Did Dustin drop an f-bomb on live tv? I watched it a few times. It was close, but it sounded he said, "frikin."

The Rhodes boys sure do love adding unnecessary stipulations to their matches, huh?

Anybody else get a kick out of seeing the outfits and audience members change and knowing which matches were taped in which batch?

I'd love for Penelope and Brandi to get into a skirmish and have Jericho pull out the Joey Styles' "CAAAAAATFIIIIIGHT."

It was and I didn’t mind the squash matches. The non-wrestling stuff(Cody’s promo, Scorpio Sky, and Bubbly Bunch) was great. I expected Cassidy vs Havoc to be a comedy match, I’m glad it wasn’t.

Tony Khan promised an amazing show next week, said it'll be the best wrestling episode anyone has had since the pandemic shut down the US.
I'm excited, but also hesitant. This is the same guy who said Mox vs Hager was going to be excellent and we all know how that turned out...

How many times have we heard WWE commentators proclaim this is the greatest night in the history of wrestling?

Actually up to last week, I've felt that he's delivered on everything he's promised. I hope next week is the show he's hyping it to be!

Jericho is in a completely different league! These segments like the Bubbly Bunch is must-see-tv in a pandemic.
The TNT tourney unfortunately suffers from being predictable. Nobody thought Kip S was going to retire Dustin, nobody. And we all know Dustin will literally be almost murdered next week to set up a grudge final between the Murderhawk and Cody. As much as I love Darby, he shouldn't have gone over Sammy. Sammy should have won to set up the next round of classic face vs heel in an aforementioned predictable tournament. In a company that kayfabe's win/loss records, having Sammy eat so much defeat makes him out to be a garbage enhancement wrestler which we all know he's not. Darby could take the L and still pop an arena, Sammy just has no credibility if he keeps taking L's. They missed out on booking a rubber match between these two after the TNT tourney is done. They could have had a win a piece over each other and extended their feud.

I’m holding out hope that Darby beats Cody. I thought from the start that Cody/Archer wouldn’t be the finals as it’s too predictable. We’ve seen Darby have a draw with Cody, and then lose via a non-traditional manner on January 1st. It would be great for Darby to get the win here on his third attempt against Cody.

I think there's actually a pretty cool long term arc for Cody if Darby beats him here, especially if he beats him with the Last Supper, a relatively old school move brought back. Jake and Lance get to beak the living hell out of Cody, trashing him for not living up to his legacy, flipping the script on the whole "you don't just get to fight me, you have to earn it" thing, etc, etc. Cody has to go through a whole redemption arc reconnecting with who he really is. They've been kind of teasing it lately with the Cross-Rhodes being less and less effective, and him winning matches with figure four's, etc. He's been winning with some old school moves, but just lost to one as well. Missed the opportunity to avenge Dustin for his loss to Lance, and so on. Cody cuts some huge babyface promo about it being time to really embrace who he is, and starts going by Cody Rhodes in the ring as well, and gets to challenge Lance for the TNT title, or if heel Mox happened during his run, he could even lift Cody's restriction like he's claimed he will. As long as Austin Gunn is at ringside, he'll be loud enough it will sound like a huge pop. That or the Las Vegas mayor gets her way and they just run everything there and get crowds again lol. That said I'm totally fine with the predictable final too. I know it'll feel like a foregone conclusion, but it's also a good match and a lot on the line for both guys so I'm still totally fine with it.

I think it depends on if they're going to do Blood & Guts at DoN. If not, Cody has nothing to do for the ppv if Darby wins. After Archer destroys his brother and makes an example out of him, it'll heat up the match against Cody at DoN.

Good show I thought, but I didn't like the last match. Loved Wardlow....those toss suplexes were gruesome. I think as much as I hated it for Havoc being vicious to OC, those 2 had the best match of the night. He cared, he tried, he won-ish. I could just imagine the heat Havoc would have had with a crowd squeezing the juice from the juicy one (shoutout to the juice juvi!).
