I don’t understand it but AEW has so much better crowd energy than NXT. Also Cody is a really good booker I don’t care what you say. He just took a no name big man and made me, a guy who doesn’t wanna watch AEW, care a great deal about AEW.

another great episode, loved it from top to bottom. battle royal to start it was good fun. jr has a hard time once you add in that much talent and action going on, but I legit still enjoy his commentary.
highlight of the night was Cobb/Moxley and the moonsault off the cage. fenix’s hurricanrana to the outside on omega was killer too.

Love the crowd! They were hot for everything! Loved Raven being in the crowd! Loved the cage match! Wardlow looks like a member of KroniK and I mean that as a high compliment! Loved the look of the cage too and the Arn spot! Very fun show!

I mean yes, but they’re so vocal. NXT crowds feel like a team of plants. And that’s coming from someone who has always enjoyed NXT. Like I’m just saying that as much as I thought I was going to hate AEW I only dislike the stuff that’s genuinely poorly done which doesn’t happen as often as I expected |

I watch Dynamite later in the week on demand because I'm a total Survivor addict (#sorrynotsorry). I just finished this weeks episode. It was a great show. Had a total PPV feel from start to finish. Some of the pops for the likes of Moxley and Darby were louder than a lot of WWE crowds ever get plus the crowd singing Judas even after the music stopped was a throwback (at least for me) to the old ECW and Sandman's entrance to Metallica. All the wrestling was pretty damn good and the stories are better than some of the crap we get on WWE (can you say Lana/Rusev/Lashley/Liv/weddings are always a bad idea?) Dr. Britt Baker is a far better heel than face and should be a top female star. Hell, give her and Tony a reality show. I'd watch it. Cobb is a great addition to their roster, particularly since he isn't a WWE castaway. Finally seeing Wardlow in the ring was a plus. The roster was slow to build but it actually looks pretty good now.
If this keeps up, 2020 will definitely be the year of AEW.

For everything aew gets right thd battle royal showed the of the things that's wrong with wrestling now. The constant spots and lying around the ring emphasises just how staged and rehearsed wrestling is these days. A battle royal is supposed to be a fight to the finish not a move for move choreographed showcase of flips and spots.
If someone is hanging over why would you all just sit in the opposite side watching them do move after move when you could just walk over and push them off or over. And sorry but watching one of the bucks do a suplex on both santana and ortiz at the same time is as unrealistic as anything so I guess it fit right in. Thank god for the cage match and the rest of the show.
