Hulk Hogan’s name has come up in a few threads on here recently. One of the things that a few agree is how great he was at selling and really putting his opponent over as a threat.
The first event I ever saw was the Royal Rumble 92. The two stand outs for me at that event were Bobby Heenan and Ric Flair. I was twelve at the time and knew that wrestling was choreographed. But from the second Flair came through the curtain, Heenan went into complete meltdown to the point you could believe he really did have everything on the line. And Flair begged off every body and really sold every move. Made suspending your disbelief so much easier.
So who do you guys think were great at selling? Any stand out performances?
On the flip side was there ever anybody that you thought was poor at selling?

Rick Rude was awesome. Bret Hart and Owen Hart. Ric Flair obviously and curt hennig. Plenty more
Warrior was awful, maybe the worst actually. Goldberg too wasn’t great. Hogan wasn’t amazing imo selling opponents in the ring.

I always like how RVD sold his "five star frog splash". He would hold his own stomach like the moved hurt him too. Nobody else does that. Jericho was also really good too.

Three of the best in-ring performers of all-time. Is it me or should Perfect have spun the other way in the video above? To add to the list, Ricky Steamboat, Jake Roberts, and the Rock n Roll Express were all great at selling and making there opponents look good.

Hogan was definitely great at selling and even better at ruining all that work with his ridiculous comebacks. I understand the era and his status and all but even at 8 years old I thought it was absurd how all of a sudden nothing affected him.

bret was great at selling of course, flair was great at selling with his 'oh god no!' to get the crowd going, and michaels was great when he wasn't going into business for himself.

Rob Van Dam is great. He can make any move look like it almost kills him, and make his own moves look so high impact that they hurt him.
To this day, i still think this is the greatest RKO sell of all time, all the way down to the damn dribble.
