Any of you guys ever attempted a custom Chris Benoit figure?... if so what the best figure and body to use for it?... and which is the best head?.. I take it the head would need to be from a jakks figure.

The TNF Macho Man body is perfect for Benoit. Some of the DA Benoit heads fit great

The fixup thread is loaded with great ones. There’s a few different recipes, I guess depending on what era you’re going for. Back in the early Mattel days I remember a lot of people just throwing an RA head on a Hart Foundation Brian Pillman. Head was a little big but it was ok. I’ve seen a lot of good ones using the Austin torso, Bulldog torso, and maybe even the Terry Funk torso. More recently I’ve been seeing a lot using the Cena torso for that super jacked Benoit look. Usually the DA head works best as its oddly small for a Jakks figure and it looks good for an intense Benoit later in his career. There’s a TTL head where he’s screaming that has a good size too. It works well for an early 2000s Benoit. I just don’t remember if it needed any modifications to fit. Also, the Pillman/Macho Man type torso works great too.

I just had a custom Benoit done for me by Showstopper Custom Figs, i chose with his WrestleMania 23 attire. As for parts, i went with: - Deluxe Aggression 7 Head (Skin tone matches really well to Mattel) - Steve Austin Torso - Steve Austin Shoulders - John Cena Arms - Elite 20 Christian Legs Here's a pic of the final product. http://instagram.com/p/B8ZOsYWl-x4 |

There aren’t any parts that will work perfectly. The shorter guys in the Mattel line aren’t roided up to the gills like Benoit was, so you either have to make him too tall or not jacked enough.

Legends Ricky Steamboat is perfect for Benoit.
The base from the height to the ripped torso down to the red tights makes it your best bet.

I really hate that Doogie Howser head sculpt. (DA) I used the early 2000’s KB exclusive BCA Benoit head on mine. I wish someone would shrink the Jakks Best Of WCW/ECW Benoit head.

I don't have a pic of mine on this phone, but... the legends Pillman body and legs with Cena arms and one of the RA heads with the beard. Skin tones match great and its ripped enough, if maybe just slightly too tall.
