One of my biggest pet peeves about Elites and now the Ultimates line is the articulation. Most action figures on the market nowadays have double jointed knees and elbows (this has been addressed in your Ultimate line). You guys should take those the standard on Elite figures. The torso joint on Ultimate figures are poorly executed it's not functional to a fault. I would suggest taking a look at Hasbro's Power Rangers Lighting Collection line for reference.

If i had to guess, i'd say double jointed arms will be incorporated into Elites at Series 100, then every Series following. It's quite a while away, though that's something that would make the Series special.
As for the torso, i hope they NEVER use the Ultimate Edition torsos for the Elite line. The UE torsos are awful and the only downside to the line, the current Elite torsos are 1000x better. I know it's too deep into the line to change it now, but a change to the Elite torso would make them much better.
As for the rest of the articulation, it's fine for the most part. My only peeves are the quality of them:
- Some of the larger sized arms don't have great bend range.
- Baggy pants legs still don't raise that high. If i wanted to one of those legs, they'd barely get past knee height.
- The small torso left shoulder issue. How has this not been fixed yet...
- Jeff Hardy's studded belt legs. They're like the other baggy pants figures, except they're so tight and if you try to raise them at all, it almost feels like they'll snap. The right leg of my Entrance Greats Jeff is hanging on by a thread.

They need to add butterfly joints to the chest/shoulders.... it's kinda sad that Marvel Legends can perform wrestling holds better than Wrestling figures. Also I honestly think they need to look into fixing their ultimate torso joint its awful... there's absolutely no improvement over the elite ab crunch. If if they did a diaphragm joint similar to the Hasbro Power Ranger's line the possibility will be increased immensely. I get that Mattels Elite figures are a huge improvement over LJNs and Hasbro WWF figures but compared to almost every domestic and import line out there on the market currently they are relics.

Thx Good stuff to know right here while starting out a collection and I guess I’ll be keeping that Jeff Hardy Entrance Greats MOC after all are you referring to daniel Bryan AJ Styles type builds w that left shoulder issue or ? i assume for example Harper 35 has great articulation ? i haven’t started opening most of my new purchases yet but Owens 66 seems to be ideal from first time impressions is there more like this ? so what would you consider some of the best articulation out of elite figures what would be a good roster of articulation

I hate butterfly joints because unless there’s a shoulder pad on the figure they never look natural. The shoulder ball always sticks out to far from the torso. Although the design image of the UE Hogan looks natural I would need to see the final product before I can say it’s a great design.
Also I hate the drop down hips the import figures and the later versions of DCC Icons had. They make the figures seem frail like if it falls off the shelf it’ll 100% lose a leg.

The fact that most women's elites still don't have double jointed legs makes me so dang sad. I almost feel like they are looking at us saying "Har har har, you got several years of Elite Basics, now you must suffer from Basic Elites! HAR HAR HAR"

Hence, my confusion. Basically? Ignore me.
