A lot of things had to change. Some not for the better. I think Braun, Gulak and Bryan vs. Zayn, Cesaro and Shinsuke would have been more in line with where they were going than having Gulak and Bryan in the tag title match. It is however adorable that you're calling Nikki and Alexa "Bliss Cross Applause"

Hello, welcome to the board! Things are looking good thus far, I like the concept and hope it's something you consider sticking with for as long as possible. I'd use less colour on your roster pages and save that for headers and whatnot, but besides from that I look forward to what you have to share.

KICKOFF SHOWRaw Tag Team Championship Street Profits defend against AOP“So this match was what you’d expect it to be. AOP getting the heat for most of it, building the hot tag to Montez Ford. AOP hit a couple of slams that looked really bad. Like they really hurt Dawkins on some of them. They had the spot where Ford dives over all the ropes onto AOP, that got the crowd fired up! The Street Profits had the crowd all match! “We Want The Smoke” chants and all that. The finish was a classic “faces do the cheating” type finish. Rezar tried getting into the ring, thus distracting the ref allowing Ford to hit Akam with the tag title. Slam from Dawkins, Frog Splash from Ford and the Street Profits retained!” Winners: The Street Profits
Wrestlemania Women’s Battle Royal“Alright so a lot of entrances were skipped, they came out as a group. You had Zelina, Dana, Tamina, Ruby, Sarah Logan, Liv. You had NXT girls. You had Tegan Nox, Dakota Kai, Raquel Gonzalez, Aliyah, Borne, Kamea, Shotzi, Chelsea, Xia Li, Indi Hartwell, Kayden Carter. The only girls that got entrances were Natalya and Lana. Lana cut a promo the whole way down the ramp, getting heat. The match started and obviously Lana was the first eliminated. Nothing special. This played like your basic battle royal. No real big spots or anything. It was fine. It was fine. Nothing horrible but definitely not anything great. It ended up getting down to Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan, Natalya, and Liv Morgan as your final four. Ruby eliminated Natalya so your final three was The Riott Squad. Logan was first to go. And a couple of minutes of back and forth, eventually Liv eliminated Ruby to win the battle royal this year.” Winner: Liv Morgan
“During the kickoff show we got another screen glitch. “There is more truth out there.” So after helping the Mandy/Otis situation I guess this hacker is still going to reveal wrong doings or something.” King Corbin vs. Elias“So we were supposed to have Corbin and Elias but backstage before the match we saw King Corbin take out Elias with his scepter. Hit Elias in the back with it, then in the throat with it before smashing Elias’s own guitar over his back. Referees told Corbin to leave so it looks like that match is cancelled.” United States Championship Andrade defends against Humberto Carrillo, Rey Mysterio, and Angel Garza“So this match was a surprise. This was previewed as a pay-per-view card match up until the match started, really. I don’t know if this was always the plan or they changed their minds regarding the Corbin/Elias match and moved this. This was really good! This was a great match, on par with what these four have been doing the past number of weeks! Crowd was into it, which was good. They liked Rey. They always like Rey, but they liked Rey tonight. A lot of dives, but these guys do them beautifully! Finish came when Rey hit a double 619 on Garza & Humberto but Zelina held Rey’s leg on the apron as Andrade slid in and pinned Humberto to retain.” Winner: Andrade
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal“A lot of real good guys in this one! Aleister, Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Lashley, Rowan, Nakamura, Cesaro, Murphy, Rusev. A lot of guys that could actually win, not so much one clear favorite. You also had Tozawa, Cedric, Hawkins, Ryder, Ricochet, The Revival, Lucha House Party, EC3, Maverick, Mojo, Truth, Riddick, Shorty G, Shelton, No Way Jose, Slater, MVP, Eric Young, Ivar, Erik, Gallows, Anderson, Kanellis. Revival were eliminated first at the same time. Those guys are done. It is clear they don’t want to be there and the company doesn’t want them. Again treated like a joke here at the start and are first gone, even though you have guys like Jose and Eric Young in there. A lot of bodies, Aleister and Rowan seemingly got most of the eliminations. Aleister eventually eliminated Rowan. The final four were Jeff Hardy, Sheamus, Aleister, and Murphy. Hardy eliminated Murphy. Sheamus then immediately Hardy while he was still looking at Murphy. Sheamus & Aleister had a good battle as the finals. These two could have a real good match if given the chance down the road. Sheamus missed a Brogue Kick and Aleister hit Black Mass, knocking Sheamus out. Black lifted Sheamus’s lifeless body and eliminated him, winning the match. Really good showing from Aleister, the whole match was sorta designed to make him look good.” Winner: Aleister Black
Wrestlemania 36“We opened with America the Beautiful as usual. I can’t remember the singer’s name. I don’t know if she is popular or not. I’ve personally never heard of her but she did a good job! We got the opening video package. A pirate themed video package. Apparently the voice over guy was supposed to be Jack Sparrow? I had no idea, until the character said it himself. So yeah, apparently a Pirate of the Caribbean reference which I find funny because that’s the movie Vince never saw which ended Paul Burchill’s pirate gimmick. But oh well. So after that we have Gronk open the show on the stage. He says it’s going to be the biggest “Gronk Party” of all time. I assume that’s a trademark or a shirt they are going to release. Gronk says what better way to kick off a party than with a championship match so that led to our first match of the night.”
NXT Women’s Championship Rhea Ripley defends against Charlotte Flair“Really good match! If this was the match that was supposed to make Rhea a star to the casual fans, it definitely worked! A great back and forth match, lots of high-spots, lots of false finishes but the crowd was really into it. Loud “Rhea” chants during the match. I don’t know if everyone in the crowd knew who she was but based on the sound it seemed like everyone was rooting for her. Flair kicked out of Riptide at one point. Rhea kicked out of Natural Selection, which everyone does so I don’t know why Charlotte was surprised by that. Charlotte worked over Rhea’s leg about halfway through the match. Rhea was limping and selling the leg. Rhea went for Riptide but her leg gave out allowing Charlotte to lock in the Figure Eight and Rhea tapped out.” Winner: Charlotte Flair
Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, & Sonya Deville vs. Heavy Machinery & Mandy Rose“We get the recap of the hacker revealing Sonya sent the text to Mandy and all that. Sonya comes out to some really good heat! Lots of boos her way. Amazing reaction for Mandy & Otis! The crowd reactions have really helped but this angle over in my book. A pretty standard six-man tag match. Roode & Ziggler getting the heat on Tucker. Hot tag was made to Mandy. She beat up Sonya for a little bit before Sonya tagged in Dolph. Dolph acted like he was trying to smooth things over with Mandy, flirting perhaps. Mandy slapped Dolph and tagged in Otis to a great ovation. Otis cleans house and they hit the Compactor on Dolph for the win. After the match Tucker leaves the ring so Otis and Mandy can get their moment. Loud “YES” chants before Otis dips Mandy and gives her a kiss.” Winners: Heavy Machinery & Mandy Rose
John Cena vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt“Thank God the audience was hot for this! The Fiend can do no wrong for the fans right now which is a good thing! Because his matches do not always deliver. His Bryan match was great, but this was a clear drop. It was okay. It was what it was. A lot of stalling, it felt like. John not sure how to react to The Fiend, looking at the crowd, stuff like that. They recreate the finish from their 30 match, but this time Wyatt counters the AA and hits Sister Abigail. Wyatt locks the Mandible Claw on John for the three count. Pretty decisive victory for Wyatt. Feels like it will be a long time before we see Cena again. They worked it like John would be gone for a long time after.” Winner: Bray Wyatt
No Disqualification Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens“Rollins came out dressed in all white. I think it’s funny, he mentioned that Vince didn’t want him wearing all white again and not two months later he’s wearing all white again. This was possibly the best match on the card. You could definitely make an argument for that! These two work so well together! Seth went for the Curb Stomp early but was countered. Owens went for the Stunner early but was countered. This was a great match that got muddled towards the end due to all of the interference. Owens hit a Stunner but AOP ran out. Owens got beatdown until the Street Profits ran out and fought them into the crowd. Rollins went for a Curb Stomp but Owens caught him with a Pop-Up Powerbomb. Owens had a two count until Murphy broke it up. Murphy & Rollins double teamed Owens until Aleister Black ran out and fought Murphy off. Rollins still had control and again went for a Curb Stomp but Owens rolled out of the way and used the chair. Owens battered Rollins with over a dozen chair shots. Owens hit a Stunner. Owens picked Rollins up, flipped him off, and hit another Stunner and pinned him.” Winner: Kevin Owens
Women’s Tag Team Championship Kabuki Warriors defend against Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross“I felt bad for these four. They had a good match! A pretty good match! They followed the Owens match and The Fiend’s match! The crowd was so hot for both of those matches that this match didn’t stand a chance. It was a good match though, they told a good story. Asuka had the Asuka-Lock on at one point and Alexa used Twisted Bliss to break it up. Asuka tried using her mist, but Nikki moved and she sprayed Kairi. Asuka got taken out and Alexa hit a right hand to Kairi followed by Nikki hitting The Purge to win the titles.” Winners: Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross
Intercontinental Championship Sami Zayn defends against Braun Strowman“This was a burial. Braun ran down Cesaro and Nakamura during his entrance. Laid both of them out before the match started. Braun got in the ring as Sami slid out. Sami ran around the ring for a while before Braun caught him and threw him into the ring finally. The bell rang and Sami tried backing off and begging for mercy. Braun picked him up and hit him with the powerslam to win the title in like 25 seconds.” Winner: Braun Strowman
“We got the Hall of Famers coming out on stage. They introduced all of them, the usual routine. Batista got the big entrance out of all of them. We see a video package announcing Wrestlemania going to Hollywood next year.” Universal Championship Goldberg defends against Roman Reigns“Oh this was bad. The crowd was dumping on the whole match. Goldberg has heat for beating Wyatt and Roman always has heat when he’s on top. This was a disaster. Lots of Spears. That’s essentially what the match was. Roman kicked out of a Jackhammer. Roman hit three Superman Punches and then three Spears to finally beat Goldberg and win the title.” Winner: Roman Reigns
AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker“This was probably Undertaker’s best performance in years! He looked great out there! AJ is such an amazing worker he could get a good match out of anybody so this wasn’t surprising. Gallows and Anderson tried getting involved early but Taker took then both out with a big boot and Old School. AJ started working over Taker’s knees and his legs. AJ locked in the Calf Crusher. That would have been huge. If AJ could make Taker submit that would have been huge for his career accomplishments. Not many guys have done that. Make Taker submit. Taker got out and they fought some more. Taker did his dive over the ropes onto all three of The O.C. Taker hit a Chokeslam which AJ kicked out of. Taker finally hit a Tombstone on AJ to win it. Real good match.” Winner: The Undertaker
“Next King Corbin comes out. He takes a long entrance. A real long time to get to the ring. He brags about taking out Elias. No Elias performance tonight. Another year, another failed Mania moment for Elias. Corbin brags about being the King of Wrestlemania. He retired Kurt Angle last year, he’s the biggest part of Wrestlemania. Eventually Gronk comes out. Gronk says as host of Wrestlemania he has some power and authority. Corbin says he’s king, he has most authority. As Corbin is running his mouth, Mojo slides in the ring behind him. Gronk mentions that Corbin actually does have a match for tonight. Mojo turns Corbin around and beats him up. Mojo and Corbin go back and forth for a little bit before Mojo hits a big tackle on Corbin. Gronk finally makes it down to the ring and announces Corbin’s opponent is himself. Mojo takes off his shirt to reveal a referee shirt and he rings the bell. Gronk hits a running tackle like he did on Jinder a few years back and covers Corbin. Mojo makes the fast count and Gronk wins. I guess it was an official match, I’m not sure Mojo has any referee official power or not. But nevertheless Gronk won a match at Wrestlemania so that will be headlines tomorrow. Gronk and Mojo celebrate as Corbin walks up the ramp furious.”
Raw Women’s Championship Becky Lynch defends against Shayna Baszler“Crowd is loud for Becky! Crowd still loves Becky! Especially a Mania crowd that has more casual fans. Shayna got a little bit of heat but the crowd still seemingly isn’t reacting all that much to her. The match was decent! It wasn’t long but it was good. They started with some striking. They moved to grappling. Kept it kind of like an MMA style match. Becky tried locking in chokes and leg bars but Shayna got out of them. Becky kept trying for these submissions but Shayna kept countering easily. Shayna catches Becky in the choke and Becky reaches for the ropes. Becky is fingertip away from the bottom rope but passes out and the referee rings the bell. Shayna wins the title. I think the story here was Becky was too confident...too cocky. She wasn’t wrestling her match and instead tried to match what Shayna does and lost.” Winner: Shayna Baszler
Smackdown Tag Team Championship The Miz & John Morrison defend against The New Day, The Usos, and Daniel Bryan & Drew Gulak“Good match! It was short, but it was in a spot on the card where they shouldn’t really have gone long. The crowd was defeated from the last match and Shayna winning so Usos & New Day diving and doing their usual spots helped get the crowd back into it. Daniel Bryan is being wasted. It’s getting Gulak a great push but he is still one of the most over guys on the roster and he’s in the tag title match. I mean Kofi too! They were the WWE title match last year and are both in the tag title match this year. There was a lot of chaos and everyone was taking out everyone towards the end. Kofi hit The Miz with Trouble in Paradise to get the win and win the titles for the eighth time.” Winners: The New Day
Smackdown Women’s Championship Bayley defends against Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Carmella, and Naomi“My God do they hate Smackdown or what? Their tag title match and their women’s title match are in such throw away spots on the card. The crowd is ready for the main events and they still have these Smackdown matches first. Anyway, the match was one fall to a finish. The whole match was built around Bayley and Sasha’s friendship. Who will turn on who, that sort of thing. Sasha had Lacey in the Bank Statement but behind her back Bayley hit her finish on Carmella and got the pin to retain the title. Sasha started to celebrate when she heard the bell ring only to turn around and see that Bayley had actually won. We got a real good camera shot of Sasha looking upset but then smiling as soon as Bayley turns around and looks at her.” Winner: Bayley
Last Man Standing Edge vs. Randy Orton“Alter Bridge performed Edge’s entrance music live. It was a cool entrance. Lots of pyro, love music, crowd was loud. A fitting entrance. Orton took his usual time to get to the ring. This match was a weapons match. It was a walk and brawl, weapons match. Not really the best technical masterpiece for Edge’s return but it was good for what it was. They really sold the hatred of the rivalry. Some real good acting moments from both men. Scary spot where Orton hits Edge with an RKO with a chair wrapped around his neck. Brutal landing. Orton had Edge set up for the Punt Kick and for a brief moment hesitated and it allowed Edge to roll out of the way. Edge hit Randy with a Spear. Edge locked in his new Arm Triangle-like submission hold and made Randy pass out. Edge then hit a Conchairto on Randy and the ref counted to ten. Edge was crying tears of relief after the match, he had the return match, he survived, and got revenge on Randy.” Winner: Edge
WWE Championship Brock Lesnar defends against Drew McIntyre“The crowd was energetic for this from the entrances. Big match feel with both men standing there before the match started. This was a short one, which is to be expected from Lesnar matches now. The bell rang and Drew instantly hit a Claymore. Brock got up, rocked, and Drew hit another Claymore. Brock tried hitting a Clothesline but Drew countered. This felt like a reverse of the Lesnar/Cena Summerslam match. Brock didn’t hit any Suplex, but he was the one that got destroyed. Most of Brock’s losses now seem to be that he gets caught, but this was domination. Drew toyed with Brock almost. Drew went for a Suplex but Brock quickly countered and got Drew up for the F5. Drew got off and pushed Brock. Brock couldn’t even hit the F5, not one F5! Drew hit a Claymore. Waited for Brock to get up and hit one more Claymore and pinned him. Heyman was shocked on the outside. The fans were too! They expected Drew to win but not to destroy Brock. They weren’t expecting zero offense from Brock. The crowd exploded when Drew won and we had a good, happy moment to end the show with Drew raising the title!” Winner: Drew McIntyre

Very interesting style of write up. like a very critical fan. Or just the IWC. All the storylines are interesting. Kind of a long read, but i also understand it's a Wrestlemania in this era.

WrestleMania 36 rundown
Considering that this is not the show we got in real life not even close to it because of the whole coronavirus pandemic and this being a regular Mania I will get right into this right now:
- Street Profits on the Kick Off Show defending the RAW Tag Team Championships against Seth Rollins' cohorts The Authors of Pain and actually beating AOP actually puts Street Profits on the map as far as being a legit tag team. I mean AOP for the most part are a dominant tag team and they have aligned themselves with perhaps RAW's biggest heel on their roster, that being Seth Rollins. I definitely would have expected either Murphy or even Seth Rollins himself to get involved here in this match and cost The Street Profits the titles but then again with Street Profits winning on the pre-show it not only gets the crowd hot but at the same time legitimizes Street Profits as far as being champions since they just won the titles not all that long ago but it begs the question of which tag team is next in line for the RAW Tag Team Championships?
- I wonder if any NXT superstars here in your diary will debut on RAW tomorrow night the night after WrestleMania 36?
- Liv Morgan winning the Women's Battle Royal no doubt does wonders for her. I mean yeah sure whoever wins the Women's Battle Royal they are like relevant for like a few days or even a few weeks but then after that they fade into obscurity. So that being said I have to wonder if that will be more of the same with Liv Morgan winning? I mean sure she should get a push here but will she? Now that is the main question to answer
- I can expect more returns in the Women's division soon enough like Nia Jax, Ember Moon, etc.
- I can only speculate as to who The Hacker is? I think The Hacker has to be either Mustafa Ali or it has to be Chad Gable...one of the 2 of them because they haven't been seen on WWE TV in a while
- King Corbin taking out Elias before their match even gets started...well I can't say that I am surprised and I will tell you why. You obviously want to carry the feud over but then at the same time you want to get major heat on Corbin who is probably one of the biggest heels in the WWE right now so...what better way to do that than by him taking out Elias right here and especially on such a grand stage such as WrestleMania. However, I think Corbin he will end up having another impromptu match here at Mania but as for who his opponent will be is really anyone's guess.
- Andrade I would have thought that he would have dropped the WWE United States Championship by now especially given his real life WWE suspension but I would have thought that his suspension would have also have come into play here in this diary but it didn't. Instead you have him beat Rey Mysterio, Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza...yeah sure I get it...you wanna build up Andrade as WWE United States Champion but then again the title is barely ever defended nowadays anyway so really what are you building? To me, this win is basically insignificant.
- Aleister Black in his first WrestleMania appearance wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. I mean this basically puts Black over even more as a superstar but also on this grand stage such as WrestleMania, Black is basically 1-0 now at WrestleMania. Plus people already compare Black to a young Undertaker anyway, so you obviously want to build Black up to be the new supernatural force of the WWE. Well, you are off to a great start so I will give you that and he manages to eliminate Sheamus last...if anything that is like a dream match scenario that could happen in WWE one day.
- By having the NXT Women's Championship match open your regular WrestleMania card...is actually pretty unexpected but then again we have been seeing a lot of that lately. However, seeing Charlotte Flair beat Rhea Ripley to become the new NXT Women's Champion...I have to admit this result really irks me and I will tell you why. Charlotte doesn't need the win in all honesty and you obviously want to build Rhea Ripley up to be a future big time star in this business and by her losing to Charlotte Flair especially at WrestleMania doesn't do that. In fact quite the opposite because this sets Rhea back further. But then again Charlotte Flair is possibly the greatest Women's Champion in WWE history bar none. I mean how many reigns has she had now? 10 Women's Championships now on her resume and an NXT Women's Championship too on top of it and a Royal Rumble Match win. I mean Charlotte has virtually done it all in this business and if she had lost, it wouldn't have hurt her at all. However, now Charlotte is a 2 time NXT Women's Champion now. The target is going to be on Charlotte's back in NXT because she is going to have so many challengers down there such as: Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, Mia Yim, Candice Lerae, Rhea Ripley again, Dakota Kai, Tegan Knox, Toni Storm the NXT UK Women's Champion, I could go on and on
- Robert Roode is back...I mean where has Roode been all this time? But then again seeing Heavy Machinery (Otis & Tucker) and Mandy Rose beat Ziggler & Roode and Sonya Deville in a 6 Person Intergender Tag Team Match...I mean the storyline is probably one of your best that you have going on Smackdown Live and not just because of who is involved but also because of the whole hacker element also being involved. However, seeing the babyfaces go over the heels here, I do have to wonder if this puts Heavy Machinery into the conversation as far as the Smackdown Tag Team Championships are concerned especially with this win? Safe to say Rose and Deville are over as a tag team and both of them can go their separate ways as singles competitors in the Smackdown Women's division but then again I have to wonder if it ends up resulting in a feud between Rose and Deville with Rose obviously being the babyface and Deville being the heel there?
- The Fiend Bray Wyatt going over John Cena was not only the right call but this is really what should have happened 6 years ago. Bray Wyatt not only beats Cena but he actually dominated Cena...which not only sends a strong message that Wyatt is basically here to stay but Cena more or less is already on his way out. I mean Cena is practically in Hollywood doing movies...he is essentially a star, he is a mega star now in Hollywood just like The Rock and WWE Hall of Famer Batista are because they are movie stars too and Cena more or less is in that movie star club now in Hollywood. So I don't think we see Cena for a while if that. I don't think we see Cena again until at least WrestleMania 37 in this diary and given that it is in Hollywood, it makes sense to include Cena there. But then again with The Fiend winning...you basically build up Wyatt's supernatural mystique again. You build it back up with him as The Fiend and with him beating a future WWE Hall of Famer first ballot in Cena, then you can have The Fiend back in the discussion as far as the WWE Universal Championship is concerned.
- Kevin Owens in his first singles Mania match since WrestleMania 33 where he beat Chris Jericho to become WWE United States Champion...Owens gets another WrestleMania moment here by beating Seth Rollins in a Mania singles match but not in just any regular match, he beats Rollins in a No DQ match. I mean this match literally had everything in it and interferences from not only AOP and Murphy but then the RAW Tag Team Champions The Street Profits and the 2020 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner Aleister Black shows up too to even the odds for Owens...and then the match ending in Owens going over. I mean it definitely is the right call and with this rivalry essentially being over, I wonder where Kevin Owens goes from here? I wonder where Seth Rollins goes from here?
- Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross becoming the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions beating Asuka and Kairi Sane...it is about time. Why I say that? Asuka and Kairi Sane ever since they won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships they barely defended those titles if at all. However, with Bliss and Cross winning the titles maybe now they can defend the titles more often and actually have the titles mean something more now rather than it just being props which is what it was when Asuka and Kairi Sane had those titles. Maybe now Asuka and Kairi Sane can go their separate ways now and become singles competitors which is what they should be in the RAW Women's division if you ask me.
- Braun Strowman winning back the WWE Intercontinental Championship beating Sami Zayn but not just beating him but literally destroying him. Can you really even call this a match? More like it was a squash match but then again Braun should have never even have lost the title to begin with but now that he is IC Champion once again it begs the question of who will step up to face Braun now for the title? I can easily see it being Sheamus considering Sheamus has been on a virtual roll like Sheamus has been on a destruction path ever since coming back to WWE and he is in the best shape of his career possibly even his life and Sheamus has never won the IC Title in his career. That is the only title Sheamus hasn't won. If Sheamus were to win the IC Title, he would become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE which is why I can see it being Sheamus/Strowman for the IC Title soon enough.
- WWE Hall of Famers for this year...it makes sense that Batista would get the huge entrance given that he is the headliner for this class but then again how about the nWo...the New World Order? They deserve their own Hall of Fame entrance too given that they are as big a headliner as Batista
- But then again I wonder who ends up in the 2021 WWE Hall of Fame class for next year in Hollywood in this diary?
- Now that Roman Reigns is essentially WWE Universal Champion again, I only knew it would be a matter of time before the people would turn on Roman Reigns yet again. I mean really this is a man who overcame leukemia and yet you guys crap on his matches? I really don't understand that at all...this man overcame a life and death disease that many people die from and he came back stronger than ever. I would have expected the fans to side with Roman here especially in this match against Goldberg and given that both men are essentially legends, icons in this business that the fans would be all over this match clamoring for it. Then again now that Reigns is champion, how long before he crosses paths with The Fiend Bray Wyatt?
- I would have expected you to keep the whole Boneyard Match stipulation here with Taker and AJ Styles but you opted to go with a regular singles match instead. I have to wonder why? But then again seeing Taker beat AJ Styles, I don't think we see Taker again until next year's WrestleMania, WrestleMania 37 in Hollywood. Now as far as AJ Styles goes, with him losing here I have to wonder if AJ Styles takes a break for a bit? Or if he ends up in a feud for the WWE Championship or he ends up in a feud with The Rated R Superstar Edge?
- King Corbin's impromptu match is none other than against Gronk...Rob Gronkowski...the WrestleMania host I figured that this would happen. Gronk in his first ever Mania manages to beat King Corbin...this basically not only sends the fans home happy but then again Gronk he is a Tampa Bay Buccaneer in real life now...just came out of retirement and is now going to be playing with Brady again in Tampa Bay, and Tampa being Gronk's new city no way he was gonna lose especially to King Corbin here.
- Finally, a result I can get behind...finally a result that sends fans home happy. Becky Lynch finally drops the RAW Women's Championship and finally loses the title to Shayna Baszler. This is really what should have happened in real life and seeing Shayna become the new RAW Women's Champion beating The Man Becky Lynch...this not only legitimizes Shayna but this basically puts her on the map now. Plus, Becky as champion was starting to grow stale anyway. Becky did her best work when she was chasing the title as a contender and you can have her do that again. But then again I was almost expecting Ronda Rousey to show up in this match either to attack Becky or to help Shayna somehow. Shayna got the job done by herself with no help at all whatsoever which basically puts Shayna even more over as a badass heel in the WWE Women's division especially on RAW but I have to wonder if Shayna's friends her buddies, Shafir and Duke they end up coming to the main roster and they end up on RAW with Shayna?
- The New Day become Smackdown Tag Team Champions once again...this is how many title reigns now as Tag Team Champions? They are 8 time champs now...they are probably one of the greatest tag teams not just in WWE but also of all time...like they are in that discussion with teams such as: Demolition, Edge & Christian, Harlem Heat, Legion of Doom, Dudley Boyz...they are in that discussion now. They have already solidified themselves as future WWE Hall of Famers especially first ballot in the tag team division by not only just beating The Usos here but also beating Miz & Morrison and Daniel Bryan & Drew Gulak. So it begs the question of which tag team steps up to The New Day? I wonder if it ends up being Heavy Machinery? Or you have an NXT tag team show up on the main roster and join Smackdown Live...whether that ends up being the Undisputed Era or Forgotten Sons
- Bayley retaining her WWE Smackdown Women's Championship yet again beating Carmella, Naomi, Lacey Evans and even Sasha Banks it is like who has Bayley not beaten? I mean she has literally gone through the whole division on Smackdown Live beating almost every woman she has stepped in the ring with and she has been champion now for how long? Her title reign has almost been as long as Becky's has
- Edge in his first WrestleMania match in almost 9 years manages to beat Randy Orton in not just any regular match but he manages to beat him here in Last Man Standing...this match was as brutal as it comes. I mean probably one of the most violent Last Man Standing matches that I have ever seen especially at WrestleMania but of course it had to be because of the story you were trying to tell with these 2 men. Plus Edge needed this win much more than Orton did and Orton can take his long overdue break but for Edge he can go on to other things now that he is back here in WWE.
- I am shocked here at the main event and why? Not only am I shocked that Drew McIntyre went over here by becoming WWE Champion but the way the manner in which he won the title...dominating Brock like how he did I don't even think that Brock has ever been dominated like this especially at WrestleMania. McIntyre toyed with Brock actually toyed with him here...and usually Brock is the one who dominates his opponents with such ease. McIntyre managed to do just that. This no doubt sends the fans home happy but after this, I don't think we see Brock again until at least SummerSlam 2020 in this diary or Brock we don't see him again until Survivor Series 2020 or Royal Rumble 2021.

APRIL 6TH, 2020“Okay so the show opens with Drew McIntyre coming out and cutting a promo. He talks about beating Brock at Mania. He says he’s waited his whole career for this and for the first time feels like he actually deserves this. “You Deserve It” chants from the crowd. Drew says he won’t say that he slayed the Beast at Mania because that would mean he did something others have done before him. He says he decimated, maimed, and CONQUERED the Beast at Mania. No one has done what he did to Brock at Mania. Kevin Owens interrupts. He congratulates Drew, wishes him well, says he deserves it and has seen how hard Drew has worked for the title. Kevin says that he wanted to come out and be the first in line to properly challenge Drew for the title. Aleister Black’s music hits and he comes out. So we got one of those usual “everyone interrupts” type of segments here. Black says he won the Andre Battle Royal. Says for months he was waiting for people to pick a fight with him but now he wants to pick a fight with Drew. Rollins and his whole crew come out. Rollins says he thinks it’s cute Owens and Black want the shot, but he’s the Monday Night Messiah and he deserves it. Owens says he beat Rollins at Mania, he should go to the back of the line. Rollins says he has risen again, and now better than ever and is worthy. Drew puts a stop to it all and says he felt like fighting tonight, not talking and makes the challenge for an eight-man tag match tonight. Rollins agrees and says he hopes Drew, Black, and Owens can find a partner who can deal with all their egos.”
“We get an “Earlier Today” segment where we saw Becky coming out of her car. Charly ambushes her and asks if perhaps she got too cocky at Wrestlemania and that’s why she lost. Becky says she didn’t get too cocky at all. And if she remembers correctly she never tapped out, she never even lost to Shayna. Becky walks away and Charly is confused, as always. Becky was all smiles during this segment, seemingly not upset at all about what happened at Mania.” Women’s Tag Team Championship Bliss-Cross Applesauce defend against The Kabuki Warriors“First match was a Mania rematch for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Good match. Was pretty much their Mania match again but it was good! The Kabuki Warriors got the heat on Alexa for a while before the hot tag to Nikki who cleaned house. At the end of the match Asuka went to kick Nikki, who ducked, and Asuka kicked Kairi thus knocking her out. Twisted Bliss on Kairi and the champs retain. After the match Asuka was checking on Kairi, making sure she was okay.” Winners: Bliss-Cross Applesauce
“We go backstage to Charly Caruso again who is with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. She asks how AJ Styles is doing after his loss to The Undertaker. The Good Brothers are upset, they say they haven’t heard from “Uncle Allen” since yesterday. Which, let’s be honest, isn’t that long! If I don’t hear from someone for less than 24 hours, I am not getting worried at all! AJ has a family, he’s probably busy! But whatever! Gallows and Anderson say they just hope AJ can recover.”
“We see a vignette that shows Nia Jax is returning. Oh goody! She returns next.” Nia Jax vs. Jobber“I don’t remember the woman’s name. It’s not important. Nia Jax returned and destroyed this woman. Threw her around. The woman was ragdolled! Nia won with a version of Paige’s old DDT finish. Nia started doing leg drop after leg drop to the poor girl after the match until Liv Morgan ran out. Nia stared at Liv and then backed off, smirking. So I guess Nia/Liv is the program next.” Winner: Nia Jax
“We go to a black room, pitch black, I don’t know where WWE is able to find these “spooky rooms” in every arena they go to but they find them! Rowan is sitting in there, rocking back and forth on a chair. Rowan says “he” destroyed the only thing that ever loved me. “He” destroyed the only thing that ever cared about me. “He” destroyed the one thing that made my life worth living. So now Rowan is going to destroy everyone and everything to make everyone feel the pain he is going through.”
“In the locker room Drew, Owens, and Black and getting ready. Owens asks Black if he found a partner, then says “Nevermind. I know you don’t have friends.” He turns to Drew and asks and Drew smiles and says he has found a partner!” Rowan vs. Ricochet“Rowan comes out and Ricochet is already in the ring. That poor guy. Fought Brock Lesnar for the WWE Title and now doesn’t get an entrance on Raw for his match against Rowan! Anyway, Rowan squashes Ricochet. It was just a squash. Rowan destroyed him. Threw him around, hit him with the claw-chokeslam that he does three times. Rowan is a madman now! A man possessed as the announcers love saying. Rowan wins. Ricochet looked horrible here.” Winner: Rowan
"Riddick Moss is walking backstage. He stops in his tracks as Jack Gallagher shows up. That was a surprise. A 205 guy making it to Raw. Gallagher introduces himself and then headbutts Moss and pins him to become the new 24/7 champion."
“We get a Charlotte promo next. She comes out and gloats about being the NXT Champion. Loud “Rhea” chants and “NXT” chants. Fans are not happy to see Charlotte with that belt. Charlotte says she decided to go after the NXT title because she’s already done everything she can do on Raw and Smackdown! Says she beat everybody already and now wants to go to NXT to beat everybody there! She tells the Raw crowd to get one last look at the Queen. She does a little Flair-Twirl. She says “Woo!” and then leaves. So I guess Charlotte is moved to NXT full-time now. I mean she’s not wrong. She has done everything she can do. She HAS beaten everybody. I guess this is to give her new people to fight and to hopefully boost NXT’s ratings.” Shayna Baszler vs. Jobber“Shayna comes out for her first match as champion. Again, not gonna bother looking up this girl’s name that she fought. Shayna destroys her, obviously. She breaks the girl’s arm! That’s what the commentators told us, she broke the woman’s arm by stomping on it. The referee stops the match and Shayna wins by referee stoppage. Shayna grabs the mic and says this is her division now and she will break every bitch here. She used the “bitch” word. There’s our mandatory one “bitch” of the night.” Winner: Shayna Baszler
“Ricochet is pouting backstage. Pouting, dude’s almost in tears! All because he lost again, he honestly should be used to that by now. MVP then shows up and tells Ricochet he needs an image change, a management change, and MVP is the guy to do it. MVP gives Ricochet a business card and leaves. Ricochet looks at it and ponders.” Bobby Lashley/w Lana vs. Humberto Carrillo“Lashley versus Humberto is next. Weird match. Feels like they plucked two names out of a hat for this one. Lashley dominates but there is a good back and forth throughout but it’s clearly Lashley’s match. Lashley has Humberto beat and Lana screams at Lashley to Spear Humberto. Lashley is like saying he has him beat, he's just gonna pin him. Lana screams again “SPEAR HIM!” Lashley reluctantly goes for a spear but Humberto counters with a roll-up for the win. Humberto rolls to the outside to celebrate as Lashley looks at Lana like “You cost me!” So I guess we are already getting the Lana/Lashley break-up angle. That didn’t last long. Who saw that coming?!” Winner: Humberto Carrillo
“The Street Profits are backstage and do their usual schtick. They run down what happened at Mania. They make guesses as to who Drew, Owens, and Black’s partner is going to be. Then they say they need to leave because they are commentating the next match." Andrade & Angel Garza/w Zelina Vega vs. The Viking Raiders“Street Profits are on commentary for this. They are loud! Oh my God, dude! They are so loud and this was like a 15 minute match! 15 minutes of just yelling! It was a good match though, the wrestling was good! The Viking Raiders won with the Viking Experience on Garza. After the match Andrade starts beating down the Raiders. Angel gets up and and helps. Zelina takes off her heels and starts hitting the Raiders with it. Sarah Logan runs out and tackles Zelina! The Raiders start fighting back and throw Andrade and Angel to the outside. Zelina rolls out and runs away as the Viking Raiders and Sarah Logan stand together. I mean, Logan wasn’t doing anything anyway so this makes sense. Might as well.” Winners: The Viking Raiders
“We see a vignette for NXT UK “standout” Ridge Holland and he debuts next.” Ridge Holland vs. No Way Jose“Ridge comes out to almost no reaction. I don’t think the crowd knows who he is. I honestly, I swear to God, don’t know if one person knew who he was. He comes out in a hat and a jacket and has some sort of club like thing with him. Ridge makes short work of Jose, showing off his power. Ridge Holland gets the win with Northern Grit.” Winner: Ridge Holland
“In the locker room we see Chelsea Green and Robert Stone staring directly into the hard cam. Stone says for too long talent has been wasted in the WWE and he is here to change that. The Robert Stone brand and it’s first client Chelsea Green are coming to Monday Night Raw.” Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens, Aleister Black, & Partner vs. Seth Rollins, Murphy, & AOP“Main event time. The heels come out first. Owens comes out, then Black, then Drew. We are waiting to see who the partner is and finally it’s revealed as Edge! Huge pop from the crowd! I was starting to think maybe Edge wasn’t even going to be here. I have no idea how they plan on using him and how often they plan on using him. Great treat for the live fans though. Fantastic match! Oh my God this was such a good match! Maybe ran a little long, but it was good! All of these guys worked so well together! Finish came when Drew hit Murphy with the Claymore and then tagged in Edge who Spears Murphy for the win. All the faces celebrate to end the show. Drew gets on the turnbuckle and poses with the title as we see Owens, Black, and Edge all staring at the title as Drew raises it.” Winners: Drew, Owens, Black, and Edge

Alright, I think the layout could be a lot better. All of the lines are pretty ugly to look at, and there are so many of them it doesn’t look pretty. I’d recommend looking back at the sites I recommended, and just getting more of an idea from the shows other writers are putting out just to spruce this up better. Secondly, I think the writing style could be executed a lot better. It reads as if a road agent is reporting on the show, which isn’t a bad thing - but the quotations marks aren’t necessary. I’m sure you can think of better ways to start a show than with “Okay”. That said the tone is pretty good, I’d step away from using terms like “good match” though. What makes these matches good? Your terminology is pretty good, you know how to build anticipation. Onto the show’s contents itself, it feels like a three hour Raw a lot more than some other shows, but maybe a few too many squash/short matches on there. For a three hour structure I’d have had one or two more competitive matches just to narrow it out. We’re seeing a lot of follow-on from WrestleMania, and that main event is a post-Mania Raw main event no doubt. I’m not too keen on calling up Chelsea Green so soon, nor using Ridge Holland - who even I don’t know - on the main roster. You gave us a little insight into who Robert Stone was with that backstage segment, but you could afford to tell the reader more about who Ridge Holland is. In a vignette what are we seeing? Who is he, and what is Ridge Holland about? I have no qualms with using Edge in the main event given it’s the night after WrestleMania, but I hope he’s used sparingly and appropriately at this stage of his career. Sort of like Brock Lesnar. Overall it’s not a bad base to work off of, but there are a few things to work on, the writing style being the major one.

Secondly, I think the writing style could be executed a lot better. It reads as if a road agent is reporting on the show, which isn’t a bad thing - but the quotations marks aren’t necessary. 1. I did try the borders like you guys use, but it cuts off half of the text when looking on mobile. And I like to go through the mobile site and re-read everything I post due to my OCD. Try to make sure there isn't any misspellings or anything. So I know it doesn't look as pretty, but it is mobile friendly, and I personally prefer that. 2. I am currently in a writing workshop for a TV network and they told us to write something in someone else's voice. So I was using this as that sort of outlet. Like when you read it, picture Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio. That's the style I was going for. As if Bryan Alvarez was reviewing it on the radio show. I sincerely appreciate your feedback!

I think I speak for all the people here that this should've been the WrestleMania instead of this damn coronavirus pandemic. But it's good to see a what if storyline. I like it. I got my own diary from 93 and 97 if you would like to check it out.

APRIL 10TH, 2020
WHAT'S ON THE SHOW TONIGHT?! Smackdown this week opens with some announcements. They let us know we will hear from the new Universal Champion Roman Reigns tonight as well as Braun defending the IC Title against Nakamura.
THE NEW (DAY) TAG CHAMPS START THE SHOW! New Day’s music hits and out comes the new tag team champions. The eight-time tag team champions! New Day cut a promo about being eight time champs. They mention doing it for Woods back at home. We see a video Woods made and sent in, celebrating their tag team title victory at Mania. Kofi and Big E say it’s time to celebrate the only way they know how but they are cut off by the music of the Forgotten Sons! So the Forgotten Sons are on Smackdown now. It’s just Blake and Cutler it seems. Cutler says for too long they have been forgotten. After everything they did for our country just to be treated like garbage. They say that no more will they be forgotten and it all starts with making the New Day REMEMBER who they are. Just then Jaxson Ryker attacks Big E and Kofi from behind. The Sons all slide in and lay waste to the New Day. Eventually the Sons throw Big E to the outside where Ryker shoves Big E into the steel ring steps. Cutler and Blake hit their team finish on Kofi in the ring. The Forgotten Sons all raise their arms in the ring, letting New Day know who they are.
DANIEL BRYAN & DREW GULAK VS. THE MIZ & JOHN MORRISON We are back from the break and we have Bryan & Gulak taking on Miz & Morrison. Pretty standard fare tag team match. Miz & Morrison got the heat on Gulak for a while. Miz & Morrison took turns working over Gulak’s legs. Miz eventually hits a Figure Four on Gulak who comes close to tapping but is saved by Bryan. Gulak tags Bryan who cleans house. We get Bryan doing the big dive onto Miz and Morrison on the outside. Bryan gets Miz and Morrison both on their knees in the center of the ring. Bryan & Gulak together hit the YES Kicks onto Miz & Morrison. We get your usual tag team “chaos” towards the end. Gulak takes Morrison to the outside as Bryan looks Miz into the YES Lock, making Miz tap out. Bryan and Gulak celebrate their victory as Morrison and Miz start bickering on their way to the back. Winners: Daniel Bryan & Drew Gulak
BAYLEY IS STILL ON TOP! We are back from commercial and Sasha Banks and Bayley make their way to the ring. Bayley has the mic and brags about retaining her title at Mania. She says no one thought she would do it, no one thought she could do it, but she did it. She says even when they don’t mean to, she and Sasha still work beautifully as a team and that teamwork helped her retain her title at Mania. As Bayley says this we can see Sasha sorta shooting her a look, as if to say “I didn’t want you to win at Mania.” Bayley goes on and on about beating every single woman on the Smackdown roster and now there is no one left to challenge her. So she is officially going to stop wrestling and remain champion until a new contender arises. Someone she hasn’t beaten ten times over. As she says this we hear Mia Yim’s music hit. Mia makes her debut and gets into the ring. Mia immediately gets into Bayley’s face which Sasha breaks up. Mia says there is someone new on the Smackdown roster and Bayley is looking at her. Bayley may be the champ, but Mia is the HBIC. Sasha grabs the mic and says how dare Mia interrupt the champion like this. Mia calls Sasha “Bayley’s lapdog” and says if Sasha wants to fight Bayley’s battle for her, then go be her guest! Sasha drops the mic and she starts talking to Bayley. We get a ref in the ring as we head to commercial so it looks like a match.
MIA YIM VS. SASHA BANKS/W BAYLEY Mia starts the match hot and runs and tackles Sasha and lays into her with some punches. Sasha rolls out of the ring and talks to Bayley to regroup. Mia slides outside and gives chase to Sasha, who runs around the ring. Sasha slides in, followed by Mia, but it gives Sasha the advantage to lay into Mia with stomps. Sasha takes control of the match from here. Sasha works over Mia while gloating and taunting the crowd. Mia finally takes back control and lands a solid punch right to Sasha’s nose. Sasha rolls out of the ring and holds her nose. Bayley goes to check on her, as Mia runs and hits a Suicide Dive onto both ladies. Mia controls Sasha from here on out. Mia continues to work over the face/nose of Sasha. Sasha is able to poke Mia in the eyes, giving her the advantage. Sasha goes for the Bank Statement but Mia holds onto the ropes, allowing Sasha to crash to the mat. Mia hits Seoul Food on Sasha and covers her. Mia gets a close two-count before Bayley breaks up the pin. Bayley starts stomping away on Mia. Bayley grabs her title and waits for Mia to get to her feet. Bayley swings away and cracks Mia in the skull with the Women’s Title. Bayley holds her title high as she stands over Mia’s now lifeless body. Winner: Mia Yim via DQ
KAYLA GETS AN UNUSUAL GUEST! We are back from commercial and Kayla Braxton is backstage. Kayla does the usual “Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time, King Corbin.” However we don’t get Corbin. We see Kayla look sorta frightened and uneasy. Slowly Dexter Lumis walks into frame. Kayla is very uncomfortable now. Lumis stares at Kayla for a bit before saying “You look beautiful tonight.” Lumis walks away and Kayla tells the camera to cut, she’s not doing the interview tonight.
SHEAMUS VS. HEATH SLATER We go to the ring and Slater is already in the ring. Sheamus makes his way out and absolutely destroys Slater. Not much to it, really. Sheamus obliterates Slater and everything he stands for. Sheamus hits a big Brogue Kick on Slater for the three count in under four minutes. Winner: Sheamus
THE KING HAS ARRIVED...AND HE'S NOT HAPPY! As Sheamus is posing on the turnbuckle we hear King Corbin’s voice screaming “NO! NO! NO! NO!” Corbin comes out on stage and says he requested an interview to get something off his chest so no one is going to ruin that for him tonight. Corbin says at Mania the match with Gronk did not count. You can look in the history books, the match did not exist! Mojo is not a WWE official. Gronk did not have that kind of power. He did not lose at Wrestlemania. He beat Elias by forfeit and that’s it. We heard a loud “DUDE!” and Jeff Hardy makes his way out onto the stage. Hardy looks at Corbin and says that no one wants to hear any of your excuses or complaints! As a matter of fact, he thinks a lot of people came to see Corbin get his ass kicked tonight. The crowd cheers as Hardy drops the mic and starts laying into Corbin. Corbin and Hardy exchange punches as security and refs come out to break it up.
MANDY ROSE VS. SONYA DEVILLE We get a video package recapping the feud between Mandy/Sonya. Sonya sending Otis the text, Sonya saying Mandy wanted the attention for herself, all that jazz. Mandy comes out first, she does her pose on the stage. She turns around and waves for somebody. Otis then comes out and they make their way to the ring together. Sonya makes her way to the ring by herself. Otus gives Mandy a kiss on the cheek before the match starts. Sonya and Mandy come out swinging. These two ladies clearly have more to give as Mania did not quench their thirst for revenge. This match is a brawl more so than a “wrestling match.” Mandy ends up getting control and hits Sonya with a huge high-knee strike. Just then, Dolph Ziggler hops the guardrail and shoves Otis into the turnbuckle post on the outside. Mandy is distracted long enough for Sonya to roll her up with a handful of tights for the win. Sonya and Dolph celebrate up the ramp as Mandy checks on a knocked out Otis. Winner: Sonya Deville
BRAUN STROWMAN DEFENDS THE IC TITLE AGAINST SHINSUKE NAKAMURA Braun comes out first and proudly raises up his IC Title. Nakamura makes his way to the ring with just Cesaro by his side. Sami Zayn is nowhere to be seen. Braun and Nakamura have a competitive, back-and-forth battle. Nakamura’s gameplan is kicking the legs of Braun, trying to chop the big man down while Braun uses Beals and his power to gain the advantage. At one point Braun goes to run the ropes and Cesaro holds onto his foot, allowing Nakamura to hit a huge running kick to the face for a close two-count. Cesaro tries interfering again but Braun grabs Cesaro and brings him into the ring. Braun hits a running powerslam on Cesaro, which distracts him long enough for Nakamura to hit a huge knee to the back of Braun’s knee. Nakamura continues to chop Braun down. Nakamura goes for Kinshasa but Braun catches him for the powerslam. Bruan gets to his feet and connects with the running powerslam for the three to retain his title. Winner: Braun Strowman
THE BIG DOG RECLAIMS HIS YARD! Roman Reigns comes out and does his usual entrance with the pyro and all. Roman gets to the ring and climbs the turnbuckle. He raises his Universal Title high and you can see how happy he is to be holding it again. Roman gets in the ring and grabs the mic. Roman waits and lets the crowd chant anything and everything at him. Roman says it feels so good to be able to hold the Universal title again. He says it’s the title he never lost. He gave up this title in a way no man should but now it feels so so good to be able to call himself Universal champion again. Roman starts to say something but is interrupted by the Firefly Funhouse theme. We see Bray in the Funhouse. Bray congratulates Roman, mentions what a hard road Roman went through to get the title back. Bray says Roman inspires him. Roman’s journey is one of inspiration. Bray says that Roman getting the title back has inspired “him” to get the title back. Bray says that a mean man with a Spear took the title away from him. So it’s only fair that he takes the title from another mean man with a Spear. Afterall, Roman was pretty mean in the past. We see footage of Roman beating up Bray in their Hell in a Cell match. We cut back to Bray who looks more serious now. Bray says “remember….anyone but you, Roman.” Bray then does his usual “Goodbye! So long!” outro. We cut back to Roman in the ring who doesn’t look concerned at all. Roman says if The Fiend wants the title, he better come ready because it will take a lot more to take this title from Roman this time around. Roman holds the title high as his music hits and the show fades to black.

Much needed fix on the layout, far better than it was for previous shows. The Impact font is pretty effective. The writing is also much better and can open you up to delving deeper into characters and storylines, than I think RAW's style would have allowed. On the show front we're seeing a blend of real life storylines being capitalized on here, with continuations from WrestleMania being the focal point. Nothing too progressive, being only days separated from the big show, but I'll be interested in your direction towards Money in the Bank over the next week of shows. Roman and Bray building to a rematch should be good, and I hope we see what you can do for this given we didn't get to see the build for WrestleMania's match. In terms of callups, I feel like Dexter Lumis isn't the worst pick in the world although it must be a gutpunch for NXT. Lumis and Bray Wyatt on the same brand is an interesting decision, given they share similar character traits. Mia Yim is probably better served up on the main roster at this point. Keep it going.

WHAT'S ON THE SHOW TONIGHT?! Tonight on Raw it’s a Triple Threat to see who will face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank, as Kevin Owens battles Aleister Black and Seth Rollins!
DREW MCINTYRE VS. RIDDICK MOSS Drew McIntyre’s music hits and he comes out to the roar of the crowd for a non-title match. Riddick Moss is already in the ring as Drew comes out proudly showing off the WWE Title. The bell rings and Drew makes quick work of Riddick. Drew uses his power game to out-power the big man. Drew hits the Glasgow Kiss and counts down before laying out Riddick with the Claymore for the win. Winner: Drew McIntyre
DREW VS. THE MAN?! After the match Drew gets the mic and says that he will be watching the main event tonight closely. And...before he can spit out his next word the arena is filled with Becky Lynch’s entrance music. The Man makes her way down to the ring, feeling as confident as ever. Becky grabs and mic and stares up Drew. Becky says that The Man is still the very best athlete WWE has. She said she is not one to live in the past, let alone a past where she never technically gave up. Becky says she wants something bigger! Something grander! She is a bonafide legend now and she wants dream matches. Becky says there was a lot of talk backstage that Becky could beat any man in the WWE. She says she has something in mind and stares at Drew’s WWE Championship. Becky asks Drew how he feels about defending the WWE Championship against The Man. Drew kinda smiles and tells Becky that he respects her greatly and does think she’s one of the best but beating up Lasses is more her thing than his. Drew walks past her and exits the ring. Becky stands in the ring and declares that next week, The Man gets back on top where she belongs. She says that next week, it is a GUARANTEE, Becky walks out of Raw with a championship. The announcers speculate more after Becky tried to beat Shayna at her own game at Mania, then tries to challenge Drew if Becky is getting too cocky for her own good.
ANGEL GARZA SHOOTS HIS SHOT! We return from the break where Charly Caruso catches up with Drew McIntyre. Charly asks Drew if he has a preference on who he wants to face at Money in the Bank. Drew says it doesn’t matter to him. He promised to be a fighting champion so he will defend it against anyone that tries to step to him. Drew walks away as Angel Garza walks into frame. Garza hands Charly a rose and says he saw the rose earlier today and thought it was absolutely beautiful, just like Charly. As Angel says this the entire screen starts to flicker and go between the segment and a screen that says “The Truth Will Be Revealed”.
ANDRADE, ANGEL GARZA, & ZELINA VEGA VS. THE VIKING RAIDERS & SARAH LOGAN After the attack last week, this match starts hot and heavy! Andrade & Garza start brawling with the Viking Raiders as Zelina slides to the outside of the ring and runs away from Sara Lohan who is chasing her like a predator after her prey. Eventually the referee gets everything settled down and the match can properly start. A real back and forth contest as any time the Vikings got the advantage, Angel & Andrade would use dastardly tactics to gain the upper hand. Eventually Andrade and Angel settle on working over Erik’s left arm. Andrade applies an armbar that almost makes Erik submit, but he is able to get up and slam Andrade off of his arm. Ivar gets tagged in and cleans house, knocking down Angel & Andrade as they keep charging him. Ivar hits the cartwheel and hits a double clothesline to Andrade and Angel. Ivar then points to Sarah, which the crowd cheers on. Ivar tags in Sarah, now making Zelna legal. Zelina tries to run away but Sarah catches her and slams her around the ring. Sarah ragdolls Zelina. Angel distracts the ref long enough for Zelina to poke Sarah in the eyes. This allows Zelina enough time to tag in Angel. The match devolves into chaos as Logan hits a tackle on Zelina on the outside. Andrade gets thrown ass over tea kettle to the outside. Angel charges but gets caught with The Viking Experience for the three count. Winners: The Viking Raiders and Sarah Logan
ANDRADE MEETS RUSEV DAY! The Viking Raiders and Sarah Logan celebrate up the ramp as Andrade checks on Zelina. Andrade slides in and checks on Angel until you hear a roar from the crowd. The camera pans and we see Rusev hopping the barricade. Rusev slides in the ring and hits Andrade with a Machka Kick. Rusev holds up the United States championship quickly before running back through the crowd.
MVP GETS A CLIENT! Riddick is sitting on a crate backstage when MVP approaches him. MVP says he sees a lot in Riddick but he just likes the right guidance. MVP hands Riddick a business card as Riddick walks away. Ricochet walks up to MVP, surprising him, Ricochet says he thought about MVP’s offer and he would like to talk. MVP smiles and rubs his hands together., clearly happy with Ricochet’s response.
A MAN OF FEW WORDS! Charly is standing by with her guest Ridge Holland. Charly mentions that on NXT UK, no one really knew anything about Ridge. There was a lot of mystery around him. So Charly asks if Ridge would care to give the Raw audience some insight into Ridge Holland. Ridge stares at Charly, tips his hat to her, then walks away without saying a word. Charly says “Looks like Ridge Holland is still a mystery to the WWE Universe.”
NIA JAX SQUASHES THE COMPETITION! Nia Jax comes out and once again destroys her nameless opponent. Nia makes very short work, throwing and tossing her opponent around the ring. Nia knocks the woman out with a leg drop but picks her up and hits the Rampaige DDT and pins her. Nia Jax gets her hand raised then picks her lifeless opponent up again. Nia picks her up for the Rampaige again until Liv Morgan runs out. Liv grabs the poor girl and pulls her from Nia’s grasp. Nia and Liv stare down before Nia just laughs and walks away. Winner: Nia Jax
MARITAL BLISS? Back from the break and Lashley and Lana are seen arguing backstage. Charly slowly approaches the couple and asks if there is some marital woes after what happened last week. Lana tells Charly it’s none of her business and Lashley tells Charly she needs to learn not to butt in when it’s not about her…..like some other people. Lashley shoots a look at Lana before walking away,
WE WANT THE SMOKE...AND COMPETITION! We go to the ring and the Street Profits are getting the crowd riled up! Montez says after last week and tonight, The Viking Raiders have proven they are worthy of a shot at the tag team titles. Angelo says the tag team division is stacked right now but not a single team can touch the Street Profits. Montez then lists all the tag teams from Viking Raiders to AOP to Hawkins & Ryder to Andrade & Garza, with Angela roasting each team after Montez name drops them. The Street Profits do their usual schtick and right before they can say “We want the smoke” they are attacked from behind by the debuting Rinku & Saurav. The two huge men lay waste to the Profits laying out the tag team champions. All of a sudden, Jinder Mahal’s music hits as the former WWE Champion makes his return to Raw. Jinder gets in the ring and says he realizes his previous mistakes. He surrounded himself with pawns, with lackeys, but what he really needs is monsters. Jinder introduces the universe to Rinku & Saurav and says that now with total power on his side, he will reclaim his WWE Championship. Jinder drops the mic and poses with his new duo as Street Profits lay, not moving a muscle.
ROWAN VS. REY MYSTERIO Rowan comes out hot but Rey is able to use his speed to chop at the legs of Rowan. Rey is able to handle the onslaught of Rowan at the start before Rowan is able to hit Rey with a Big Boot that almost takes his head off. Rowan hits Rey with a huge backbreaker, looking like Bane & Batman come to life. Rowan continues to destroy Rey, especially Rey’s surgically repaired knee. Rey is able to catch Rowan with a head scissors that takes Rowan to the outside. Rowan tries to climb back in but as he is on his knees on the apron, Rey hits a 619, catching Rowan on the back of the head. Rowan falls into the ring and pulls himself up to the second rope, allowing Rey to hit a second 619. Rey goes to the top, on one leg essentially, and hits a splash on Rowan for the three count. Rey is barely able to stand as he gets his hand raised. Rowan comes to and loses his mind. Rowan kicks Rey’s “leg out of his leg”. The referee tries to stop Rowan who throws the ref to the mat. Rowan picks up Rey and brings him to the outside. Rowan grabs the steel ring steps and proceeds to smash Rey’s leg on the ground with the steps. Shot after shot of the ring steps smashing Rey’s leg before security and referees pull Rowan off. Rey is left screaming in pain, despite winning the match. Winner: Rey Mysterio
NATALYA VS. RUBY RIOTT Back from the break, Nattie and Ruby reignite an old rivalry. Nattie clearly hasn’t forgotten what Ruby has done in the past and starts the match with a huge slap. Nattie and Ruby go back and forth, Ruby relying on strikes and brawling. Using the ropes to her advantage. Nattie relies on her technical ability, constantly locking Ruby into holds. Ruby goes for the Riott Kick but Nattie catches her foot and readjusts to lock Ruby into the Sharpshooter, forcing Ruby to submit. Nattie gets her hands raised when all of a sudden her attention is drawn to the entrance ramp. We see Shayna Baszler standing on the top of the ramp slowly clapping for Nattie. Winner: Natalya
ROBERT STONE BRAND'S FIRST PHOTOSHOOT! Backstage we see the WWE.com staff conducting a photoshoot with Chelsea Green. As Chelsea gets her photos taken, Robert Stone explains that he can see a diamond in the rough. He can spot talent that maybe the WWE has forgotten about that WWE has overlooked. He says that Chelsea, for far too long, worked live events. No TV time, strictly live events for most of her WWE contract and he knew that wasn’t right. He started the Robert Stone Brand to help the stars the WWE are too afraid to create. With him by Chelsea’s side she went from live events, to Raw debut, to her first WWE.com photoshoot. With Robert Stone by anyone’s side, they too can take their game to the next level.
FIGHTING 24/7! Back in the ring Jack Gallagher is standing with his 24/7 Championship. Jack says he is tired of seeing man after man receive opportunity and make no use of it. He likes to fight, the 24/7 Championship allows you the right to fight 24/7. So he will do what he does bst and that is fight. Jack lays the title on the mat and challenges anyone to come and take his title. R-Truth’s music hits and Jack gets in a fighting stance. However, Truth appears behind Jack and rolls him up.. Jack kicks out quickly at one. Jack gets to his feet first and lays R-Truth out with a headbutt. Jack covers Truth and the referee counts the three. Jack raises the title high and grabs the mic again. Jack says he is willing to actually defend this championship. And if no one is brave enough to challenge him, he will start making the challenges himself. Winner: Jack Gallagher
KEVIN OWENS VS. ALEISTER BLACK VS. SETH ROLLINS It’s main event time and all three men look ready to fight! The match starts with Black & Owens double teaming Seth, taking out the man they both hate. After a while of each men getting their shots in on Seth, Seth rolls to the outside, barely can walk so Owens and Black turn their attention to each other. Black and Owens exchange strikes with Black getting the advantage. Black knocks out Owens with a huge knee strike, Seth pulls Black to the outside and throws him against the barricade. Seth takes advantage of Black’s work as Seth has controls over Owens. After several failed pin attempts by Seth, Black gets back in the ring and the match starts to get crazy. All men exchange who has control, each man trying to beat the others with Pop-Up Powerbombs, Dragon Sleepers, and Buckle Bombs. Eventually the match boils down to Owens and Black again. Aleister is able to hit the Black Mass on Owens and pins him. However before the ref can hit three, Murphy appears and pulls Black out of the ring. Murphy and Black start to brawl as AOP slide in the ring and start stomping away on Owens. Rollins joins Murphy as they take out Black. They throw him over the barricade into the time keeper’s area. Murphy and Rollins join AOP as Drew McIntyre runs down the ramp. Murphy goes to meet Drew halfway and catches a Claymore for his trouble. AOP go to the outside and the two men start battling with Drew. Drew tries evening the odds but in the ring Seth is able to hit Owens with the Curb Stomp and cover him for the three. Seth wins and Drew is able to escape AOP and slide in the ring. Seth hightails it up the ramp with AOP as they raise Seth’s arms in victory. Drew stands in the ring calling on Seth to fight. Drew gets out of the ring and Seth & AOP run to the back. Drew doesn’t give chase and instead throws Murphy into the ring. Drew does the count down and lays out Murphy with another Claymore. Drew holds the WWE title high as the show comes to a close. Winner: Seth Rollins

APRIL 17TH, 2020 ON THE SHOW TONIGHT! Braun Strowman defends the Intercontinental Championship against Cesaro! Plus, it’s Jeff Hardy vs. King Corbin in the first Money in the Bank qualifying match!
BIG E VS. STEVE CUTLER Smackdown this week opens up big with Big E as he takes on Steve Cutler from the Forgotten Sons. The Forgotten Sons debuted last week assaulting the tag team champions so Big E is looking to settle the score tonight. Kofi is managing Big E as Ryker and Blake are in Cutler’s corner. The match is a hard hitting affair. Big E and Cutler go Clothesline for Clothesline seeing who can take the other man down first, with Big E eventually succeeding. Big E controls Cutler using the power game, utilizing slams and charges and shoulder blocks. Big E goes for the Big Splash but Cutler gets his knees up and gains control. Cutler works over the knee of Big E and really grinds the knee of Big Wool. Big E eventually powers out of a single leg Boston Crab and starts to mount his comeback. As Big E claps, setting up the Big Ending, Jaxson Ryker takes out Kofi on the outside. Ryker throws Kofi into the ring steps and into the barricade. This distracts Big E long enough for Cutler to roll him with a handful of his singlet to get the win. Cutler, Blake, and Ryker raise their arms on the ramp as Big E checks on his fallen New Day partner. Winner: Steve Cutler
THE DIRT SHEET RUMORS?! Backstage we see Miz and Morrison arguing. We hear Morrison bring up the fact that Miz got pinned at Wrestlemania and tapped out last week. Kayla Braxton enters into this argument asking the duo if there are some issues brewing between the two. Miz is quick to put a stop to those accusations. Miz says that he and Morrison have hit a rough patch, but every couple does at some point! They are going to work through it, together. Miz says he has even gone a step further and has gotten John Morrison a Money in the Bank qualifying match next week against Otis! Morrison tells Kayla that next week, MC M-I-Z and Johnny Drip Drip get back on track!
KAYLA’S BIGGEST FAN! After Miz and Morrison leave, we see Dexter Lumis standing right behind Kayla. Kayla goes to leave and backs into Lumis, which scares her. “No need to be afraid, Kayla. I’m actually your biggest fan.” says Lumis. Kayla awkwardly smiles at him before fleeing the scene. SASHA BANKS & BAYLEY VS. LACEY EVANS & MIA YIM
Sasha starts off the match against Mia Yim. Sasha is looking for revenge for losing last week, while Mia is looking for revenge for having her win stolen from her by Bayley. Mia and Sasha start things off by exchanging hands! They are going blow for blow, tearing into each other. Sasha grabs Mia’s hair, giving her the advantage to smash Mia’s face into the turnbuckle. Bayley gets tagged in and the Boss n’ Hug Connection hit a double suplex on Mia. Bayley and Sasha continue to double team Mia throughout the match, keeping Mia in their corner and away from Lacey Evans. Bayley is on the apron and she is holding Mia’s arms back. Sasha charges at Mia, but Yim moves out of the way and Sasha accidentally takes out Bayley! Mia tags in Lacey who goes to town on Sasha. Lacey is destroying Sash as Bayley gets to her feet on the outside but is met with Mia Yim leaping from the turnbuckle and crashing down into her. Lacey Evans hits Sasha with the Women’s Right. Lacey tags in Mia who picks up Sasha and hits Seoul Food for the three count. Mia and Lacey celebrate as Bayley takes her title and leaves Sasha motionless in the ring. Winners: Mia Yim & Lacey Evans
THE CELTIC WARRIOR DOMINATES! Sheamus makes his way to the ring and his poor opponent looks scared to death. We don’t even know the man’s name before Sheamus hits him with the Brogue Kick and gets the quick three count. Sheamus takes the mic after the match and says he came back to Smackdown to fight and so far he hasn’t been given any competition. He says that he has been waiting since January for a proper fight and he isn’t going anywhere until he gets one! Just then, the music of the Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman hits! Braun makes his way into the ring and gets right in Sheamus’s face. “If you want a fight, I’m right here!” says Strowman to the roar of the crowd. Sheamus smirks and says “I said I wanted a fight, not to give out another arse beating like I already have tonight.” Sheamus smirks and bumps Braun’s shoulder on the way out.
INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP BRAUN STROWMAN DEFENDS AGAINST CESARO Cesaro comes out by himself, no Nakamura, no Zayn. Braun looks ready to destroy the third member of the artist collective and retain his title. Braun seemed to think this one was going to be easy but Cesaro starts the match hard and heavy with European Uppercuts. Cesaro takes the fight to Braun early and has the big man rocking. Cesaro starts to chip away at Braun’s legs until he is down on both knees. That is when Cesaro lights Braun up with uppercut after uppercut. Cesaro hits the ropes as Braun gets to his feet and Cesaro lays him out with a Springboard Uppercut that only garners him a two count. Cesaro continues to bring the action fast, clearly having a gameplan in mind. Cesaro starts working over the arms of Strowman. Cesaro tries to weaken every limb of Braun so he can’t stand and can’t lift. Cesaro runs the ropes but is met with a huge Clothesline that almost takes him out of his socks! Braun is limping and shaking his arms, trying to get feeling back in them. Braun throws Cesaro from corner to corner and unleashes a huge chop across his chest. Cesaro bails to the outside and Braun looks to the crowd as they know what comes next. Braun gets out of the ring and starts to build up a head of steam, with Cesaro being the unfortunate target. Braun turns the first corner, then the second, but when Braun turns that third corner he runs full steam ahead into a Brogue Kick from Sheamus, who appears out of nowhere. Braun is knocked out cold as the ref calls for the bell. Winner: Braun Strowman via DQ
A MONEY IN THE BANK CHALLENGE! Sheamus grabs the mic and stands over Braun’s body and says “On second thought. I will accept that challenge! See you at Money in the Bank, fella!”
AN IICONIC RETURN! Backstage we see Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross talking. Kayla Braxton approaches the ladies and ask them what is next for the tag team champions. Before Alexa can speak we hear exaggerated coughing from off screen. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce make their way into frame and say that it has been far too long since Smackdown had worthy tag team champions. Royce says that “Bliss-Cross Applesauce” are not worthy of holding the title that the IIconics won at Wrestlemania. The division has gone downhill since the IIconics left but they are back and ready to take what is theirs. Billie says “You two as tag team champions….yeah….you gotta be joking me! It’s a disgrace!” Nikki now is overly energized and makes a challenge for a non-title match next week which the IIconics accept!
MONEY IN THE BANK QUALIFYING MATCH King Corbin vs. Jeff Hardy The crowd is 100% behind Hardy in this one! Hardy starts the match on the offensive and has Corbin reeling! Corbin is able to shove Hardy off and take a powder. Hardy leaps over the ropes and takes Corbin with a huge dive as the screen begins to flicker and a message reads “THE TRUTH WILL BE REVEALED. THE TRUTH WILL BE HEARD” the screen goes back to the action as Corbin runs Hardy back first into the post on the outside. Corbin brings Hardy back into the ring and sets his sights on Jeff’s back. Corbin works over Hardy’s back with huge elbows to it. Corbin drops Jeff with a Backbreaker and holds Jeff over his knee. Corbin is yelling at Hardy to give up but it makes the fans cheer for Hardy even more! Hardy is able to break free and fight back. Hardy’s momentum is stopped shortly by Corbin again going after the back. Corbin continues to work over Hardy’s back and egg on the fans to a chorus of boos. Hardy is able to hit a Jawbreaker on Corbin and starts to turn the tide. Hardy’s offense is coming fast and furious at Corbin. A Mule Kick takes Corbin down into the corner where Jeff hits him with two huge boots to the face! Just as Jeff builds a comeback Corbin grabs him for End of Days. However when Corbin dips down, right before he can swing back and finish Hardy, Hardy flips out and lands on his feet, connecting with a Twist of Fate to Corbin right after. Hardy takes off his shirt and heads to the top rope where he connects with a Swanton Bomb for the three count! Winner: Jeff Hardy
THE BIG DOG’S BIG SHOWDOWN! Roman Reigns makes his way down to the ring and grabs the mic. Roman says he knows there isn’t much time left in the show but he wants to know if The Fiend is ready to fight. After last week, he doesn’t care where or when, if The Fiend thinks he’s bad, come out and prove he’s bad! Roman waits and waits but we hear nothing from Bray Wyatt. All the fans are turned to the titantron hoping for a Firefly Funhouse but we get nothing. Roman takes the mic again and says “What’s the matter Bray? Do you not like it when someone brings the fight to you? I know you are a tough dude, but trust me, I am a lot tougher! I have been through more and been through worse than you, so yeah, I know I can beat you like I’ve beaten everything else thrown my way.” Roman is staring at the ramp, still no response from Wyatt. All of a sudden Roman gets spun around and laid out by the WMD from the Big Show. The fans are shocked as Big Show is back and he has laid out the Universal Champion in one punch. Show stands over Roman’s body, staring at his own fist as Smackdown comes to a close.

We’re continuing to see changes with the writing style as this evolves show to show. I know I said last week that I really liked the idea of the big, bold Impact font headers but I think they’re best served for matches rather than each and every segment. Raw felt like your typical show, there doesn’t feel like there’s too much going on just yet. A lot of exposition for the most part. I think a big project you could focus on would be to make the 24/7 Championship division less of the joke it is designed to be. I think it can be much more than just a “bit” that plays out like a Road Runner cartoon. So hopefully we see more matches. Pairing Jinder Mahal with Rinku and Saurav is an interesting idea and it can set up a WWE Championship match, one would presume at Backlash in a month or so’s time. Again though, I’m not sure they’re ready for a main roster push so soon. We’re going to need to see a lot of building of them to prove to the audience as well, that they are not the Singh Brothers by a long shot. The Drew McIntyre and Becky Lynch thing…I’m not sure if that was a serious thing or not as the writing didn’t seem indicative of anything. I’m hoping it was just a cute angle. There is no way they would do that, and I suspect if that happens you’ll have Seth Rollins and his squadron - or Shayna Baszler - intercept it from happening. Outside of that, we’re seeing some cool little angles with Bobby Lashley and Lana arguing, but I feel like in cases such as this they should be seen before a live crowd whether in matches or in-ring promos.
SmackDown was more or less similar stuff, more continuation with the emphasis on new guys such as the Forgotten Sons and Mia Yim who were brought up recently. I would have gone with Baron Corbin in Money in the Bank in some form, it felt like the right place for him as obvious as it is that Jeff Hardy and ladder matches go hand-in-hand. Braun Strowman against Sheamus is an intriguing match for Money in the Bank. I feel like you could put even more emphasis on post-match attacks and shenanigans by giving them their own paragraph, after the winner subheaders. Some sentences still feel a little forced, try and delve into the expressive side of dramatizing these events. How major or important are these happenings to the reader? I'm not a fan of revisiting the Big Show and Roman Reigns rivalry, I will say that much. There are better ways to take the Bray Wyatt opposition for Roman Reigns in my belief. We're sure seeing improvements here, and creatively I predict we'll really see you thrive after Money in the Bank's out the way.

I almost feel like you're sending in too many NXT Superstars at one time. Maybe WWE would have done something similar if things had stayed normal, but if they're normal in this diary, theyd be competing for time with all the other superstars.
