Are you going to release R Truth? Vince: No chance in hell!!! R-Truth would actually be a really shocking one.

And you clearly missed MY joke. Guess I should have attached a confused Keanu picture to it.

Usually with releases, they don't hit them with 90 days. Depends on the language in any signed contract.

It disgusts me that people are saying "This wrestler should be released" no one should be released, these wrestlers are people, who are losing their jobs, their life

XFL would have had a critical problem. Any talent that found success and got over would immediately go to the NFL. PJ Walker is already with the Panthers I think. He was their MVP. The only way another pro league would work would be to be a minor league to the NFL. And we have college for that. Not to veer too far off topic, but I think the USFL was the best and only shot at a true alternative football league. Sign some top tier guys above what they'd make in the NFL, and supplement it with lower tier castoffs. It was compelling football, and had star power that drew viewers. But there's no way that's happening today when you have players making 20, 30M annually. The window has come and gone, and no way that horse is getting put back in the barn. I do think there's value in a developmental league that has a more concentrated talent pool. College ball is just too big with too many variances in competition level and style. But obviously for the NFL the added value in better talent evaluation isn't worth the tradeoff of giving up market share, even if it's a fraction of a fraction. Anyway, back to guys in their underwear fake fighting...

These firings were planned unfortunately and strategically dropped on the day Trump Bucks landed and Vince was exposed as paying off Police Chief Conjour for Snuka #DarkSideOfTheRing #wwe

Sean Ross Sapp is reporting that the NXT talent being released is being provided 30 days of pay and then are free to do whatever they want.

I remember it coming up regularly on message boards in the early 00's.

That Vince McMahon is a despicable businessman should come as no shock to absolutely anyone who's been paying attention.

Rusev is the one that stands out. That's sucks. He seems like a cool guy, he got rusev day the over. He grew on me a lot and I'll miss him. I hope all of them are well enough off to get through these times until wwe, aew, or something comes along in the fall.

It's been reported that anyone outright released from their contracts were paid a portion of their remaining deal.

I despise this company and their business practices.
