Typically when they do the reveal events like this, the first day is the big one and the next few days have minimal additions so idk why people are mad they did it this way.

Ricochet and Braun are cool. Roman isn’t too bad because you can make it into an attire that was only released as a basic (like the orange gear he had in 2016, need to track that basic down for the head vest and arms). But the Seth just sucks. He’s got so much cool gear and this is what you go with? This is a galaxy brain choice that I can’t understand.
As someone else said, why are the figures that are going to be on shelves longer getting the boring color choices?

I remember a few years back when they revealed Hogan, Sting and Razor and there were people on this site unhappy, complaining about divas etc.
The reveals after day 1 did nothing for me. But I don't care because the day 1 stuff was so good. Sure, they could have spaced them out, but does that really matter? Hogan, Superstar, Valentine, Jake, Mr. Wonderful, Miss Elizabeth, Razor, Warrior. All Huge. That glow in the dark MOTU Taker looked money too.
I think this has been one of the best reveals ever.

5 days of reveals and nothing shown I will be buying. I plan to get Mike Kanellis but they didn't show it.
Noam Dar debut on Raw in Nov 2016 he has wrestled on PPVs and still hasn't even gotten a basic. He is the last of the 205 Live originals that hasn't gotten a figure and my #1 want. Mattel please make a Noam Dar figure.

This place has collectors spread across 36+ years, all looking for something different out of this line. Some people only collect Golden Age, some Attitude, some just women or current roster, and others collect stuff from throughout WWE history. Just because you're excited by what they showed off on Day 1, doesn't mean that stuff is exciting to everyone.
I really couldn't give any less of a sh*t about Superstar Billy Graham or Greg Valentine. We've also gotten plenty of versions of Jake Roberts and Rick Rude. So while I'm personally going to buy more of those guys, we're already set with those characters in some people's eyes. I'm extremely happy to see that Hogan is back and we're getting Hollywood. But, hypothetically, if I started watching around 2003, I probably don't care about that figure and want an entirely different version of him.
If you hate something, please continue to share your opinion. I prefer reading your negative opinion about figures 10 times out of 10 over people complaining about other people complaining.

I'll probably get TT RIC and Braun since I've been wanting one of his cloth shirts for a while. Why couldn't that Seth attire take place of one featured in the poll lol

You’re complaining about complaining about complaining. This was the best showing they’ve ever done since the very first one at SDCC 2010 and they had something for almost every demographic. Some people will just never be pleased I guess

Whole thing was A+ 100% would definitely watch again, even though I didn’t really care about anything after day 1. Will get the Ricochet for my son though. I think if they had saved Hogan for today most people wouldn’t be complaining right now though.

Some people will just never be pleased I guess Reaffirming your entirely subjective opinion doesn’t make it any less subjective. You literally can’t say there was “something for everyone” when you hold one opinion. That’s a fallacy predicated on the idea you have any semblance of what “everyone” wants. That said, I’m happy you liked what you saw. I thought it was a quality stretch of reveals, albeit not one of my very favorites.

I see what what you’re saying in the sense that you can’t say they showed something for literally every collector. However, Mattel had at least something here for pre-expansion, Golden Era, New Generation, Attitude/late 90s, Ruthless Aggression, early 2010s, and modern era fan. I kind of feel like that has to be classed as a successful reveal, even if the specific figures aren’t to someone’s specific desires for talent.

I can, somewhat, objectively say something was a good reveal relative to previous reveals, but still be unhappy with the figures that were actually shown. I don’t expect people to be excited for figures they’re not going to buy, though. That’s what it comes down to for each individual. Did Mattel show enough figures I potentially want to buy? It’s a simple yes or no and I’m sure plenty of people feel the answer is a no. The doesn’t offend me even if I’m a yes.

Nothing for me. I assume we've seen most Elites for 2020...so maybe 2021 will be the year of WCW titles.
