It's funny how he left the wrestling business to get into politics and later become a conspiracy theorist. He seems to want nothing to do with wrestling anymore

It would be better than what they have right now. Agreed. But I don't think Vince cares for Jesse very much, especially since he lost a lawsuit to Jesse back in the 90s and had to pay a hefty sum to him. Plus, over the past decade, the WWE has been scrubbing Ventura's commentary from all DVDs and match commentary.

That's because Vince and the WWE would have to pay Jesse money to use that commentary on those DVDs. That is what the whole lawsuit was for back in the 90s. Hulk Hogan's DVD sets have Jesse's voice on his matches, because Hulk himself paid to have it included. Same with the Warrior's DVD set in 2014. His DVD set that came out after he died, ad all the Jesse commentary edited off because Dana Warrior or the WWE didn't want to pay Jesse I guess.

Yeah, that was actually nice of Hogan to do that, kind of surprising too. But it sucks that they are scrubbing him from commentary, sometimes he's the best things about those DVDs and matches.

That's one bonus about the WWE Network. One is that you don't get the blurred out scratch logo or missing WWF talk, and secondly is Jesse Ventura on the commentary for those matches he did commentary for. I sold a lot of my DVDs when I got the Network just because of those problems on the DVD releases. It really makes certain matches unbearable to watch when you hear only Gino Monsoon, or Vince, or Tony Schiavone talk with no Jesse there when you know he was there.

That's cool that you can hear him on commentary on the Network, but that probably means they are not paying him royalties.

They don't have to pay him royalties for the Network. Only for VHS and DVD (and Blu Ray) distribution.

I'm kind of surprised that Jesse isn't fighting that.

I wanna say Raven, and some other wrestlers tried to fight it in court when the WWE Network was established. The wrestlers don't make any money or if they do it's very little off the Network subscriptions. Where as if their matches get released on VHS, DVD or Blu Ray they got bigger royalty checks. I believe it got thrown out though, so Vince wins yet again!

True, it may not be worth the money to fight it out in court - for Jesse that is.
