But we are not in 1990, we are in 2020 Today the Jake is far more rare as evidenced by a search How rare something was 30 years ago is irrelevant when it's easy enough to find now So, your argument is void as well: They were mass produced, just not for the USA - those 3 countries you mentioned have a population of 200 million people Since 1997 (my 1st days on the internet) this is the first Star Toys Jake with molded hair I've seen, during that time I've seen Hasbro WWF Damien with bag at least 30 times. Even know a quick search on auction sites show me zero Star Toys Jake with molded hair, but I do find 3 Hasbro WWF Damiens (2 with bag)... Why are you saying how rare the molded hair one is? I specifically said: I don't think the star toys (regular ones) are as rare as people think / say

You don’t know what numbers they were produced in. Nope I don't you're right. I know I can quite easily get them though as plenty are up for sale therefore not really all that rare since they're 30 odd years old and always available

Double figures - compared to other lines / figures with far less

Double figures - compared to other lines / figures with far less Answer makes no sense. Compared to what? Popy and other extremely rare figures? There being two star toys warriors on eBay doesn’t make it not rare. If there were 50 then you’d have a point. As it stands, you sound foolish.

They are uncommon, but not rare

Being sold in 3 countries doesn't make it mass produced. And WWF/WWE and wrestling as a whole is not as popular in Europe as it is in the US. So I doubt a Spanish wrestling toy would be mass produced.
With this being said, I'm pretty sure that these were available in Portugal too.

They are uncommon, but not rare You’re operating off of a completely arbitrary definition of “rare”. Establish a reasonable criteria eg. rare = less than 25 in circulation. (It doesn’t have to be 25, base it off of an average of whatever 10 figures you accept as rare.) Next you’d need to investigate how many are in circulation. I don’t know of more than 25 people who boast having them in their collection. The 1/20 Mattel warrior figures are universally accepted as “rare” so for there to be as few of these as there are of those, obviously, they too are rare.

I believe that Star Toys released a line of squirt heads. I saw a picture of a bossman squirthead with the same eye color. I think this is a squirt head placed on a star toys. Custom.

Let’s see the picture? Or are you just talking about the auction that was on eBay recently and not giving any details and just making assumptions?

This is a ridiculous find. Don’t let Ryder gets his hands on it. Yeah I saw one of his vlog videos where he found one of these still sealed in plastic in the box. It was Hacksaw...at the end of the video he said I'm going to let it breathe. I just smacked my head. I hope he runs out of money one day. Even if he sells anything later on, it's been opened and lost value and rarity.

Yeah well go buy them opened, some of us are looking for the whole deal sealed. His choice and money, but some of the ones he has opened my jaw drops in horror.
