That was a really bad match. Hager should not be going more than 10-15 mins he really gets exposed. Too long! Companies gotta realize that long long matches in an empty arena are going to be really hard to pull off.

Hager is a solid midcarder but just isn’t a credible main eventer. There were a few times in that match where Mox worked his leg and Hager no sold it right after wards. A veteran of over ten years should know basic selling by this point.
Hopefully Mox gets a more credible challenger next. Hangman would be interesting as both could lean into a possible heel turn to throw off fans.

I never want to see Hager wrestle again. Unless he's squashing someone, he has no value in a longer match.
Hopefully he can go back to being muscle. Now that he lost his title match, they shouldn't have him in a 1 on 1 match again.

Am I the only one who can't stands Mox? Care to elaborate on why you're not a fan? I was never a fan of The Shield. The whole black vest thing, and walking through the crowd was just silly. Yes he's tough, but I prefer either mat guys or "flippy" guys. Mox is great on the mic, but he's nothing more than a dirty brawler to me. Had he not been Dean Ambrose, I doubt he'd be wearing the strap. Don't get me wrong, I can like a brawler. Nikita Koloff for example. Brody. Hansen. But Mox? Meh. |

i liked the empty arena match more than others but felt they could've had more going on to keep things interesting. the mma approach was good but a bit over done. i liked how they had jr do the main event for the big fight feel.
jericho is absolute gold.

I think they’re still doing pretty well for themselves with these shows, and obviously they only have a limited crew that was there to tape several weeks of shows. So it does suck that Young Bucks, Hangman, Lucha Bros, PAC, SCU, etc aren’t getting Dynamite time, but I do think it’s good for the other guys who are getting constant TV time during this. Spears, Britt Baker, Best Friends, etc. They’re missing a lot but doing the best with what they have IMO.

I rather enjoyed Archer/Colt. Nothing spectacular, just good solid stuff. Spears had "it" with that match. That cocky veteran trainer style. After the CVV interview with him, it was a great look. Mix a bit of the chairman when he gets pushed too far and blammo, you get goodness. Suge D, err Pineapple Pete, had the Sugar Dunkerton stuff built from Chikara. Why drop it? Sammy G is just gold. The match and his twitter spot with Fat Hardy. Lol. And he cannot go after Anna Jay as someone suggested, the god can only have his goddess Brandi.  And wait....Silent Bob talks?!? The world truly is in a dark place for the myth to have to try to speak...I thought we were supposed to save that for the penultimate scene of the film? Kip is getting better. That is all I can say for that show without dissing the main event. |
