shame they never made a good Surfer Sting.
the WCW ToyBiz 6 pack ones are still the best.

If Mattel knew Sting wasn’t available yet Jake is then why not just put Jake in this set.

Not one surfer Sting with a soft jacket. When I say soft i dont mean those baggy clothed jackets that Jakks used they were terrible, but the material used in the first DM Macho Man.

Unpopular opinion: If this is the end of Sting's relationship with WWE, I think Mattel did a solid job with him. Not a great job, as there definitely could/should have been more surfer Stings given how many colors and etc. he wore, and some part choices were questionable, BUT they hit pretty much every major period and look of his career (outside of TNA obviously) with a solid variety of elites and basics. Again, not perfect, but not a Kurt Angle/RVD/Dudleys/Hardys situation by any means.

this sucks.
at least we did get all the "eras" of Sting covered and the DM Sting is one of the best figures Mattel has ever made

gosh I only hope Sting signs with AEW now. I can't believe how botched he has been under the Mattel brand: incorrect part choices for both Crow & Surfer versions, a whole set of useless basics, and a whole set of the same damn Crow version. This kinda upsets me because Sting is my all-time favourite and Mattel blew the many MANY variations we could have had with him. Surfer Stings were a no-brainer like Ultimate Warriors. But I'm sure there were WWE execs preventing this from happening since Sting is not a homegrown talent for them.
look at my sig - 4, FOUR surfer stings were BASIC....

I guess no Bladerunners then I wonder what if anything will replace Sting in this wave?

Sting was/is my favorite wrestler, so this bummed me out. I am less upset about getting this particular crow Sting in the Legends series than I am about getting future surfer Stings. I was, in particular, hoping for at least one more surfer Sting with neon pink pants and a long coat. I thought an Ultimate Edition version of that one might be the best way to get that out. I guess now it won't happen or will not happen until he re-signs.

Could it be its to close to the crow design? No, it's that they no longer have the rights to make Sting.

It sucks about Sting not coming out. I think mattel did an okay job on Crow Stings, but they did a shi+ job on surfer stings. I believe they only made two? BS. The great american bash didn't do much for me either. Sting is one of the most colorful wrestlers of all time. So many of his looks would have been money in the elite line.
My opinion. As a fan of his, I should be allowed to be a little disappointed. Notice how I said, "a little disappointed." -Not freaking out. Hopefully, Sting becomes available to make again soon. I'm sure he will at some point.
Now cue some boot licker who wants to give me the business over having an opinion. Or better yet hit me with the "what's going on in the world" line.

AEW is going to make a killing off of Sting and Harley Race figures.

Disappointment is inevitable no matter what they do. The defining moments Sting is an amazing figure and blew this one out of the water anyway in my opinion.

Can't they get WWE to sign Jeff Farmer and just release the cancelled figure? I mean there's been no better "nWo Sting" that this one that got cancelled.

I think there were 3 elites (TNF 3 pack, DM, and E62) and a few basics? The head always seemed too big but I'm happy with the Stings I have

I wonder why a figure like the Edgeheads can still be released, but Sting has to be pulled...I'd have to imagine that they're around the same point of production?

Good. Hopefully they replace him with someone we need, like Haku or Harley Race
