Please do not ignore this... I really need advice on what to do with this figure. I spent A LOT of money on it. Anyone who helps me will recieve Karma.
Today I recieved a very odd finding which arrived in the mail from an ebay auction. I don't know whether or not to hang on to this thing (I was planning on selling it one day any way) or demand a refund.
It is this figure I recieved:
www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=78061
The regular versions came with BLACK OIL eyes, and the eyes could change normal with heat. However, the one I just recieved appears to be ONE OF A KIND... an error figure.
These figures are RARE RARE as it is - Only 500 were made. They currently sell on ebay for $120-$200. I expect prices to rise much higher one day. It was EXCLUSIVE to Sideshow collectibles.
I own two more of these figures.... both are loose. All of them come in the package with their eyes BLACK. But when I recieved this new one today, his eyes were not black. I was very suspicious that the figure had been loose and damaged, so I opened the box and slided the figure out without removing his twist ties. It does not appear that he had ever been removed from his package. Not only that, but I tried changing his eyes from normal to black, and they DO NOT change AT ALL.
This means that this is indeed an error figure, of an already scarace figure.
Here's a pic of how the figure should look in package:

(note: the eyes are black)
Here's a pic of how mine came:

(note: the eyes are normal)
Please also note that the figure's packaging is identical to the non-errors.
If I were to sell this puppy one day, could I expect to recieve more or less than what the non-error figures sell for? Or could I expect to recieve about the same?
Please, please, give me an answer, and I percentage of how sure you are that you are right.
Thanks!!!!!!
