According to Bulldog’s daughter on Instagram - they’re looking potentially at coinciding with SummerSlam.

At least they are not going to have it in an empty building.

At least they are not going to have it in an empty building. I would’ve preferred that or atleast have the wrestlers in attendance like how they used it. The HOF is unbearable to watch since they started letting fans attend 🤮

Honestly, I think I would have been kind of ok with just holding it in an empty building...but obviously having everyone in the company sitting shoulder to shoulder in rows isn't a smart idea right now.

Not a big deal. Until there's a physical WWE Hall of Fame it means nothing.

If the WWE Hall of Fame is going to be in the summer I would do on SumnmerSlaam weekend.
Thursday: Hall of Fame Friday: SmackDown Saturday: NXT Takeover Sunday: SummerSlam

The HOF is unbearable to watch since they started letting fans attend 🤮 Oh man, I so preferred the format when they brought back the Hall of Fame. With the smaller audience made up of guests of each of the inductees as well as other wrestlers and other people in the business just made it feel more important, instead of an arena full of fans. I also loved how all the wrestlers being inducted would sit at the tables on stage, with whoever was inducting them. It's just a shame they wouldn't go back to that, but of course they won't because the reason for the current format, is so they can sell a bunch of tickets to fans. Kinda the same thing with the Slammys. When they brought them back in the modern era, and just had it as part of Raw, it sucked. When they treated it like an actual award show, it was so much more entertaining.

Makes sense. Even if they wanted to do it in an empty building, Liger wouldn't be able to fly out for it. The Bellas are pregnant and wouldn't want to risk flying out there just for that.

When I was looking into getting tickets on ticketmaster they had the seating chart setup with the ring like last year. I personally am not a fan of it because they have their backs to half the crowd but it’s a nice visual on tv.

Good. It should only happen with an audience with fans cheering and praising them
I'm happy they made the right decision to postpone

Good. It should only happen with an audience with fans cheering and praising themI'm happy they made the right decision to postpone Except, they don’t. The fans completely take over and ruin it, we don’t need speeches paused for a minute or 2 due to “you still got it”, “thank you _______” or “one more match” chants. Even Jericho complained about how the fans ruined HOF a few years ago, the old intimate format was so much better and more respectful.

Yea I’m so over that annoying generic clapping chant that they do every 5 minutes.

Fans used to do it in the old format too, and wrestlers would stop their speech for those cheers and chants. The only difference now with the audience is them having more of a "takeover" mindset. They try to take over the show whenever someone does a promo too. That's nothing really new. I dont mind it since the wrestlers seem to love the praise, themselves. It's they're Hall of Fame to enjoy, "take it all in mAaaaaann!"
