Flair vs. McMahon Bischoff vs. Heyman Shane vs. Stephanie If there is another General Manager angle, I'd like to see Stone Cold Steve Austin running Raw, and the Rock running Smackdown. I wouldn't have them on every week, and more than half of their appearances could be via satellite, but when they do show up, at the Big Four, it will be a Big deal.

They would also draw huge ratings, even via satellite. People will always tune in for an Austin or Rock promo.

Hated the Shane vs. Stephanie GM era, they both got involved too much into people's business. Any GM would be good for the show just not Shane or Steph.

I only want GM's back if they're going to be used like Regal in NXT.

Agree with the Regal sentiments if there is going to be an authority figure. The ideal guy is Heyman imo. He's just in a weird place on tv since he's Brock's advocate. So Brock would have to step away or they'd have to maneuver around that situation. I don't think either are realistic right now.
Most weeks it feels like Seth Rollins or Kevin Owens runs Raw, which is kind of weird. I think it's made even stranger because Heyman is in charge of Raw, Triple H is seemingly the boss when you hear anyone talk about stuff backstage, but then Vince is still the boss, boss. I'm not saying WWE needs to explain their corporate structure at TV, but I think some clarity would be good for on-screen purposes. Who is the booker of Raw? I always thought JJ Dillon did a killer job in WCW in that regard, especially playing as a counter point to Bischoff and the NWO.
I don't mind guys calling for matches. But when a guy says, "then let's do this right now!" If a referee runs down the aisle, at least we know Heyman, or whoever, sent them to the ring. Meaning, wrestlers can't just make matches without approval. Because that's not how jobs work. All of this is suspension of disbelief stuff and I think it's a major problem in WWE. In that regard, I think a GM would improve the show. It's a fine line, though. Vince takes reasonable ideas and turns up the dial to a thousand and then we get Michael Cole reading from laptops 6 times a show.
