Didn't everyone say WWE would butcher AJ Styles too? overall yes I would say in comparison to what he was beforehand that wwe neutered him. i don’t know any talent that could sustain in their current environment. Daniel bryan's been booked strongly

Randy is right again. They didn’t want to push Bryan... finally he got the big payoff winning the 3 way at mania. But they weren’t going to do it until fans rioted and it was ill timed and poorly done. The WWE is tone deaf. They ruin good things

With Omega’s status as a wrestler and EVP for AEW, no I don’t see him going anywhere with AEW having the success it has had so far. I think he has interest in wrestling a select few guys, such as Styles and Rollins for example, but he had his opportunity to give WWE a shot and stuck with his friends.

Pretty good by WWE standards if you ask me daniel’s treatment is actually what made me stop watching WWE consistently. they insulted Daniel, the fans, and wrestling itself. it’s turned into an absolute circus. you think mox just sells it as a terrible time for fun or to get over? why would omega have any interest in that toxic of an environment when he’s built a successful life outside it?

I'd like this thread to return to being about Omega....but I will say this, if Bryan Danielson shows up in AEW all of the WWE defenders will look really stupid when they see how he is booked by an actual wrestling promotion.

I agree, but all wrestlers surely have their dream matches - I just think in Omega's case he would rather stick around with his mates for the time being and create a part of wrestling history.

WWE would be booking him way worse than AEW has. He made the right pick between the two. Omega is saving himself physically and gets to book an entire division in AEW. IT's hard to fault him for picking AEW.

Omega is also EVP of AEW and will probably run the womens division when he retires from the ring. Unless AEW folds these guys (besides Jericho) arent going to WWE. You cant compare how they have treated AJ or Daniel Bryan to how they would treat guys who tried to start the competition. WWE doesnt hate NJPW or PWG or ROH as much as they hate AEW and WCW.

The Elite guys in WWE would be so, so bad. People don't seem to understand that. I still think Kenny would go back to Japan, but given his relationship with NJPW, DDT might make more sense.
