail, but let’s try to focus on the positives.

Got to be frustrating for someone like Steve knowing that no matter what they do most people will never be satisfied. I was ready to be satisfied but nobody can find this stuff in stores so there’s no point in getting hyped for things I’ll never see. It’s a widespread problem that needs to be fixed. If it’s not something the design team can fix (I’m well aware it isn’t, they only design the toys) then they need to figure out who can fix it

Does anyone have a date on that Razor Ramon attire? I wonder if that Undertaker will have swappable grey gloves? Just by looking at it I’m saying it’s WrestleMania XI. Needs white laces though. In an update to my criticism of the white laces, after looking at the reference pics on WWE.com it looks like Mattel got it right with black laces. The IG photo looks like the boots are all blue, but in the ref photo the laces are black which if memory serves was accurate for Mania Xi. Match vs. Double J for the IC strap. Kid dressed like a Chinadoll.

Going in, I figured I'd want UE Becky and E76 Cena. I can pass on both now. I know it couldn't be specifically "Yankees", but I was hoping for some sort of liberty to be taken with Cena's jersey, and it just doesn't pop enough for it to warrant me getting as is. I'll just get the Mania Basic for Becky. From here, I guess I'll still try and get the Fiend, and the Legends Sting unless I can close on the DM '97 one at a decent price prior to this release. Im going to pretend its a Dodgers, Cubs, Twins, Brewers, etc jersey. Some other team with grey/blue.

Every Target in my area got multiple cases of the Network Spotlight figures. I expect the same for Legends to be honest

Loving that Orton. I have been wanting it since Jakks RA series 1 figure went with trunks instead of the shorts. So I am glad for that figure. And the Legends all look great although I thought the Sting was going to be the Crow sting but with the Surfer Sting face paint shape. Either way those are the figures I am planning on getting.

I think Axxess is going to be epic. With legends line now back I think WWE / Mattel will have some surprises only down side is they will be all US exclusives

Wouldn't it be funny if Target gets flooded with the Legends set to NS1 Asuka levels of saturation?

I’ve never seen Wendi or Ricochet Series 1 had multiple re-stocks in my area, and multi-case shipments. But that was during peak holiday buying, so I don't think that's a fair representation. Royal Rumble series was 1 and done at all my stores, and no NS2 has hit this area. If the figures are appropriately stocked, great. But recent history would indicate that Target has scaled back on their orders pretty significantly from where they were a few years ago.

I appreciate what Steve has been able to accomplish in his relatively short time on the line (and also his line of communication here), so I don't like to be too critical. That said, I don't understand Mattel's difficulty in capturing the likenesses of some of the women. The Becky Ultimate heads are much worse than her recent Elite and Basics, and that Lacey is brutal.

The first Network set gave me the false impression that Target was going to have an abundant stock of their exclusives, which is why I didn’t buy the Rumble Macho King the only time I saw it and I’m still upset about it
