Very curious to read this! I honestly have no idea what to expect format wise or anything-wise. lol I find myself reading a ton of these since quarantine so I am excited to start reading another one! Just a little something to keep myself busy. Definitely not going to be as elaborate as some of these other big guns around here, but then again that was never really my bag anyway.

SPRING SLAM preview:
Colons vs. Brett Matthews and Bryan Myers Two teams who many argue weren't used well in their time on the big stage. Despite this, they both have been tag champions. These two specific teams will meet for the first time ever in this tag team match.
Good Brothers vs. Mike Bennett & Lio Rush (w/Maria) This is a match that was requested by Gallows and Anderson. Bennett has a long history with Anderson and Gallows dating back to their time in Japan. Mike has enlisted the help of the incredibly talented Lio Rush. The Good Brothers look to settle this once and for all. Will Mike's wife Maria be a factor in this or will the Good Brothers get rid of the thorns in their paws?
Heath Miller vs. Ethan Carter III (w/ Rockstar Spud Heath first signed with developmental programs in 2006 and won several championships in his time with his former employer. Ethan also spent time in the same developmentals but didn't see as much success until he signed with TNA. These two have only met once in one on one action and various times in passing in battle royals.
Crazy Mary Dobson vs. Deonna Purrazzo These women both wrestled in the Mae Young Classic, just different years. A couple matches on "C-shows" and one in Chikara are their only meetings due to their careers going down different paths.
Also: Jose vs. Dan Matha
Plus appearances by Kurt Angle, Miroslav Makaraov, Dave Finlay, and more!

I like the card! I think EC3 should be at the top of whatever he is doing, especially paired with Spud. I also always thought Primo could be a great top heel in a company. I hope that can be explored at some point. If not just to pop me, the Primo mark. lol

Writers note: This was thought up before more names were released. They'll get used on the next show.
SPRING SLAM
Sunday, April 26. iPPV
The show started with several members of the roster around the ring and up the entryway. The ring was empty except for one man: Luke Gallows. In his best Howard Finkel voice, he asked the iPPV audience and the roster to "please rise while we toll the bell 10 times as we pay our respects to Howard Finkel." RIP Fink.
Kurt Angle started to say some words about Howard but got interrupted by PC trainee, Aleksandar Jaksic who never spoke English. Miroslav Makaraov then made his way down and also didn't speak English. Angle said "How about some English in here for cryin out loud!" Cue the former Aiden English who came out and said hes the translator for Miroslav and Alexandar and to call him "Mr. English". They then challenged Angle to a match. He said hes retired, but can find two guys to face Miroslav and Aleksandar tonight!
Your commentary team, Jerry Soto & Jonny Loquasto introduced themselves to the iPPV audience, explained the roster, ran down the card before sending it to the ring announcer, Josiah Williams.
•Pat Buck vs. Nick Comoroto A nice opener. Buck bumped his ass off for the larger Comoroto. The big man is suprising agile and very charismatic. Comoroto gets the win with a bear hug.
Winner: Nick Comoroto
"Hail to The Chief" played and out came a Trump impersonator (Ace Steel) and his Secret Service. He said that he got a call from these wrestlers' former employer and he is here to let them know in person that they've been fired.
•Los Primos del Colón vs. Matt Cardona and Bryan Myers Before the match, the Colons did their old "come to Puerto Rico" schtick. The Colons cheating tactics weren't quite enough and the bros from New York pick up this major victory.
Winners: Matt Cardona and Bryan Myers.
After the match, the Colons continue to do their schtick after their opponents have already left, until Erick the Redd (formerly Erick Rowan) comes in and destroys them.
•Jose vs. Monster Matha (w/Eric Young) Jose came out as the one man conga line. Eric Young interrupted the festivities by introducing Monster Matha. Jose nervously tried to get Matha and EY to dance, but Matha hit him with a big spinning side slam for a quick win.
Winner: Monster Matha
"Mr. President" was shown in his personal suite where Kathy Campanelli looked to get an interview with him. He seemed to like what he was seeing in Kathy, but they were interrupted by Mike Rotunda, who told him that even though he lost his job on Tax Day, he liked the work Mr. President was doing.
•Good Brothers vs. "Miracle" Mike Bennett & Lio Rush (w/Maria Kanellis-Bennett) For their entrance, Lio hyped up Mike as hes known to do, but had more of a preacher cadence as he called the name of their team, Exodus. Gallows and Anderson were able to thwart their opponents speed with power until Maria got on the apron and used her assets to distract Anderson. Rush used this distraction to hit Anderson with an inverted double underhook facebuster (Unprettier).
Winners: Mike Bennett and Lio Rush
• Heath Miller vs. Ethan Carter III (w/ Rockstar Spud) Before his entrance, Carter was shown talking to someone in Gorilla. He asked him if he was sure this would work. After walking out alone, EC3 explained that Spud wouldn't be able to make it due to his prior engagements in Orlando, however Spud would be virtually in his corner via Zoom. Ethan set his phone up on a stand and told Kerwin Silfies to get Spud on. Spud then appeared on the giant screen and told Ethan to just do whatever he says.
Ethan and Spud's plan worked for the most part until it seemed Heath started to really listen to the things Spud was telling EC3 to do, which by that point was essentially them telegraphing moves. Heath looked to set up for a big move, but Spud told Ethan to bail which gave Heath the count out victory.
Winner via count out: Heath Miller
Highlights were shown of the dark match battle royal before the match. This included some of the former performance center trainees from China, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Brazil. The winner ended up being Xiaolong Wang (formerly Mars Wang) from China. After the highlight package, he was shown sitting backstage along with fellow countryman, Yifeng Yuxiang ( f.k.a. Rocky). Kathy Campanelli attempted to get an interview with them only to be interrupted by Mr. President. He told her he had been looking for her and would like to let her get a proper interview. When she told him she was getting an interview with Wang and Yuxiang, he said something about people from China that won't be repeated here.
•Crazy Mary Dobson vs. Deonna Purrazzo - Referee Dave Finlay Mary came out with a cast on her arm and in street clothes. She claimed that her arm isn't 100% after an incident that happened a few weeks ago. Trainer Serena Deeb confirmed the injury then Mary introduced her replacement, MJ Jenkins.
•MJ Jenkins. vs. Deonna Purrazzo - Referee Dave Finlay This was obviously put on as the comedown match, but it was in no means a boring match. Sometime during the match, Taynara Conti came out wearing a shirt that said "released" and stood in the aisle way. MJ is very athletic, but so is Purrazzo and more experienced. This experience is what led to MJ's downfall. Jenkins tapped immediately to Deonna's devastating Fujiwara Armbar.
Winner: Deonna Purrazzo
After the match, Serena distracted Deonna while Mary struck her in the back with her cast.
•?? & ?? (w/ Kurt Angle) vs. Miroslav Makaraov & Aleksandar Jaksic (w/ Mr. English) Angle made his entrance and stopped at the entryway. The lights went out and appeared two shadowy figures who were holding glowsticks. The big screen displayed the words: Full Time Ravers, then Fronting the Revolution, followed by Fear The Revolt, Free The Restraints and finally F*ck The Revival. FTR. The lights came back on and Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were standing next to Kurt wearing some ridiculous outfits. They quickly took them off and said "we're not gonna do this goofy sh*t ANYWHERE!"
A nice hard hitting match. Miro and FTW obviously were letting out their frustrations of their previous employer. A misplaced big boot knocked out referee Scott Armstrong. FTR used this mistake to hit the Shatter Machine on Jaksic but Miroslav pulled out and punched the second referee, Mike Chioda. Angle yelled first another referee to come out. Out came Shawn Daivari in a referee shirt! FTR threw Jaksic into the ropes which caused him to knock Miroslav and Mr. English off the apron, then hit another Shatter Machine on him for the 1-2-3 counted by Daivari.
Winners: FTR
After the match, all hell broke loose. English, Jaksic and Miroslav attacked Daivari until FTR and Angle saved him and cleared house. Then, FTR attacked Angle! The lights went out, then a green spotlight shined into the ring and revealed Hurricane Helms! Helms hit a crossbody on FTR and choke slammed Dax while Angle Angle Slammed Cash. Angle and Helms stood tall in the middle of the ring fending off their attackers to end the show.
Quick results: Dark Match: Xiaolong Wang won a battle royalNick Comoroto def. Pat Buck Matt Cardona and Bryan Myers def. Los Colon Primos Monster Matha def. Jose "Miracle" Mike Bennett & Lio Rush def. Karl Anderson & Doc Gallows Heath Miller def. Ethan Carter III via countout Deonna Purrazzo def. MJ Jenkins (Substitute for Crazy Mary Dobson) FTR def. Deonna Purrazzo was shown backstage furious about the outcome of her match. MJ Jenkins approached her and told Deonna that shes not involved in Crazy Mary Dobson's games and she was just a pawn. MJ then asked Deonna if she could have a rematch.
Deonna said that she really wants to get her hands on Mary and Serena and planned on challenging either of them to a match, but there's no reason she couldn't wrestle MJ too and show the world why they call her "The Virtuosa". -----
Mr. English was positioned behind in a desk in what looked to be a late night talk show set. He said that he has proven time and time again that he is indeed the microphone master due to his singing, ring announcing, commentary, translations and now will show that he is a master at interviewing on his new show "Talking English"
His first guests of course were Miroslav Makaraov and Alexandar Jaksic who were introduced as The English Connection. In Bulgarian, Miroslav said that hes challenging Daivari to a match for costing his team the match. He also told Jaksic to stand at ringside along with Mr. English and not get in the way again. -----------
Outside the arena, FTR were putting their bags in their car. Kathy Campanelli approached them and questioned their actions for after their match.
Cash said they weren't here to be led by someone, they were here to take the lead. He said that even though they're absolutely the world's greatest tag team, they're not here to simply be Team Angle.
Dax then addressed Hurricane Helms. He said that if he wants to dress in silly costumes and play superhero, he won't do it with FTR. What he can do is find one of his "super" friends and meet them in the ring. ---------
A beautiful parlor was shown before revealing Ethan Carter III. He took a sip out of a wine flute before speaking.
"Ah. It's the finer things in life. Big house, expensive champagne, fast cars and even faster women! Things you, Heath Miller, know nothing about! I sip champagne out of a crystal glass, you drink light beer out of a disposable red cup! I would never be caught holding a red disposable cup! I like to drive the most expensive fastest cars, you drive your old pickup truck. And most importantly, I only surround myself with the most beautiful women, while you sit at home with your big fat wife and stupid kids.
We are not the same you and me, Heath. It disgusts me that I had to share a ring with someone like you. Trust me, the next time you see me, I'll be in the main event! Now cameraman, you can exit. I have a phone call to make.
Alexa, call Spud."

Writer's note: So, I've been watching some of the WWE's feeder system shows (Progress, ICW, Evolve and to an extent, NXT.) And I like how they're showcasing the not so big names. So I figured I'd like to do something here that could showcase all the former Performance Center wrestlers. I'll be presenting these as smaller shows with less matches. This will be a sporadic set of shows called "In This Very Ring"IN THIS VERY RING 1: The New Challengers
Monster Matha (with EY) vs. Xiaolong Wang (with Yifeng)
Sabatino Piscitelli vs. Nick Comoroto
Team Saudi- Faisal Kurdi & Hussain Aldagal vs. Team Brazil - Cezar Bononi & Marcos Gomes (w/ Taynara Conti)
Aleksandar Jaksic (w/ Mr. English) vs. Edgar Lopez
Pat Buck vs. Mohamed Abdelfattah

I like the branding you got going on here - the company name and the developmental show names. I'm looking forward to how this develops.

Hurricane Helms is shown watching FTR's promo. After it finishes, he stands up and heads over to a green phone, dails it and simply says "I need a hero." He then steps out onto his balcony and removes a cover from a spotlight and shines it into the night sky. _____________
Heath Miller is sitting in a small living room with his wife and two children.
"Hi, I'm Heath Miller and this is my wife Stephanie and these are my two daughters. I recently heard what EC3 had to say about me, how he said we're nothing alike. You know what? That's true. I don't drive expensive cars- I drive my pickup truck. I don't drink fancy champagne- I drink beer. I definitely don't hang around with fast women- my wife is all the woman I need. So you're right, Ethan. We ARE different. The biggest difference is: I'm real. The Heath you see on TV is the same Heath off camera! To me, being in All Star Wrestling is a clean slate! ___________ Internet Exclusive match: The dark match battle royal is shown in its entirety.

Unique concept for sure. Dig what I've read so far. There were so many people who were capable of so much more when the cuts happened. Interested to see where you go from here, Mike.

IN THIS VERY RING I: The New Challengers
Jerry Soto and Jonny Loquasto welcomed everyone to the show and ran down the card before throwing it to ring announcer, Josiah Williams.
1. Aleksandar Jaksic (w/ Mr. English) vs. Edgar Lopez Mr. English did the ring intros for Jaksic and Lopez (backhandedly insulting Lopez), then joined the commentary team for this one, declaring himself "The Microphone Master". Lopez got little offense against Jaksic and fell to the big boot and pump handle slam.
Winner: Alexander Jaksic
2. Pat Buck vs. Mohamed Abdelfattah Mo has a fun gimmick - The Pharaoh of Phunk/Egyptian Lover (think 96 HBK) but Buck was having none of it, declaring "The Buck stops here". Mo was able to give Buck another loss with his Muscle Buster he calls The Pyramid Drop.
Winner: Mohammed Abdelfattah
3. Team Saudi Arabia - Faisal Kurdi and Hussain Aldagal vs. Team Brazil- Cezar Bononi and Marcos Gomes (w/ Taynara Conti) Team Saudi are just not good- very green. Team Brazil on the other hand, are outstanding. Cesar is an absolute beast and Gomes shines in his former MMA background. Taynara distracted the ref long enough for Cesar and Carlos to hit a powerbomb/ Ace Crusher on Faisal for the 1-2-3.
Winners: Team Saudi Arabia
After the match, Matt Cardona and Bryan Myers came out and invited both teams to their Open Invitational Tag Team Tournament and Pool Party.
4. Sabatino Piscitelli vs. Nick Comoroto This was a battle of two big boys. Sabby is definitely leaner than Nick, but still solid- which was proven by a series of both men hitting the ropes and trying to knock down his opponent with a shoulder block. Sabby was able to get Nick down, albeit with a knee to the gut. From there on out, Piscitelli attempted to wear Comoroto down in any way he could, but in the end, Nick was able to lock in the Bear Hug.
Winner: Nick Comoroto.
After the match, Sabatino attacked Comoroto.
5. Monster Matha (with EY) vs. Xiaolong Wang (with Yifeng) Wang gives up about 20kg and 6 inches to Matha. Referee Mike Chioda had his hands full with not only the participants in the ring, but with their seconds. Yifeng and EY brawled on the outside when Yifeng stopped him from interfering, so Chioda kicked them both out from ringside. Wang almost got a roll up when Matha was distracted by this, but only 2. Later in the match, Matha pulled a railroad spike from his boot. Chioda took it from him, but this was a ploy for EY to come back down. He threw a fireball that missed his intended target and got Matha instead. Chioda stopped the match to let medical personnel to tend to Matha.
No contest.
As people helped Matha, EY attacked Wang with a chair and tried to use the spike before he was stopped by Yifeng. Myers and Cordona ran down to help Team China, invited them to the tournament and banned EY and Matha from it.
