As I said in the RAW thread, I regret posting this. It should have been a surprise to those that didn’t have it spoiled elsewhere. I hate when things like this get spoiled ahead of time. My bad. 🤦♂️

I don't watch WWE anymore but saw this on twitter and gotta say I'm surprised by the reactions to this on here. I assume she must've really been stale or else people would be distraught.
At first I was like "wow this is kind of unchartered territory for WWE, I'm all about equality and everything but this is an example of some of the obstacles (and in some instances unforeseen) that have probably prevented WWE from really pushing women before"...and then I remembered Kharma got pregnant pretty soon after she debuted.
Anywho always exciting stuff.

First the men’s division, now Seth has ruined the women’s division too.

Welp, time for Alexa to get back to being pushed as the face of the division.
Happy for Becky. It's been a wild couple years for her. Lucky bastard Rollins...

The biggest accomplishment and hardest trial of their lives. Congratulations to both.
Fatherhood is what separates boys from men; it's time for Colby to grow up.

Congrats to Becky Lynch. I see no reason she couldn't return to the ring down the line if she wants.

Work on your pull out game Seth, it's as weak as your gimmick.

The dude wrestles, owns a wrestling school and a coffee shop. He’s not some 19-23 year old deadbeat that got his girl pregnant.

Becky has really done all there is to do in the business. She was a real trailblazer. She may return, but even if she doesn't she's got nothing left to prove. If she's wrestled her last match, legacywise she's already up there with (and possibly surpassing) Trish and Lita. It might sound crazy considering that it's only been 4 years, but what other female other than Sable was ever the most popular superstar in the company...or even the business? She headlined Wrestlemania, she was on the cover of the video game, she's been on top of merchandise sales. Seriously, if Charlotte is the Flair, Becky is the Hogan.

Good on 'em. I suspect the kid will be a star too, given the genes it is coming from.

This is really kinda perfect for Becky and WWE. She was pushed so hard and had such a long reign as champion, it’s better for her to relinquish than drop it to someone she’s already beaten a bunch. She also gets to have a family and when she eventually does come back, she’ll be red hot with a ready-made storyline and fans itching for her.

I think what greenjack really meant when he said Seth should grow up, is that Seth is a DBAG.
This works out well because we don't have to see Becky and her trying to be cool, and a badass. She is neither.

You can really tell, through threads like this, who's managed to take that bounding, breathtaking leap from childhood to maturity, and who's still slumming it on the soles of society's feet.

People saying Becky getting pregnant is “irresponsible” after signing a 5 year contract make me laugh. Why? Besides she’s 33 so now is a good time to start being a mother if that’s what she wants.

I'm very happy for both Becky and Seth. Becky has had such an incredible run with the title, it's bittersweet she has to step away but it's for such a great reason. Selfishly I hope she does come back down the line, but if she doesn't then she's certainly already had a storybook career. I know a good percentage of fans were wearing thin on Becky at the top of the division but I've been a fan of hers for the entire ride. She's an all around great worker and always came across as so sincere.
I think I might have shared this anecdote here in the past, but what always stuck out for me and made me a true fan of hers was how kind and humble she was when I randomly met her in a Macy's in Los Angeles back in September 2017. I'm assuming she was in town for the No Mercy PPV (even though she was on Smackdown at the time and it was a Raw PPV). I spotted her shopping the store with her then boyfriend (I think he's an MMA fighter) and had a "fu** it" moment when I decidedly walked up and asked "Excuse me, are you Becky Lynch?". In hindsight there was no doubt that she was but my nervousness got the better of me so that was my opener.
She promptly proceeded to extend her hand for me to shake and said "Yes, I am!". I kept it short and just let her know I was a big fan. The kicker was that she asked ME if I wanted to take a picture with her. I jumped at the opportunity and took a selfie. I felt bad and asked if her boyfriend wanted to jump in but he declined lol. To this day it's one of my fondest wrestling-related memories I have, not to mention pretty much the only organic celebrity run-ins I've had.
All that to say that when Becky spoke about her fans uplifting her last night, she wasn't just saying that while the cameras were on. At least not from my experience. Best of luck to her and Seth as they enter parenthood.

She is neither. Did you think this before she became the champion? When they tried to turn her heel at Summerslam 2018 and it failed miserably because everyone thought she was cool?

His behaviour and the way he carries himself will be what his child patterns him/herself after, not his accomplishments. If he's going to continue with his big-headedness and living his life through social media rather than developing a thick skin and showing his child what a man is then Becky's got an uphill battle before it begins.
