Good on Roman Reigns for thinking about his health first!
And good on the WWE for allowing Roman to not be in the match.
Now this is the perfect time to for Dean Ambrose to come back from injury and wrestle Goldberg!! He's been out of action for close to a year now, even though some look-a-like named Moxley is wrestling in AEW, HA! Like that will work.

They should have just postponed the show. Good for Roman for looking out for his health first, and I hope others do the same, but I doubt it with the money Vince is throwing around. This mania is gonna be a train wreck.

It's kind if absurd he had to pull himself out, did no one on the medical team or backstage not think about his leukemia while all this is going on? Sad that as much stock theyve put in him, hes just another cog in the machine.

Have Bray beat Oldberg on Smackdown, Bray vs Cena then is for the title. Which should have been the case anyway. No need to see the old man with the title or have a match at Mania now that Roman isn't wrestling.

I had just watched their tease at the 2018 HOF last night. I wonder how they settled this. With the Mayor of Orlando issuing a Shelter-in-Place order starting tonight, any substitute would have had no notice.
Also, why focus on those who've been out of the country? Sh*t's been here long before quarantining and shutdowns were taking place.

....am I the only one thinking that he might get punished for this? Of course they honored it, he’s been in remission for a year and is immunocompromised, but I’m sure Vince is pissed. It sounds outrageous during these unprecedented times but you never know with Vince

That's some crazy s***. But all in all, it's probably the right decision.
Don't replace him. Don't shoehorn someone else in there. Just let Goldberg keep the title till things get back to normal.

Maybe not outright punished, but perhaps this leads to Vince backing off on Roman's incessant push as the top guy. This would not be the first time he has missed his shot or forced plans to change, and Vince HATES that. |

well, that’s interesting. they can easily just throw someone else at Goldberg for an easy 5 minute match, which i see being the likely route.

Hogan might end up getting that final match afterall... Seriously though when I read that, my initial thought was 'good for you, brother'. Even if Wrestlemania was going on as planned at this point it's not worth compromising health. I'm not a Reigns fan in terms of wrestling, but as a man I'm inspired by his return story. Cancel....the  ing......show. Seriously this is going to be the biggest dumpster fire since December to Dismember. The only Wrestlemania moment is the fact that there's nobody there. You can have the matches, but Wrestlemania is D.O.A. Nothing will save it. I haven't gotten through a single WWE COVID show yet. If conditions are so bad that they can't even keep people on the show its a lost cause. |
