Watch the "Rise and Fall of The Ultimate Warrior" dvd. That is a burial. A subpar wrestler winning two major titles on the biggest show of the year. Enlighten me on how that is considered a burial? Did they take away the IC title the next day. They sure did. Angles like that have been happening way before it happened to poor Zack. The guy was employed there for 14 years. He had his ups and many downs. Was a part of good and not so good storylines. Zack was on tv every so often. But face the facts. He hasn't had stock in quite some time. Did Zack lose 90% of his matches? He sure did. Jesus people, not every fry worker at McDonalds deserves to be the general manager of the place. Even with all that going on. There is nothing that can be considered a burial. Why is he subpar?

He's movements are borderline goofy looking and I don't feel he can draw sympathy from an audience as a face in trouble.

From watching theFox Sports WWE Ruthless Aggression thing covering Evolution I recently discovered that Vince hates factions, which explains a lot of things.
I don't think WWE ever missed any opportunity to put all the guys together...believe it or not most of the guys who came up/trained around the same time are friends. In terms of a super group running around doing shenanigans...no just no.
There are times I wonder why they didn't push him and then I realize how immature he probably comes off to management.

One of the biggest problems with WWE is they feel the need to push only guys who look and feel like larger than life, physical attractions. Vince doesn't want to invest in someone who looks, acts, and feels like they're a fan who hopped the rail and is living their dream. That is why Zach Ryder was never pushed and wouldn't succeed. He's the wrestling version of the manager on the basketball team who gets to suit up and play the last quarter of the last game of the season. Sure he can make some good shots and provide some feel good moments, but he isn't a larger than life character.
His ability to get over using social media was counter productive to him because it was circumventing WWE's process. Sure he got over, but he also portrayed himself in a goofy, cartoon, juvenile light by highlighting his friends and his dad and his action figures and all the other stuff.
Now had he taken his Jersey Shore/my new haircut character in more of a heel, douchebag direction (similar to that MJF guy) then there may have been more to it.

I've said before Ziggler Miz and Morrison would be a good fit but Ryder is the odd one out.
Ryders had a pretty good career in the Wwe despite not winning the big one. He's had the rug pulled out from him more times than I can remember and still bounced back, this release sucks but it'll give him the opportunity to go elsewhere and maybe move further up the ladder than WWE would have allowed. Job stability is at 0 but opportunity just went to 100.
Edit: if he turns that remark Dreamer made about him dropping 14k on a figure into a storyline fued, someone is gonna wanna book that angle on their show surely.

He needs a manager that can talk for him.

Why couldn’t they have him be champion for at least a month? Instead Miz beats him the next day and gets another unnecessary title reign. Yawn!

I know most fans online typically think the answer is for everyone to turn heel and be a silent badass. But in all honesty... I really would liked to have seen Ryder & Hawkins turn heel and be almost a modern day E&C/NAO. Just an overly annoying yet sometimes funny heel duo. If they could have incorporated their love of Mattel into it, even better.

Honestly at the end of the day the success of a superstar comes down to how they're booked. I can't say I saw Ryder wrestle enough to the point where I can attest to his in ring capabilities, but I'm sure he would've been fine and had compelling storylines if they wanted to put the effort in with him.
