Who would yall have as FTR's first match? Butcher and Blade? I think they have a grounded style that would mesh nicely. I wish there was a submission based team to fight against...

It definitely looks like Butcher and Blade. I think FTR should face a team one week and then the Bucks face that same team the next week (or vice versa). Both teams make their way through the tag team division showcasing themselves and trying to out do the other team. FTR goes out of their way to do their style and the Bucks theirs, leading to Young Bucks vs FTR at All Out. |

That FTR segment w/ Ski-a-vone was great. Granted Tony stole the whole thing with the actual meaning  Now, the smugness in the interview when talked about the Bucks was great...superb. It was like they weren't worth their breath. I wan't a best of 5 series with the 2 teams that ends in a cage with a roof. Blood feud son! Whoop Whoop! |

Listened to the podcast with Cornette. I enjoyed the first part of it, though you could tell Corny wanted to bury WWE a lot more than FTR did. The last bit about aew was weird. Half felt like a work, but the contract stuff was weird. They said they haven't actually signed anything yet and haven't committed to much. Usually people don't show up on the roster page until they've put something to paper, i.e why the jobbers and Cobb don't show up on it. If that was part of the work, I don't get it. I don't mind it if there a reason to make that part of the work, but I sure don't get it. If they haven't actually signed, then I don't know why they are on the roster page.

It's gonna be a banger. I really like the Butcher & the Blade, I think these two teams could have a great long term rivalry. I'm still leaning towards the whole contract handshake deal thing being a work, though I don't understand the angle yet. I'm guessing we are getting FTR vs. Young Bucks at Fyter Fest.

I'm keeping expectations for FTR vs B&B pretty low. B&B has been pretty subpar for me thus far.
I honestly think FTR vs The Bucks should be at All Out. That's a money match. Can't give that first match away on free tv to maybe pop a rating.

I'm really looking forward to their AEW debut match. Havent't watched AEW until FTR brought me to it (they're my favorite tag team) and so far I enjoy it more then I thought I would.
