If the social distancing is still in place by August what would you like to see happen with Summerslam? With them doing MITB in Titan Towers I would like to see something unique with Summerslam aswell.
Instead of it being in the PC I would like to see maybe an outside venue by a beach or even have the ring surrounded by water.

No way it can be held on a beach unless it was closed off to the public.

There will be no fans at any WWE show probably for a year. This COVID19 isn't going away. With the USA wanting to re-open everything and some stuff already being opened again, the surge of the 2nd wave of COVID19 will be worse than the first, thus shutting down more stuff than before.

Outside during the daytime, like Wrestlemania IX, with a beach theme like Summerslam 2007. Palm trees, lit torches, water, and coolers full of ice and drinks. Yeah, I love wrestling shows that take place outdoors, especially during the day. Brightens the overall atmosphere, and mood, imo.

If all the parks are still closed, set the ring up at a waterpark. They usually have man-made beaches. I always loved WCW's on location events. If they have to have it at the PC, at the very least, they better "Bash at the Beach" the hell out of the entrance stage. Of course, you might have to hire a crew for that, so that may not even be possible. I bought a 4 day pass for SummerSlam weekend before everything went to hell. I was looking forward to it. I haven't been to a SummerSlam since '95.

I would like to see Ricky Steamboat get his long awaited rematch against Honky Tonk Man and win once and for all.

If thereโs a second wave, when does this first one end? I donโt know if it will be on a beach, but it could be held outdoors somehow. The ufc plans on having fights on an island.

WWE has been so freaking lazy with their stages ever since going HD, especially when it comes to their PPVโs. I know it saves money, but cโmon. Use some imagination...

Beaches, and other places being reopened, and tons flocking right on down to them. It sucks, but thatโs the reality. People simply donโt care about anybody but themselves.

I'm not one of those people. Did you hear about the stupid people having a party in Brooklyn? I think tylerbreezee was just being positive. I hope he's right!

There definitely won't be an arena full of people.
It'd be rad if they did it on a giant ship in the water. Classic Street Fighter vibes. lol

I think it's highly doubtful at this point that SummerSlam will take place in an arena. Considering the shape the U.S. is currently in with this I would say best case scenario is that they could possibly fill the Performance Centre or Full Sail for SummerSlam with strict precautions before letting people in. Even then, I'd say that's a big stretch for August. With that said, it would be really cool if they could do the show on a closed off beach as a nice change of scenery.
Regardless, I think slowly allowing more fans into the PC or Full Sail will be WWE's best approach for reintegrating a live audience back into their programming once the world starts getting back to normal. If things continue the way they have been I can't see that happening until much later this year, if at all in 2020. There is going to be a slew of new protocols coming out of the pandemic that every company is going to need to adhere to moving forward. It's going to take the world some time to figure out how to make things work again. We all just need to be patient. It might suck at the moment, but it's important to remember that it's only temporary and eventually things will bounce back.

I don't even think it would need to be on the beach. I think a sunny day with a beach-themed entrance set up is plenty. I think being on the beach would be a ton of fun, though, but I get that it could be difficult given the circumstance. I LOVED WrestleMania 31. I think it stands out so much for being a great wrestling show obviously, but how different it looks than any other show like it. Being daylight until the last 30 minutes or so was so awesome.

An Atlantis theme for Summerslam is a sick idea and needs to be done eventually.

If you think Covid 19 will be gone by the summer you're a lunatic. This sh't is gonna stick around for ATLEAST another year. If we are still living in lockdowns and such by 2022 I wouldn't be the least bit surprised.
