My only issue with this show was the two semi-final matches should have been switched and Dustin had no reason to bust himself open like that.
I am really growing on Britt Baker, which surprises me because I really didn't like her until around a month ago. I think this quarantine has helped Baker and Shawn Spears the most out of the roster. I'm hoping Spears gets a solid midcard push from this, I think he's better than AEW is making him out to be. I really don't think the finish to Darby/Cody made him look too bad, because they've been making Cody look like a smart technician for a while and Darby has always been a headstrong dude who I think it makes sense for him to get outplayed. Still think it's a little lame they went with the predictable, but without a 16 man tournament I don't know how you make it unpredictable.

Great episode! The Bubbly Bunch gets more entertaining every week. Britt Baker is becoming a great heel. Hopefully she’s women’s champion soon. All the matches on this show were good and I don’t like squadh matches, but AEW does them well.

Britt Baker is amazing in pre-taped promos, and she's getting better with live promos. I really like her mean girl gimmick with Shivonie; it's different and no, I don't think it will go anywhere beyond what we're seeing - but if there's a twist somewhere, it would be a pleasant surprise. Jericho and his gang are incredible! This week's bubbly bunch raised the bar! Chris is such an asset to this company with his 30+ years experience and celebrity connections; I've never enjoyed his work as much as I do now. The danger here is that this faction is quickly becoming face; the audience sings Judas, they make funny videos, and sammy/LAX are funny as hell - the only lame-o is Hager; he just doesn't fit. He's like their dad, he even dresses like a dad. TNT tourney = predictable. Cody/Archer will be great none-the-less, but Cody needs to win that belt to move Archer on to Mox. It's really a pity that the pandemic happened right at the start of Mox's title reign. I hope people don't look back and think he can't draw as champ because the empty areans are just unfortunate. I'm REALLY liking Wardlow - stupid name - great look, and perfect way to build this guy. His loss to Cody didn't hurt, meanwhile he can squash everything to build up a respectable record. Why is Anna Jayy not on my TV more?  Give this girl matches every damn Wednesday please! |

I really hope the viewership went up for this show. If it wasn’t for this pandemic AEW Blood and Guts would have gotten over a million viewers, but less than 2 million. Kind of like raw is now😀

BTW the last few weeks have established that the Cross Rhodes is the least effective finisher in AEW.

I wasn't much into this episode, but I loved the OC spot, and the Brodie/Marko match was perfection. That little guy deserves so much more credit than he ever gets, and Brodie is making me believe his persona.
