This isn't 1985, it takes seconds to take a picture and send it online lol. I call BS to this story. Well, his reasoning for not sending me a picture is 1. he has to get to the figure. He says it's in a box in his spare bedroom, which frankly has me worried, but he swears up and down he has it. I'm optimistic, but frustrated. 2. Even if he were to take a photo at his place, I likely wouldn't have access to it because he can't send picture messages and doesn't have internet. He would have to come to my place and park outside to access my internet, and with the stay at home order going on, he can only do that when he goes to get groceries. I know, it seems insane that a grown man in 2020 would insist on not having internet (or television) at his apartment, but that's just how he is. He's... an odd duck. |

This reminds me of the story from the old boards where the guy ran into the widow hart and they were talking about wrestling figures and she said to keep our eyes peeled.
Botched your story with “mint on card”...”still in the box” or “I never opened it” would have been better choices.
The use of quotes was an attempt to bring credibility, but was deceptive. Come clean.

I have a mate who says he's got 3 of those 90's Wrestlers in clear plastic bags, doesn't know the names but he said Red and yellow bandana man, Dark hat man and Pink guy with hearts, not sure who they are, but he's giving me them as a late Easter present, cannot wait,
No pics as he doesn't have a phone signal or Electric.
So I'll keep you updated.

I do hope it turns out that he has what you think he has, and I get why you're excited, but knowing this place...you probably should have just kept it to yourself until you knew for certain one way or the other. If it turns out to not be the LJN Warrior, you're going to be labeled "that guy" forever. He used the term, "mint on card"? TL Dude I know your shtick on these boards is to play heel but can you honestly sit here and claim that shaneios friend or anyone on this earth could use the term “mint on card, blister pack, no articulation” and not know who the Ultimate Warrior is especially if Shanieomaniac claims his friend recently looked at it? This thread is hilarious, especially the white knights. There is nothing believable to defend in this thread, so I'm not sure how anyone is being negative for doubting it.
