They should have saved that for next week. Announce it early in the show and hype it for almost 3 hours. End the show with the champion standing tall.
Besides that weird part, I thought it was a fairly decent empty building RAW. Especially Black vs Apollo. And I like the team of Cedric and Ricochet. Bianca with the Profits should be a nice addition.

Props to Vince McMahon for working us!! I can easily say that 99% of us thought after seeing Show, a referee and Drew accepting the match that Drew was gonna drop the belt to Big Show. The one wrestler we all groan at with sadness when he appears, especially as a heel.
Drew toppled Lesnar and then 20 minutes later topples Show. Amazing!

Drew McIntyre loses the title to Roman Reigns at Summerslam. Bill Goldberg comes back and challenges Roman Reigns to a match at Wrestlemania.

Why in the world did they film Big Show vs McIntyre for Mania?!?

I don't really follow or watch wrestling, but I tuned in to see what would be the main event slot of the post raw mania...which is usually the best/most important WrestleMania of the year...and I know they were limited in what they could do but...man was that moronic.
First of all, I don't understand this need to "pretend" that was after WrestleMania. It's filmed, we know they did it the next day or something of that nature, not seeing it contemporaneously didn't really give the desired effect of "Drew is a tough, fighting champion." Also the dialogue and Big Show's motive was stupid - McIntrye is like a 6-4 or 6-5 totally jacked and shredded beast...who won the rumble and beat brock...he's legit. Beating a thinned out, 48-year old 20-years past his prime, part timer after just beating one of the legit best athletes in the world is a cake walk.
Like others have said this should've been hyped from slot 1 or something. Another issue I had is how McIntrye looked almost as big as Big Show.

That wasnt the least bit enjoyable or entertaining.

I don't know why they continue with Morgan... She has no upside, whatsoever.

I am going to say Big Show was put in that match so there’d be some hype/talk about him yesterday to coincide with the debut of his “The Big Show Show” on NetFlix yesterday.
The issue I have with that is he’s supposed to be a lovable goofball on the show yet they bring him back to the ring as a heel. He should have done something else for WrestleMania when he was more like his character on the Netflix show. Maybe the host after Gronk left instead of Titus. And then he could have plugged the show as well.

I don't know why they continue with Morgan... She has no upside, whatsoever. She is certainly pleasing on the eyes. Well, mine anyway. She wasn't my favorite when she was with the Riott Squad, but since she's come back? Yeah, I'm digging the vibe she's got going on.

The only thing that I'm worried about is that they're going to push Drew too much and fans will eventually hate it. Basically the same thing that caused them to turn on all the top faces.
Having Drew (or anyone) defeat the OC 2 on 1 was a bit much. Having Drew beat Lesnar and Big Show may have been a tad overboard. I want Drew to have a good lengthy run, but no need to go from 0-80 in seconds.
Personally I would have had Drew start the show next week. Have Show come out and challenge him in the main event. Hype the match for the rest of the show. Air clips on some of Big Show's greatest accomplishments throughout the show. Hell even air clips of his new Netflix show to really drive it home. Then in the main event, have Drew kick his head clean off. Big win, big statement.

I'll never forgive WWE for wasting years of Uhaa's career. Apollo Crews should be a main event guy...wtf?!?

I don't see the fans turning on Drew McIntyre like they did with Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. Let's not forget, the backlash towards Roman was he was thrusted into the position when the fans wanted Daniel Bryan. The WWE saved face by having Seth Rollins cashing his Money In The Bank contract at WrestleMania XXXI. A moment I saw coming for months. What got Seth Rollins from being a baby to a heel was all the garbage he kept on spewing in interviews/social media. Completely different from Roman Reigns. Braun Strowman and Drew McIntyre should be long term champions.

At the time I was watching with my childhood friend's Johnny and Mandy's at their house across town as before they were always over at MY house watching Mania before they moved and when they moved we wanted to keep that as a thing (We did it as a thing until after 10 they moved to California), and I loved it. It was one of those memorable nights in my Childhood so I should have remembered it.

That might have actually got me to watch that show of his.😄 lol

I really hope that somehow the Monday Night Messiah resurrects AJ Styles leading to the end of the OC, a tag run with Rollins, and a feud with Murphy because of Murphy turning on the faction over jealousy or envy that Rollins trusted Styles over him.
