I am a huge fan of The British Bulldogs tag team, and I have been looking for a WWF Matilda Plush/soft toy for over 3 years. There is one on ebay that has been up for sale for 3+ years, mainly because its extremely overpriced at around £2000, and its missing its tag. When you read the ad it states they arent bothered about selling it and just want to show it to other collectors.
Are there any collectors or stores that anyone can suggest where I could find one please? Thank you

Instagram or ebay from the collectors/sales guys is probably the best bet these days. Maybe Facebook groups where collectors hang out and congregate as well. That's like the MINE doll, very few and far between and valuable when they pop up.

I wish you luck. It is probably the rarest plush to find that was actually released.

I thought that was the Mine plush? most people know about the Mine plush and have seen the odd few on Ebay over the years, Most even myself did not know of Matilda's existence, plus if a kid lost the shirt for it, it would just be a generic dog plush and get lost out there. Mine doll is unique and most people who own one or still own it from childhood know what it is, the Matilda unless its got the original shirt on, is just a dog.

Thank you for the replies all.
Yes they are rare, I have come across more of the “mine” plush by accident than I have actively searching for Matilda. I know of 5 confirmed, in varying conditions. The best is one mint in the bag, and the worst believe it or not is the one on eBay with the ripped stitching and missing tag.
Problem is they just don’t change hands
I went and watched that Zack Ryder garage clear out video, I couldn’t believe he had Matilda and “mine” just sitting in a pile on a bottom shelf lol thanks for pointing it out to me though dudes

I love reading these merchandise catalog chats. To this day my father complains about buying a $6 Bushwhacker boomerang (it has since dry rotted) from a house show in Baltimore. Mostly the last few years of complaints were in jest as he came to find out that WWF event merch or catalog merch is worth some money, not the Bushwhackers toy but definitely a lot of what I sold on ebay. I wish I had really watched wrestling in the late 80s, early 90s. I would have loved a Mine or Matilda.

I have owned and seen the mine doll many times but I have only even seen the Matilda a few times and is one of the few wrestling items I have never owned that was released. I think part of the problem is that without the shirt most people proabaly think it’s just a stuffed toy dog and isn’t worth anything so they never make it onto sale sites .
