AFA said they had to convince Target to do this for us, even if it doesn’t go up today, who honestly cares? This was a win for us as fans anyway. They will go up and you will get your figures if you don’t completely sleep on it by a few days if not weeks. This doesn't feel like a win to me. If they had to convince Target and this is the result, is it really a win? Sounds like Target doesn't really care and isn't inerested.

It’s happening guys. Please support this and I can convince the powers that be to keep it going for future waves. Let’s make it happen! Is it happening...today? I wanted to make it happen Action Figure Attack...but...I need retailers to meet me halfway and not give me empty promises. Calm down.

I'm not defending Target at all. But AFA has nothing to do with their poor execution. He pushed for pre-orders and they gave him a date they would go up. It's not Steve's fault at all. He's a part of this equation now. forum.wrestlingfigs.com/post/8867742/threadIt’s happening and support the line to keep it going as in when they actually get put on Target’s site you actually order them. Unlike when the Legends went to Matty and everyone was saying they were going to support it and buy them until the figures went live. Then only a few of us actually did support it with many who said they would passed complaining about the price and having to pay shipping. And the line died there. Target was late putting Shark, Red Rooster and now the Legends line on their site on the day it was announced. But Steve never gave a time he actually said he didn’t know what time it would happen. Just because he was told by Target they would list them today it’s a preorder and I am sure it’s not high up on Target’s priorities on things they are listing.

He should actually be mad at WWE. It was one of their twitter accounts that posted the information.

I was not aware of any of those other previous instances. I cannot speak on what happened there. All I know is, a verified blue checkmark account made the announcement and it had a graphic with today as the date.

But regardless it’s still on Target to update their site not Mattel or AFA.

I don’t understand, what is the problem? It’s still 5/10 so nothing is wrong yet. It also shouldn’t be a surprise if target ignores the advertisement. It has been stated in this thread that there have been issues in the past like that. FFS,.. even the OP expressed cautious optimism

Bill ran himself off. totally dif situation. I'm sure target botching the drop is the last thing AFA wanted. It's not on him at all. He gave the die hards a heads up, i'm glad to get any kind of heads up at all. And I missed the alert i set this morning, and then I was like ohh duh of course target probably didnt put em out yet. That's just par for the course

People are posting this and telling me to calm down when this was never actually said. I was simply pointing out what Action Figure Attack said. If it's wrong that I'm frustrated and disappointed, so be it. However, I never said that either. You've name dropped him in airing your frustrations more than you've ever actually pointed the finger at the actual guilty party. It's clear you're looking for a scapegoat and you've chosen the one guy who's taken it upon himself to be accessible to this thornbush of a fan base. It's no wonder Bill left this place high and dry, and we'd deserve no less if Steve ever chose to do the same. I blame WWE Universe Twitter and Target as well. They handled this poorly. Target for being lax on this, and WWE Universe Twitter for posting the announcement that was not followed through on.

Haven't you ever heard the phrase "don't shoot the messenger"?
