Maybe it slid under the radar but as of this month, Drakz passed two years for his current world title reign. Thought that achievement was worth at least a mention. Grats bud. I'm too lazy to do the math and tally up how many days he's held the title in total but it has to be around two thousand. Impressive. With the days I could find on the championship history, its 1711

If there was an exact date on that first reign it would obviously be more

Thanks for the heads up brother! My ego has now forced me to do that tallying up. Just shy of 2000 total. 1894(ish) as there's no solid date for when my first reign in 06 ended with that 1st vacancy. Also my title history is pretty weird in that I've vacated the belt twice, both times were because I'd become owner, and didn't have time to be an active writer as well as run the fed. Josh beat me in kayfabe, but actually the only person to ever beat me for the WFWF World Heavyweight Championship is veronicaaaahhhh 2 years ago. Looking back at the title history really makes me regret that extended hiatus I took between '07 and '11, as I missed out on what looked to be a great few years of activity. I'm at least happy I decided to revisit the WFWF in 2011, thanks to a message from Kyzer, as everything that came after that far exceeded my first run here. I had to take a year out around '13/'14 as I was travelling around Asia, but this current run has been my longest period of activity. 7 years with no breaks now, though again Drakz disappeared as an active character for a while whilst I was owner for the 2nd time. Here's a depressing stat for you all. In the last 6.5 years, Drakz has been champion 4.7 of them. Soz.

Before I came back and looked at the title history I just assumed Drakz was the champion from 2014-2020.

So what's up with the apparent deletion of that one post that was an archive of all the WFWF's past results (which had the cards and winners stretching back to like 2004)? Did owners just not update it enough or was it one of the causalities of declaring history irrelevant like when the Hall of Fame got deleted because Kyzer got mad he had to be in it with CBT?

It was very out of date last time I saw it but I didn't realise it had been deleted!?

Credit where credit is due - Kyzer didn't delete the Hall of Fame. I did. And the past results thread is still there.EDIT because why not, talkin' shop is fun: The Hall of Fame debacle is easily the most misinterpreted things to have occurred during my brief tenure at the helm. To this day, it still blows my mind how poorly it was interpreted, in spite of King Richius and myself all but breaking out the dolls to try and explain what was going to happen. It was like the world's worst game of telephone, where you tell six friends, and then a seventh guy on the fringe goes and tells eight friends who'd since moved to different parts of the country. Once we dropped the matter, I spent the next couple of months simultaneously amusing myself and proving that the HOF, in its current state, was useless and overlooked by routinely adding names to the list like Andrew Carter, secondary characters created by Dex and Demento during their heydays, The Sovereignty, and then moved on to completely made up names like Dan Dweezil the Bol Weevil. Nobody noticed, nor did anyone actually notice when I finally just deleted the thread entirely until it was pointed out by one of the parties that already knew.

wait wait, was that the real reason the HoF was deleted. Because that is kind of hilarious if it was.

The old HoF was almost universally disliked (or at the least blatantly ignored) and yet any proposed changes were met with equal disdain. "We hate it but don't you dare change it." I wash my hands of the whole thing and consider the revamp attempt to be the biggest failure of my tenure as co-owner.

i will humbly concede I did not look very hard for the past results thread So what's up with the apparent deletion of that one post that was an archive of all the WFWF's past results (which had the cards and winners stretching back to like 2004)? As funny as I find all that and believe me I do, I dunno if that proves your point about people not caring about it as much as it is just a confirmation that people aren't going to periodically check it without having a reason to. Presumably if you were going to add a bunch of joke inductees you'd want to announce that they were going in at some point, otherwise it stands to reason the thread wouldn't be updated from the last time they checked it out. That'd be like if I pointed out I updated my bio six months ago to say I held the WFWF World Title for the duration of 2016 and no one has said anything. Unless you did announce they were going in and people would reply in earnest talking them up and how they were worthy, in which case please link me because it's recently been established I can't find things. Also for the record, I agree with a lot of what you said regarding the HOF and how it was just a list of names and no small bio or criteria indicating what they did to put them there, but incredibly wasted potential to go to the effort of trolling it and then deleting it so no one could enjoy your exploits (IE: me).

The trolling at that point was just to brighten my own spirits. I'd highly recommend anybody who gets offered the gig not take the helm of this place, because it sucked all the joy out of it for me (and not just the Hall of Fame aspect). Really, I was chasing any and everything that could make me laugh at that point - even if it was just for me. If it were to happen today, I'd have told anyone who looked at me cross-eyed over to f*ck themselves and done it anyway, because they'd have looked stupid as sh*t when it all went down and nobody got evicted from the sacred list. Alas, at the time, I really wanted the place to thrive, and it was easier to concede failure and just put it out to pasture. I'd love to see somebody take another crack at it, if only to see if the same long-forgotten faces come out of the woodwork again to defend their place in a nondescript list of long-forgotten (and in some cases, rightfully forgotten) names.

My time as owner wasnt as bleak, but I definitely can grasp how it takes the fun out of it. But then again it was alot different at that time. I was younger and had the time etc. nowadays I would tell you take it and shove it somewhere lol

wait wait, was that the real reason the HoF was deleted. Because that is kind of hilarious if it was. It's the extremely TL;DR version, but the longer winded version is that King Richius and I were doing a complete overhaul of the information pages that hadn't been touched since Ace Bennett had been owner, and we wanted to give the HOF a proper touch up that would a) wake it TF up and get it moving again, b) put some respeck on the "institution" as it already stood, and c) actually make it feel like something worth looking at if you were new to the site or even seasoned and looking to brush up on the past a bit. The plan, in spite of whatever narrative got passed around the old folks home and sent a ton of retirees charging in to defend their "spot", was to establish the entire list, from Alex Sean to ZMaster and every CBT, Goober, and Justun Stoppable in between as a "Legacy Wing". We had plans to dig as deep as we could to give everyone on that list a brief "bronze plaque's" worth of a write-up with the briefest of brief disclaimers explaining the inconsistency and overall neglect of the HOF as the reason for the doubled-winged honorarium. From there, it would be HOF business as usual...a regular ballot, culled from both guys who'd made their mark since the HOF was last addressed and names from the Legacy Wing who would become eligible for a more grandiose induction consistent with what we wanted to do going forward. There'd be a group of seasoned, active-ish vets who'd be voting anonymously, with the end result being something a bit more consistent and desirable than "hey, owner xyz really liked you, so here's your name on a list". But, yeah. Somehow within the window of less than a week, it somehow got spun into "Kyzer is working Brennan like a puppet from the sidelines and Brennan is just doing his bidding", with the sole piece of supporting evidence to this narrative being Kyzer, in vocally supporting our "should we kinda restructure this thing without any specific detail laid out just yet" poll, saying something to the effect of "scrap the whole thing because wrestler x, writer y, and this guy z sucked". And that, boys and girls, is the story of how wf member SYE decided he would never helm and e-fed as long as he lived and began his steep, violent tumble down the hill of never wanting to even write for one again.
