obviously bad timing for teaming Ced-Ric, BUT i think it could actually be the best thing for both these guys....
here me out......
Ricochet was literally treading water for the last few months. The loss to Lesnar was the tip of the iceberg. Everyone says Ricochet's promo skills are horrendous. Cedric was in jobber-hell, literally doing nothing...and his promo skills are nothing to write home.
Putting these two in a tag team will get them on TV every week, allow them to just do their "flippy chit" to pop the non-existent crowd, they dont need to worry about cutting long-winded or important promos and eventually they will get a random tag title win because all teams do. It will take up a lot of time, and neither of them would be doing anything else important if they weren't teaming up.
So basically it's keeping them from treading water doing nothing, and at least they are TRYING to sell it as a good thing.
