There is also an image of the TTL era Linda in a black & white version of the suit. The image isn't working over in the Jakks section, but I've messaged the guy who owns her. It was possibly from the McMahon Family box set...or the cancelled RSC exclusive version. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/346402/presenting-rarest-jakks-figure-time In the family divided box set, why does it look like the figure in the bottom row between The Rock & the red chair is headless?? Is that supposed to be Vince? They mention the box set around the 16min mark in this video: TRU didn't want it as it was too large.

I'm fairly certain it did. I never really collected Vince back then, mostly just Shane and Steph, but I'm about 99% certain that Vince got released at some point. I can't get a good enough look at the Shane and Steph figures, but I believe the Steph figure is just a repaint of either the red shirt Smackdown figure, or the metallic purple shirt one (RotR? I can't remember). The Shane figure looks very much like a repainted version of the RAW X Anniversary figure. Now, I believe that technically the box set was set to come out before the RAW X figure did (I could be wrong, it was about 20 years ago, my memory is foggy) but the lowdown is that the only truly original McMahon figure in that set was Linda. The rest were either repaints or released elsewhere.

Yeah the box set was a TTL item from around 2000ish, Raw X Anniversary was after the name change and I think those figures were RAs

This box set was supposed to come out at least two years prior to the RAW X set. Yeah the box set was a TTL item from around 2000ish, Raw X Anniversary was after the name change and I think those figures were RAs I figured it was. I think I wasn't exactly clear. When I said "Repaints" I meant that, other than Linda, the figures were either repaints, repainted and/or released elsewhere. Like I said, I think Stephanie was a repaint of an existing figure, and Shane, while perhaps not strictly repainted, was almost identical to the RAW X figure. It's the same headsculpt and same painted-on shirt. The difference is that they painted his "Shane O Mac" logo on the RAW X figure. If I Recall, the first figure with an overshirt piece came in the "Renegades" set, along with Raven and Stone Cold. Then there's also the super-weird shirtless figure that I believe also came in a three pack. I never understood why they released that figure when the man always seemed allergic to being shirtless.

I was trying to remember the first time I saw the Linda figure. I knew it was on the back on a wrestling ring box. A bit of searching & I see it was the 2001 Hardcore Action ring. I looked for her figure for ages. I can't find any evidence that a 'Linda McMahons Revenge' ring gear set was ever released. I've never seen that before!

Right, I have a grainy image of the black & white Linda that might have been the RSC exclusive (that was replaced with Kane) or from one of the McMahon sets. Here we have all the Linda figures we would have had....if not for Linda McMahon herself Black & white Linda mentioned in this video: And this thread: forum.wrestlingfigs.com/thread/346402/presenting-rarest-jakks-figure-time

But, in reality, I likely would have felt compelled to repaint it. I know I know, why on earth would I do that??? But honestly, the roses on that jacket are far far too big. It's... kinda ugly actually. (The jacket, not the entire figure.) And it smacks of TTL, if you ask me. I'll stick to the custom I'm making with the correctly sized roses. I just need to scrape together enough pennies for that Warsman head. EDIT: I take that back. The longer I look at that center prototype, the worse it looks. The hair is YELLOW! not blonde, and the makeup is applied far too heavy. Yeah, I'll just make my own.

If we ever got one, Mattel would most likely give her ginger hair, anyway.

Up the page I mentioned Linda was going to be an RSC exclusive. It was ACG, not RSC. Yeah, he's a guy that 3D prints figure heads. One of his options is a Linda head. You can google him, he has all sorts of choices including I believe two different Owens. Thanks for the info. His Linda head is pretty good. Have a better image of black & white Linda from a video

Out of all of the prototypes of her figures, she always manages to have them never see a release
