Top shelf is a mix of certain flashbacks from the 80s and 90s. Such as the different Kane attires, and other various hall of fame figures and flashbacks. Mostly they are figures of my favorite wrestlers. Second shelf is the modern day women's roster broken up by Raw/SmackDown and Misc. Third shelf is an alumni women's roster/HOF. I have 2 shelves in my bedroom with suited BAF's.

I used to do eras with Jakks but with Mattel I basically just split them into 3 display cabinets. 1. WCW/AWA/WCCW 2. WWE Legends/FB 3. Modern WWE/NXT

I am going through and cataloging my figures, which range back to the Classic Superstar days through current, and am putting figures into different categories. Some are easy enough, like 'Original ECW' or 'Attitude Era', but some of the others are harder to me. Specifically some of the different eras of the 80s for WWF. I think I have settled on early 80s stuff (Muraco/Snuka/JYD - up through WMIII), then maybe the 'Golden' period from WM3 through about 1992, then finally the 'New Generation' that goes up to the Attitude Era. I am just curious how others are dividing up their collections and displays. Mix of Attitude Era/New Generation.

I try to do wrestlers from the 60's to 2001 when WWE bought out WCW.

I haven’t opened any of my collection. I probably have 100 figures & my daughter (10 years old) has maybe 100. She opens hers and just stores them in her closet in a big plastic container.
Mine are mostly late 80’s-thru-2000’s but I make exceptions for figures/wrestlers I like that are more current (Punk, Daniel Bryan, etc)
My daughters are mostly current with maybe like a quarter of them being before her time (Austin, HHH, LOD etc). She says Attitude era was the best after watching a bunch of wrestling on the WWE app.
My favorite era’s of wrestling were prob early 90’s WCW & late 90’s WCW & WWF.

I got a bizarre setup Self one has evil character superstars like demon Balor undertaker Kane etc.
Shelf two has Attitude Era Stars and NWO
Shelf Three is Legends
Shelf four is modern day talent

My hairbrained idea for a fed was to run 4 brands, each representing a different era.
One for an NWA-style scientific wrestling;
one for Rock 'n' Wrestling/ early 90's power style;
one for Attitude/RA era no holds barred brawling;
and the last for today's athletic workmanship style.
Felt that was the best way to give each its own identity while still fostering a healthy talent exchanges.

My main Era is Ruthless Aggression. Though the main 3 things that define my whole collection are: - All 2006 & 2007 RA Era attires (The odd Basic or other year Elite if it's their only figure) - All Luke Harper Elites/Future Brodie Lee figures - All Hardy Boyz Elites (Except the E67 Chase Jeff & Network Matt. Not interested in those unless they're $10 or less)
I buy the odd talent i really like. Usually only 1 of them unless i really like them, or if they have a second cool attire.
The majority of them are stored under my bed in a tub, so my only displays are these Detolfs: Detolf 1: - World Heavyweight Championship Replica & Unmatched Fury Edge - Hardy Boyz - Luke Harper/Brodie Lee - Seth Rollins (Turning it into the Kassius Ohno/Chris Hero Shelf once i get all i need)
Detolf 2: - Dragon Ball Z S.H. Figuarts - Hot Toys Terminator 2 T-800 DX10 - 2006 & 2007 Ruthless Aggression - CM Punk

My collection is definitely reflective of 1999, early 2000s, when I started watching wrestling. Attitude Era and late WCW. I seem to gravitate towards that stuff more the older I get. I try to get wrestlers that I had figures of as kid but got rid of at some point.
After that, another center would be the early 2010s. CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens (Steen), Cody Rhodes.
Thank you for this thread, Chaz. This post has been reflective and informative for me.

There's nothing I specifically go for. Just what I want/like. But by default I guess it would be current. The large majority of figures I have were released from 2017-present. Having every Rollins, Styles, and Balor elite is probably enough to define my collection as current.

Attitude Era, love it when friends see my collection and talk about the good ol days. Also collect some New Generation and Ruthless Aggression. As for Golden Era, I'm very selective but I usually pick up Jake Roberts, Rick Rude, Warrior and Macho man.

Pre-Attitude era. 1985-1995 mostly, with the most emphasis on about 1989-1992.

Pretty Much Golden-Attitude Era. But there are more and more Ruthless Aggression era figures being made all the time. So that is steadily becoming well represented.
