Attires/gimmicks that you grew to love over time.

I logged onto Youtube earlier today and right on feed I saw a thumbnail of Jushin Liger's debut match in Japan. The thing that immediately got my attention was how incredibly stupid looking his costume looked but after a few chuckles I realized that I thought the exact same thing when I was first exposed to him on Nitro many years ago. Over time of course that very costume on Nitro has become iconic to me and I'm willing to bet a lot of other people find it enduring as well. I was wondering if there are any other costumes or gimmicks that aged well over time but looked ridiculous upon debut.
