Since we're kinda just on video games in general, how many people here have tried fire-pro? I've looked at it, and the amount of community content is really exciting to me, but there seem to be so many upgrades that you can easily end up spending $150 or so getting everything to be able to make good use of the creation community. Also, WCW Backstage Assault was really bad, but I think WCW Thunder still gets my vote. I love Fire Pro! I own it on PS4 and PC but have only bought everything on PS4 so far. It does cost a lot for some of the expansion stuff but it's well worth the money, imo.

The first Fire Pro I ever played was SFPWXP on PC emulation, used mainly for making animations, but played some. The last Fire Pro I played was Fire Pro D, for Dreamcast. It was FANTASTIC. The new versions are even better from the looks, but I just play VPW2, when I want to play a wrestling game.

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns and Fire Pro Wrestling World are two of the best pure wrestling video games in the history of gaming.

Well you guys are putting in a good pitch. I love the old school graphics too. Feels very 90s sega RAW, etc. How much of the extra content is needed to access a reasonable amount of the community content? I.e. what's the real startup compared to stuff that can be added over time?

WCW/NWO Revenge still bangs, and looks pretty good through a 4K tv, so long as the TV has strong upscaling, and you know how to reflect 4:3 on your TV.

I have a couple options, I have my 50" 4k upstairs, and a 65" 1080p (and an old school 1080p, it's a projector style lol. One of the early 3dtv models I got off kijiji a few years ago when 3d tv's were basically done being made. Hopefully it would work on one of them.

It depends on the model of TV. I do this... - Composite/RCA, as with a CRT TV. - Set your picture settings to 4:3, and then "Direct," or the setting that takes the true scale output, which prevents the TV from trying to stretch the image to fill the screen. Ideally, you want bars on the sides, and very narrow bars on the top and bottom. - Avoid games with split-screen multiplayer. Wrestling games work, because it is still one image. I will eventually mod my N64 for HDMI, but there are no affordable solutions at this time, unlike with the Gamecube.

My TV doesn't have red/white/yellow, instead it has a single "a/v" hookup you have to buy an adapter for. I purchased 3, still got a "no signal," each time.
I will follow your directions about changing the screen ratio and such. Thank you.

Let’s in goooo I'm going to laugh when it's just a central home to promote the gaming channels of the wrestlers. Then again,

Wow this is great news! Whoever said they enjoyed the PlayStation games more than the n64 ones wow. Those games sucked. They had cool videos for each wrestler that I really did enjoy about the PlayStation ones. I wanna say Scott hall had the one where he’s like a ayo, pick me.

To do it with quality, it'd cost about $235-300, depending on labor. For the N64, avoid converter plugs.
