Why not create a wrestling ring that is accurately in scale with the figures? The Mattel rings are far too small, and the authentic scale ring has a baggy mat 😂

Ring accuracy always bothered me as a kid. LJN was accurate to size but no area extended on the sides to meet the posts so guys could have a tag match. Toymakers rings were always awful as was Justoys but those were kind of on the silly side so it was to be expected. Jakks using the monster ring was most likely due to overstock with the LJN but still pretty crappy for such small figures to have that huge ring. They eventually had a few good ones but a few years later. I don't believe WCW Toybiz ever had a ring aside from that Bash at the Beach when they went more towards Jakks was doing with STOMP type of lines. Hasbro had the best ring I think. Everything was accurate about it, more so the one with the circular post tops which I don't think lasted long.

Toybiz had the Smash N Slam ring that came out alongside the initial wave of figures and the Nitro arena. Hasbro's ring had the same WWF logo in the center of the ring that was never actually there on TV, and the ring skirt/steps were the same color as the ring mat, which also wasn't the case on TV. It's probably my favorite figure ring ever, but hardly "accurate".
