I'm kind of hoping that what WWE are doing will inspire football to start playing games behind closed doors, even if they have to move to a much smaller stadium (large stadiums require more safety staff who must be present in case of a fire or emergency.) I want to see the Premier League and Champions League resolved and it seems like this is the only possible way. As long as no players have the virus, just stick them in a 2,000 capacity ground instead of Old Trafford or whatever. Televise all the games and this will help keep Brits at home to watch it instead of wandering around shopping centres buying pants and getting haircuts they don't need when they've been told to stay at home.

Maybe it’s just me being stupid, but would it be possible to have a holographic crowd? I would rather have some kind of people in the crowd even if it’s not real.

You just know that Vince has had that tech sitting in the back so he can try to control everything even further. Now is the perfect time to break it out.😉 lol

It's so easy to crap on the wwe these days and that stuff with that Gronk dude is legit some of the worst TV I have seen. However, I do appreciate how hard everyone at the WWE is working to give us fans some new content to watch each week. It's not the best, but I really do not see what else they could do As much as I think Wrestlemania will be a complete dud, I still appreciate the company offering a diversion. Even bad wrestling is welcome in the world where TV shows and sports have been shut down.

Well it looks like Dolph Ziggler is finally getting a one on one match at WM... probably for the first and last time.

How on Earth can they justify giving Tamina a Wrestlemania match? Ugh. I assume the original plan was to shift to Sasha vs Bayley, but with Sasha missing so much time. They switched it up. But good god... Tamina!?

How the hell is the state of Florida not on lock down yet? There’s so many spring breakers down there right now I can’t believe no one has stepped in yet.

Since they aren't doing battle royals alot of the talent won't be on WrestleMania. This is gonna be a ing weird show this year. This how I would schedule both nights Night 1 Universal Championship Goldberg Vs. Roman Reigns John Cena Vs. The Fiend Bray Wyatt SmackDown Women's Championship 6 Pack Elimination Match Bayley Vs. Sasha Banks Vs. Lacey Evans Vs. Naomi Vs. Dana Brooke Vs. Tamina Last Man Standing Match Edge Vs. Randy Orton SmackDown Tag Team Championship The Miz & John Morrison Vs. TBA King Corbin Vs. Elias 2 other matches Night 2 WWE Championship Brock Lesnar Vs. Drew McIntyre Raw Women's Championship Becky Lynch Vs. Shayna Baszler NXT Women's Championship Rhea Ripley Vs. Charlotte Flair Undertaker Vs. AJ Styles Seth Rollins Vs. Kevin Owens 3 other matches

With the format being what it is, I say keep it simple and go with the "less is more" philosophy this year. I think 4-5 matches a night would be ideal. And just stick to the bigger marque matches. Don't start anymore stories or shoehorn in any more matches until this whole thing is over.

Is anyone even really going to watch this? I had tickets to Mania originally but after the first empty arena show I havent bothered to tune in again. Its just beyond awful. Even bad creative/writing cant get me to turn wrestling off but this has. At least AEW put a handful of people in their crowd to help entertain during the show.

I feel really bad for NXT. Aside from Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley, what else is there to represent this particular brand? Are they still even doing the Takeover event?
Like 99% of the time, NXT Takeover PPV’s eclipse the following nights major WWE PPV, including Wrestlemania, in my opinion, at least from storytelling, and an athletic standpoint.
Imagine the Undisputed Era, Keith Lee, Finn Balor, Tommy Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Pete Dunn, Matt Riddle, more NXT women, Imperium, etc. not getting any airtime, when they’re the ones that put on better matches than the other two brands.

Amazing how much more watchable AEW was than the empty-arena WWE shows.
Aside from some of the locker room in the seats, the camera angle and setup AEW used made a huge difference.
We know the seats are empty. No need to highlight this and remind us every second. As a background to the main camera angle it should be the stage, whether a screen, ship or whatever. Just not more empty seats!

I agreed with this viewpoint at first, but recent developments have changed my mind. I've heard epidemiologists say that the flattening of the curve could take months, and that there could be more than one wave. This virus could result in sparse attendance for fall sports and fall events. WWE could have postponed this until September and still be faced with a similar, if not the same, complications of holding an event. They might as well do this now rather than putting their entire schedule in flux.
