So this putting Mox off TV for awhile? I could see him back in some capacity next week, but they don’t really NEED him on the show. I’d lean towards him being on the show, but not wrestling for a while. |

Very disappointed in the AEW show tonight. They had okay matches. Jake was cool. MJF promo was solid. I'm okay with Death Triangle, though I like PAC way more then I do Lucha Bros. That said, I was disappointed. AEW actively promoted that Lance Archer would be there tonight. They've since deleted those tweets, but that's not the point. Whether they deleted the tweets or not, they DID advertise on Social Media he would be there. Also, as a wrestling fan, I want to immerse myself in the stories. I want to be treated with respect and told a proper story, start to finish, with no huge holes. WWE has insulted the fans for years and years, AEW was supposed to be different. So, why exactly did Matt Jackson have to come out and square up with Jake Hager? If Nick is not even there, why the hell didn't JR just say.. "oh, the Young Bucks are in North Carolina, so they won't be with us today folks." Please, dear god, keep kayfabe, and protect the continuity of a story that MANY people are anxiously following. Monday, no #FTE but instead Matt Hardy tells us to watch #BTE and stay tuned this week.. later Monday #BTE the Bucks get a phone call from NC.. Wednesday #FTE Bucks show up at Matt's in NC. Why the  would you tell us Nick isn't cleared to wrestle and have Matt run out for literally NO REASON!? At noon today, the "Bucks of Youth," were arriving at the Hardy Compound. Seriously, so disappointed. |

The Jericho thing was a weird swerve considering he ended up holding up his end and Moxley definitely did not qualify as leaving on his own two feet.
I don't see the issue with Matt Jackson showing up though. If he was at the Hardy compound at noon, even noon Colorado time, he could still have easily made a flight down in time for dynamite and left the broken one with Nick. He's an EVP he can afford the last minute flight. It's a 3hr 20 minute flight, leaving him plenty of time to head to the arena get changed and come attack Hagar. Hell he could have come out attacked Jake and hopped right back on a plane back to N.C to read Hardy a bedtime story.
I was really disappointed not to see Archer, but if it was gonna be too tight on time then I'd rather wait and make the debut good, I'm quite excited about him in general.

Either way, with an influx of potential new talent (Archer, Lee, Hardy, ..maybe even Revival, Rusev & Sasha at some point) it'll be interesting to see AEW grow. Probably my fault being too impatient and reading internet rumors that spoil things and create unfair expectations.

Lol I mean I get my version is kind of insane, but the whole purpose of having Matt there was for hangman to flip him off, which was awesome enough to be worth it I think. They did advertise Archer, so it's fair to be upset about that one, but I think all of us on these forums definitely have some unfair expectations from dirt sheets etc. That said Jake was a very welcome surprise given what he can bring to the table, and one I didn't hear a sniff of anywhere. |

The way legends have been used (DDP, Arn, Tully, Jake, Bret, Virgil) has been beyond perfect so far. Hoping they continue this excellent trend.

Very okay episode for me tonight. Expected more after their big PPV. Thought it was odd having MJF on so little. I LOVED Jake Roberts's promo! My gosh can that man cut a promo! Good TV win for Big Swole, she needed that! The after-main event shenanigans were fun. Loved Mox fighting back but still getting taken out. Overall just an okay show for me. Nothing horrible, but Jake Roberts was the only thing I loved about the show.

I was at the show live, and it was lots of fun. My first live show in a while, and my first AEW show.
It is amazing how over the singing along with Jericho's theme is. People were talking about it waiting in line to get in the arena.
There were lots of people chanting "delete, delete" during the Dark Order/SCU & Colt match, but I just didn't think Hardy would show up during this show.
I was right next to the portal, in the aisle seat, where Moxley came out for the main event. He went down the opposite side of the stairs from me though. It was still kind of exciting having him come out right there though.
I was really glad to see so many wrestlers live for the first time. I really enjoyed the show, and I can't wait to get home to watch it on TV to see how it looked.
I paid for the meet and greet before the show. I got to meet SCU and Nyla Rose. SCU were cool, not too talkative, but fun. Scorpio Sky was all sorts of energetic. He has lots of charisma. Nyla was very nice and seemed to appreciate everyone who came to meet her.

Kind of a floppy episode for me. The mox promo thing was pretty generic and the 30/60 day thing or whatever I get since fozzy is about to go on tour and it will be an excuse for jericho to take some time off but the main event was just kinda meh...
PAC/taylor match was pretty good, although why the hell do we need another faction in AEW? I mean jesus we already have enough, dark order, inner circle, the elite, SCU, Best friends, jungle express. PAC was badass alone and should of stayed that way.
I know AEW is pushing tag team wrestling but it gets boring to me after awhile, why can't there be a healthy mix? Some of their cards are all tag matches and it just gets in the way of building rivalry stories.
I can't be a fan of swole, not sure why they had to squash leva in that match.
Lance archer would of been a great announcement tonight, I for sure thought he was going to be the tag team partner for shawn spears which is a very lame and dragged out story line.
Jake the snake was an unpredictable surprise and that is what I am starting to like about AEW, you never know who could show up next. I'm thinking his client will be brodie lee which will be awesome! I'm hoping he goes back to his old gimmick before his WWE days and excels in the singles division. Maybe even feuding with mox again!
Thought for sure hardy would of showed up but I guess its still a little early. The exalted one is getting dragged out too but I guess it keeps things going. I think matt is the best fit for it at the moment considering all the people showing up at the same time. Although I would still accept raven for this role!
Guess I'll wait and see what happens. Can't have all 5 star shows I guess.

I gotta wonder if it's a lot of their background in NJPW that's lead to the amount of multi person tag matches, and using them as ways to fuel stories. Having Mox-Jericho and Sami-Darby rematch in a semi random tag match is pretty much the NJPW equivalent of run the football up the middle. The Shawn Spears thing has kinda run it's course for me too, but it seems like they're actually gonna go somewhere cool with it and have it be an actual indie-scouting thing to find someone new for him, which is a really neat idea. Just need to change the finish from Spears always walking out. Very much a builder show. Revolution finished/temporarily finished a lot of major arcs, this felt like the beginning of a lot of new lines towards DoN. |

I thought Dynamite was going to suck when I saw the matches, but this was actually a really fun watch start to finish.
It reminded me of New Year's Dash where it's a lot of decent matches but it sets up where the promotion is going next.

Her dancing and stuff, is just her having some fun. She's felling "it," when she's out there. As far as being "Big Swole," for a chick.. she's pretty cut and she has a "swole," or "big" personality. We just might not have seen it on TV so much yet, hopefully we can.
I really just long for the day that Cedric Alexander can join her in AEW. I think it'd help BOTH of them, to be paired on-screen together.
That said, anyone else find it hilarious that both Big Swole & Cedric Alexander both have the same EXACT logos and style of gear, just a mens/womens version respectively?

Did anyone else hear Kientai say "EVIL" in their heads when Death Triangle became a thing? I do heavily look forward to the demise of the group for the singles rivalry matches between those 3 psychopaths. By god he bit the ear of the orange-one....
