You really think No away Jose, Heath Slater, and Curt Hawkins are pushing those ratings up? This is one of those where the OP states his opinion and nothing else anyone says could possibly be true or have merit. King Corbin vs. Drew McIntyre isn't. Just because a handful of people on here don't like Corbin and think he sucks doesn't mean he's not a draw. Like it or not, the guy is a main event player at this point. If I can compare him to someone, I'd say he's 2005-2009 JBL. People HATED JBL, but he was basically always featured, main event feuds, and while from the naked eye it didn't seem like people tuned in to watch him, they more than likely did. You can sure as hell bet my 10 year old ass tuned into Smackdown every week to watch Batista flatten him in 2005. And guess what, kids are the majority who WWE will cater to because they're the ones who don't have jobs or responsibilities and won't miss an episode of the show every week. So I can tell you right now, kids are definitely gonna want to watch McIntyre drop him next week.

How obtuse. I'll write it out. P a n d e m i c. Many wrestlers who weren't released and prominently featured are not coming into work. That's why one raw saw Zelina Vegas faction work 3 matches in a row. That's why one raw had Black vs Apollo go on for 20 minutes. People aren't coming into work. Sami. Kevin. Up until yesterday Randy and Edge. Maybe firing all those guys they could've used to fill time on these shows was short-sighted . And you call me obtuse. Chances are maybe those same guys didn't want to work during those events. because they were already having those issues before they restarted the push of Apollo crews. You're acting as if the releases came prior to the pandemic. The releases came after a few weeks of them working shows without a crowd and with them already working with a limited roster. And it wasn't limited because of the releases. That happened after. so my guess is those wrestlers released didn't really want to work during the pandemic either.
